The Counting Down Minutes
Brian stood on the roof of the hospital, enjoying the beauty of Tokyo City from the top of the building. Tonight, the moon looks beautiful. Accompanied by the stars that adorn the sky. This was, the second day after his meeting with Bella.
In five days, Brian must be executed in the United States. Since this morning, Bella had not seen him at all, it seemed like Bella was busy. But amidst his daydreams, a pair of hands hugged him, making him startled and instantly turned around. Her heart was so happy, when she saw that the person who hugged her was Bella.
"You're here?"
"Sure, I want to see you."
"It's late, why don't you go home?"
"I just want to see you, the work in the office is a lot. But, before I came here I bought this." Bella shows Brian a lantern and hands him over.
"Lampion? What's this for?"
"Many people believe, when we take off these lanterns into the sky, then raise hope. That hope will come to God."
Slightly anxious by Bella's explanation, Brian's burly hand pinched the small of his nose.
"Don't I think you're superstitious?"
"What's wrong, we try? Comeon!"
"All right!"
Both of their hands began to hold the lantern. They closed their eyes, then took off the lantern.
"What do you expect?"
"Miracle."
Brian smiled slightly at Bella, without caring about her, his gaze turned towards the beautiful night sky. They stood side by side, similarly staring at the sky. Noiseless, no noise, only the night sky became the gaze of their object.
"Be nice!" Now Bella began to break the silence, by giving a little comment.
"True, this is God's power."
"But why, did God show this? When he's gonna take you from me."
Brian was throwing his breath rough. He turned his body, facing Bella. His hand touched the small of his shoulder, and locked his gaze with his ocean-blue eyes.
"I'm not leaving!"
"You just calm me down!"
"No, I mean it! Didn't I tell you about true love?"
"But that's a bitter reality!"
"Then accept it as a strong man!"
"How is it possible!"
"You can! I believe that!"
"Why are you so sure?"
"Because you're my Bella. You're my light. If you can get me out of the dark, then you can live without me by your side."
"Please don't say anything. I'm not that strong! All I have is you!"
"I am only gone from this world, from this God-given facility! I just leave my body, my soul will be there, the brightest star. Who lights you up, and will always be watching you. I'll always be waiting for you there, but don't, think about following me there. Let time run. Enjoy life. When the time comes, God Himself will lead you there!"
"What kind of destiny unites us? Why, we are met if it finally leads to a dilemma? Where am I... I have to choose between justice and love?"
"Knowing you is more than enough for me!
I'm sorry I can't help you, baby!"
Brian smiled hearing that, his hands gently rubbed the tears of Bella, who began to race down.
"Don't help me, it's penance for me! And I'm proud of you."
Brian hugged the sobbing Bella. As Brian hugged her, his cries broke even more. Bella returned the hug, no less tight than Brian. This is really not their desire. The two of them had just met. Should they separate again.

Brian clasped Bella's delicate hand tightly. They walked towards the pop corn seller.
"Two corn pop and two sodas, sir!" Bella told a pop corn seller.
"Why two pop corns?"
"Are you not eating?"
"Well, one pop corn and two sodas, sir."
When the order was already in their hands, their steps began to enter the cinema hall. Sitting together in the chair provided, a few minutes later, the room that had been empty, was now full of many young men carrying his lover, before long the film began.
Brian is not too interested in this movie that is being played. Romance genre film, Bella is the one who chose a film like this to watch. Brian looked at the beautiful face of Bella, who was focused on the screen. The hair made her look like an angel.
Brian pulls Bella's small body, seconds later Bella is already leaning on Brian's shoulder. Bella was a little surprised, but soon she gave a smile, and looked again at the cinema screen. Not infrequently Brian gently rubbed his mane.
"You like this movie so much?"
"Hmmm. Really like!"
"Why?"
"Oh, I obviously really like it!"
"What if it's an action movie?
"Not too interested, Brian. Don't talk too much, let me watch the movie until it's over."
"Oh so? You let me be lonely sober, and you're watching this movie without caring about me?"
Brian was a little annoyed at Bella, his eyes looked bored at the movie that had been turned, Bella gave a small glance towards Brian who was upset.
"Why is your face like that?" Bella straightens her position, and begins to notice Brian being annoyed at her.
"Hi, I'm asking you!"
"I see our pop corn is up, I better go out and buy it again!" Brian moved from his seat, but Bella held him back.
"Damn you, always like this!" Pissed Bella.
"Hey, why are you swearing in front of me?"
"I hate you always like this!"
"Stop swearing in front of me!"
"If I don't want to?"
"You'll feel the consequences!" Bella smiled faintly hearing Brian threaten her.
"I'm not afraid of your threats!"
"Oh, is that it?"
Brian approached Bella who was getting further away from him, his burly hand pulling Bella closer. Lock up every Bella fight. Their eyes met, their eyes locked, their faces closing in on each other, creating one gentle kiss.
A few minutes later, the two of them began to smile, Brian fusing his forehead with Bella's forehead.
"This is something you rarely do!" Bella gently rubs Brain's firm jaw.
"Why aren't you angry?"
"Usually you always protest, if I'm like this in a public place."
"I don't know myself, but this time it feels different!"
"Whatchu mean? "
"I can't explain it!"
"Don't say many more words, baby!"
"That word say again!"
Bella is very anxious with Brian's behavior like this, especially when she hears the words affection from her mouth. She was so happy when she heard it. That silky smooth hand pinched Brian's cheek.
"Say again!"
"Take off your hands, get them out of my face!"
"No, it's funny you look weird!"
"Alright, you should feel it too. It's feel!"
They pinched each other little, only with that little bandage did they laugh at each other, because the little deed was quite ridiculous if they did it, considering they were no longer children, so they do this in public places. But let it be if with something as small as this can make them happy.
