Part 28 - Econ

But the Econ keeps thinking that both can be achieved or obtained. Ekon thought, after all the distance of the dormitory with the campus he would enter was not far away. It is still easy to communicate.

Ekon POV On

Huh, it will soon be leaving this dormitory to reach my goals and improve my future. But it felt hard leaving Grace.

The new building bears witness to my growing love for her. Very quickly this feeling appeared. All of a sudden anyway. She's a different girl than the other girls. Cheerful, humorous and it seems like he is also mature in mindset.

Today I noticed him again when he was in the kitchen with his three friends. I didn't come and say hello. I've been paying enough attention to him from afar. It also made my heart beat. Already want to dislodged it feels. Can't take it anymore. Especially when approaching, surely my heart is completely dislodged.

Her thunderous laughter made me want to approach her even more and have her. He was like a man with no problems. Happy continues. I'm really interested in him.

But there is a barrier, there is a girl who likes to pay attention to me. Wherever I go, he always watches over me. I've tried not to care. But he kept trying to get close to me. She's Grace's underclassman. Mini name.

Compared to Grace, it is very different.

His eyes are always on me. I'm risi. Don't know what kind of girl she is. Aggressive maybe. It's completely different with Grace.

I'm being asked to help Mother Dorm to change the lights in the kitchen. The lamp is dead. Pity the picket when the dark works. I'll just say it and recede.

He even laughed at me. I would love to curse him. Wanting to get out the harsh words I usually do but I held back my emotions. I don't want to provoke a fuss and people demean me. Especially if Grace knew I was maki-maki surely she would stay away from me.

I'm really upset with that little girl called Mini. If I can burn or I can destroy for a moment, let there be no more on this earth.

Finally, I refocused on installing the lights until it was finished. I tried to squeeze in the outlet, it could turn on. Then I shut it down again. After that I told the dormitory mother that the lights could be on. Then I went back to my room.

Ekon POV off

After Mini from the kitchen, he went to the room. Mini one room with Grace. When he got to the room, he told what happened in the kitchen frenziedly and excitedly that he had managed to surprise Econ and he almost fell.

Grace who heard the story just kept quiet and laughed in her heart because Grace had not had any feelings for Ekon. He just relaxed hearing the story. I have also met a few times. So, there has not been a growing love in her.

3 days later, Ekon leaves the dorm and goes without saying goodbye to Grace. But he orders Vinus to have Grace call Econ. Vinus also drove Grace to a public phone or wartel (phone booth).

Grace doesn't know why Econ told Grace to call. Grace was just following Vinus' orders. The two of them went out of the dormitory and looked for the nearest wartel.

The closest wartel was lining up a few people. Grace remembered that there were still wartels not far away. They also went to the wartel.

Arriving at the wartel, Vinus pressed the number button in front of him.

Tut's.... Tut's.... Tut's....

Vinus gives the phone to Grace and Grace accepts.

"Hello, good night Grace." That voice on the other end of the phone.

"Good night too, sister." replied Grace who was still confused as to what to call.

"Thank you for calling."

"Sama-sama brother. Why did you tell bang Vinus to take me to call you?" ask Grace without further ado.

"I miss you, Grace." Grace's heart is out of order.

"I like you, Grace." Grace recalled the story of the Mini in the room that had shocked Econ.

"Will you be my girlfriend, Grace?" continued Ekon.

"Sorry, no not. But I can't." replied Grace who didn't want Mini to be disappointed as well and kept her roommate feeling.

"Why?" ask Econ.

"There are people who like big brother. I can't take it big brother." replied Grace. Ekon no longer asked who liked him. Because he already knew it was Mini.

"Yes already brother. It was yes. Thank ye. God bless." Grace paused and hung up the phone unilaterally.

"Have you?" ask Vinus.

"Had it." replied Grace briefly.

"Kok's fast?" asked Vinus curiously. Grace did not reply just to reply with a smile.

The two of them left the place and returned to the dormitory. No words came out of Grace's mouth during the trip.

Vinus understood with Grace's sudden silent attitude. But Vinus also wondered why Grace suddenly kept quiet. Vinus did not want to add to the mood of Grace who was irregular.

They were in the dining room and they separated.

"Thank you bang." That's just Grace's words.

"Together." Vinus doesn't hold Grace anymore. She knew that Grace was going to the room.

Grace entered the room and laid her body on the mattress but her eyes were fixed on the ceiling. He thought about Econ's words just now on the phone.

While Ekon who was there also thought of Grace's answer.

"Why did Grace answer like that? Why was he thinking about Mini's words? Why would he care about Mini's feelings? It's all because of the Mini. But I'm not giving up. Tomorrow I will go to the dorm." muttered Ekon in silence in his room with many questions.

