Part 29 - Focus
Six months later in the Final Semester
Time keeps passing. Grace is currently in the final semester of class XII. That means that it will soon face the National Examination.
In order for Grace to focus on learning, Grace forgets all about love and decides to leave the dorm.
This decision he took was so that he would really focus on learning. During this time in the dormitory, lack of focus on learning.
"Good morning, ma'am."
"For Grace." replied Mrs Heni
"Mom, I ask permission not to stay in the dorm anymore because I want to focus on studying first to face the national exam ma'am." said Grace to Ms. Heni.

"Just like Grace." Grace leaves Bu Heni from her room.
From the beginning of the semester Grace has rarely stayed in the dorms because more live in the homes of acquaintances who are already considered as her tant.
The aunt lives alone so she can be a friend and help clean the house. Sometimes Grace also invites Ita to help clean her house.

To get to school, Grace had to travel for about an hour so Grace had to get up as early as possible to get to school on time. It's just that, Grace is often late due to the rather difficult transportation. And, to return home must be fast in order to catch up with the village transportation that leads to his home. If you get home from school according to study hours, get ready to walk from the market with 40 minutes needed. Therefore, Grace often skipped school for the sake of not walking. Because the village transportation is only until the hours children go home from school. While from the school to the transport base takes an hour.
Today Grace plans to get home a little quickly so as not to walk. But of course not allowed by the teacher.
"Mom, I'll let you go home first?" pamit Grace to Bu Upik.
"can't. Must come until the lesson is over." replied Bu Upik.
"Well, Mom...." Ms. Upik did not reply anymore. Grace is out of the office.
"Street, today." murmured Grace.
Because she was not allowed to go home, Grace just sat in front of the school with a bag. Suddenly Grace sees her father riding on one of the passing buses. He screamed and the bus stopped. Then Grace nicely followed her father.
Grace doesn't know where her father is going, which is important. Grace is taken to a house owned by her father's friend who is holding the village chief election.
"Ah, you know that wasn't coming. Moreover, the return home has reached this afternoon." murmured Grace. While at home, his mother was waiting for Grace restlessly because it was late afternoon not yet home. After seeing her mother Grace go home with her father, then relieved. Fear of something unwanted happening.
The next day Grace set off in spirit, although a little late, but still in school. In fact, sometimes Grace also deliberately to be late for school if her lazy soul revolts.
Arriving at school, Grace gets English lessons and there are assignments done. Since Grace's work system was fast, she still relaxed not working on it immediately.

The book lands on Grace's head. Slowly but surprisingly.
"Do Grace!!! Keep playing your job" said English Teacher. Grace simply raised her head and smiled back at her teacher's treatment. Her teacher Grace was not a killer teacher but was furious at Grace's relaxed attitude. Moreover, his teacher was still single and they were close.
In addition to the lessons Grace learned at school, to prepare for the national exam, Grace got used to working on practice questions. It is not uncommon for Grace to ask her teacher about herself and work at home. After all, Grace left it to the teacher for examination.
Every day Grace does the exercises before a month of National exams.
"Mom, can I have a lesson on the National English Language Review?"
"Can I have a question about Maths training?"
"Can I have a question about Indonesian Language Training?"
Almost every day before going home from school, that sentence is often thrown to his teachers.
Different from his friends. Every day they only accept what is given by the teacher and do not try to increase learning hours. If something is not understood, they will remain silent.
Even they are still relaxed with things that are not as important as usual. Sitting around telling stories, singing and walking somewhere.
The next day, Grace will bring the results of her work and be handed over to her teacher. If there is something that he does not understand, it will be marked and ask directly to his teachers. At least he tried to work on it first.
Grace did not want to waste her time studying. When the sun went down, Grace entered the room to read the Bible and pray, and began to work on the matter.
Grace's parents supported what Grace was doing, therefore Grace's parents did not charge for homework. All of Grace's school needs were prepared by her mother.
Although Grace's mother does not understand reading and writing, she wants her child to succeed later so that it can help the family to be better.
Waking up in the morning her mother had already prepared the clothes that Grace would wear and breakfast was already available at the table.
Grace just needs to get up early and clean up. Everything is prepared.
Although Grace is from a modest family, her mother Grace is a mother who does not complain. He will try as much as possible for the good and happiness of the family.
Grace's sister is not home right now. He moved to Borneo to work as a builder. Grace's sister was only a Junior High graduate but after graduation took an electronics course. But because it is quiet and income is not supportive, finally make the decision to go to Kalimantan.
With her brother working, Grace could pay the National Exam money without any difficulty. Her sister Grace helped with all of Grace's needs so she focused on learning.
The tension has begun. They must be prepared to fight on exam matters. For Grace who had studied one month before, it was fine with her exams. But for his friends, the test is like fighting against an ally who does not have complete equipment and preparation while the opponent is ready with complete equipment.
Tables and chairs have been neatly arranged with a safe distance so as not to cheat each other. Clean room from lesson posters. All books are removed. Nothing to bring in. There are only pencils, erasers and pads on the table.
Tight exams. The sharp-eyed supervisor had already entered the room. Sultry, tense and worried mixed into one.
4 Days of National exams. Feelings of relief and worry haunt. The National Examination became the graduation standard. If it fails, it will not pass.
Finally, the school principal made an announcement. All students are gathered in the classroom.
"Hahaha... I don't know what to say? Saddened then? funny huh? concerned about?" said Mr. Irvan as the principal who has made tense all students.
"Your National Examination results have come out." added Mr. Irvan.
"Result sir?" ask one of the students.
"Disappointingly yes. But how'd it go?" everything is more tense like sitting in a hot chair. "Only one graduated in this class." added Mr. Irvan.
"Who sir?" ask one of the students.
"Grace. Only Grace graduated in this class" Mr. Irvan said.
"Is this right sir?" ask Grace. Mr. Irvan just nodded his head. "Uh, thank God." breathed a sigh of relief. That means Grace is ready to go to college if the opportunity favors her.
"Good Grace." said Mr. Irvan.
"Good Grace." said Dona.
"Good Grace." said Ita.
"Good Grace." said Luci
"Good Grace." said Apong
"Good Grace." said Rina
"Good Grace." said Reni

One by one they congratulated Grace while shaking hands. They have to be sporty.
From this they can learn that to achieve the desired goal must work hard. Can't relax. You have to focus and try.
When Grace came home. Grace excitedly told her parents that she had passed the exam.
"Mom, I'm so grateful to have passed this National Exam. I was the only one who graduated in our class. It wasn't in vain that I decided to get out of the dorm and focus on studying."
"Good Grace. You should thank God for helping you finish the test well. Remember, don't be arrogant. It's about to pass on its own, finally it's arrogant" said Grace's mother.
"Hahaha.no ma'am." said Grace.
"But you can't go to college because there's no cost." Grace's father replied. Grace could only fall silent at the words of her father. Really want to go to college, the bamboo house just wants to collapse. Eating is hard especially for college.
After a few days, Grace got a letter from one of the universities that was recruiting prospective nurses. Grace just opened it and read it. In addition to not being interested in the costs that become a constraint even though there is a discount.
Grace still remains on her stance to continue studying in the field of spirituality as her ideals since grade 6 Elementary. But now it's just surrender. Accept the existing circumstances.
After the announcement of passing the exam, Grace still came to school to complete the administration and the three-finger mark. But it is rare to stop by the dormitory to meet his friends.
Grace felt there was already some distance between them. Not as familiar as it used to be though his classmates and some of the people in the D2 program are still on good terms.
Sometimes Grace also still communicates with Ekon. His love for Ekon has not changed still remains the same. Likewise with Ekon even though it was blocked by Mini.
Ekon did have an idea to introduce Mini to Kris's neighbor and it worked. They also have a relationship of being lovers.
Kris loves Mini. He'll do anything to make Mini happy. Even he was willing to spend his savings to make Mini happy.
With a case like this, Ekon felt that Kris used Mini. Not infrequently Ekon also advised Kris not to obey all the wishes of Mini. It must be wise to use money. Don't be wasteful, because humans don't know what's going to happen up ahead. You might suddenly need money. But because for the sake of world happiness and pampering the lover, finally having trouble.

After Grace's one-week graduation, Grace got answers to her prayers and desire to achieve my goals.
While Grace was relaxing, Grace had both guests. One was her religious teacher Grace. The other is a student who is undergoing a three-month period of practice.
"Good morning Grace." said Mr. Tri who got off his bike.

"We're here to offer you a course in a major you've always wanted Grace to study." Said Mr. Tri. Grace was still silent because she was constrained by the cost.
"The cost issue is not to be thought about. What matters is that you first want to. Easy cost issues. God must provide." continued the student practice. "Don't worry. For the cost later helped." he added.
"When did you leave, brother?" ask Grace.
"One Sunday more" he answered.
"Well, I'll talk to the parents first. I want to go to college but our family is like this. Don't have money to finance." Grace replies in hopes of allowing parents.
"Okay, will you call? Otherwise, we will come back to make sure. You have to think about Grace, this is the best opportunity for you. Don't waste it." said Mr. Tri who gave encouragement.
"Good sir. I'll call you later."
"All right, we'll say goodbye first. Tell the parents, the cost problem do not think about." pay both.
They left Grace's house in the hope that Grace would accept the offer.