The next day Grace wakes up as usual. He forgot what happened. He won't bother with Econ. He's a fool with that. He will give Mini a chance to get Ekon despite Grace's unconscious 'honey' feelings for Ekon. But as much as possible, Grace forgot about that feeling before she left.

The night was right, Ekon came to the dormitory carrying a box of donuts as souvenirs. But Ekon did not meet with Grace directly. He waited in the room that used to be an office but now it has been emptied even though there are still tables and chairs.

Ekon asks Vinus to call Grace to the office. Grace followed. There was Dona, Vinus and Joshua. There were some people hanging out in front of the office. So noisily.

Unabashedly, Grace snatched a doughnut from the box and stuffed it in her mouth.

The econ who saw it just smiled. Laughter filled the room. Especially if there is Joshua and Vinus. All stories will be published. They are a horde that cannot be separated despite their distance.

Grace spent two doughnuts. "Support free." he thought.

The night is getting late. Ekon must return to his boarding house and Grace returns to the dormitory to study.

After the meeting that night, the working Vinus got Grace to accept Econ. But Grace refused on Mini's grounds. There is love in his heart for Econ. But he can control his feelings. Grace doesn't want to let Mini down.

Grace's love for Econ is greater than that of Anes let alone Peter. Although when viewed from the looks of things, Econ is nothing but Grace is very comfortable with Ekon. But what is called love will not look at the physical.

Joshua had an idea for Econ to play Mini by using it. Actually he did not want to but Joshua forced. Joshua insisted because Mini was always chasing Ekon.

"Kon, you're working on Mini." The idea in Joshua's head.

"What's? Don't mess with me I don't want to." replied Econ with eyes glaring at Joshua. Joshua made Econ as bait.

"You pretended to be sick and told Mini to come with fruit." Joshua's silly idea.

"Ah, don't want to." thought Ekon afraid to give hope to Mini.

"Come, try it." force Joshua who wants to eat fruit.

"Yes I tried. But you called Mini." answered Ekon rather grouchy and annoyed at Joshua's ridiculous idea.

In fact, Joshua actually contacted Mini and asked Econ to pretend to be sick and ask to bring fruit.

Because of Mini's great love for Ekon, he also accepts her. Then he went out of the dormitory to the fruit vendor and took him to Ekon.

Upon arriving at Econ's hostel, he saw Econ lying on the bed. Then he put the fruit on a small table near Econ's bed. Taking a wooden chair near him to the bed, he sat down and watched the sleeping Econ.

He did not dare to wake Econ and he did not know how either.

It's been 10 minutes, not waking up. While he had to hurry back to the dormitory. Because Ekon felt sorry, he also wanted to open his eyes and greet Mini.

"Hi, are you here?" ask Econ.

"Yes. Kan bang Joshua told you that brother again sick and asked to be visited." said Mini make sure.

"Oh, I don't know." she replied lying. "Yes, thank you for visiting. You better get home soon. Not good with anyone else. It is also late afternoon." continued Ekon with the intention of gently expelling.

"A little bit more is okay. I still want to be here." she said.

"This is..." Econ got up from his sleep and took a sitting position near Mini. Then his hand was placed on Mini's thigh, making Mini shocked and shifted the seat. Ekon smiled looking at Mini's sudden heartache because of that touch. "It will be late in the afternoon, you will return home later." continued Ekon.

Finally, Mini was according to Ekon's words and left the hostel.

"Ah, this Joshua makes it troublesome. But it's also good that he brought fruits." murmured Ekon. "Next time I want to know Kris. Who knows if he wants to. Dizziness I made it." he continued nagging himself.

The night has come. Mini has arrived at the dorm with a flowery heart. While Ekon felt stupid with what he had done to Mini.

That night Econ and Joshua feasted on the fruit of the Mini-given. Joshua just enjoyed it without guilt. While Ekon, keep thinking how next. Mini must have kept hoping. Moreover, this was like giving her a chance and hope.

Meanwhile, Grace who is in the dorm continues to enjoy her days. Even though Vinus kept trying to get Grace to accept Econ, it still didn't work. Grace doesn't want to break Mini's heart anymore. When it comes to love, Grace is most lazy to make a fuss. He would sacrifice his feelings for others.

Sometimes Ekon still goes to the dorm to meet with Grace. But Grace decided not to see him again. Ekon finally decided not to go to the dormitory again looking for Grace. More focused on college.

Ekon majored in Informatics.

To support his lectures, Ekon also sought work so as not to trouble the parents. If he doesn't go to college, he'll spend time working. Than doing nothing. It is better to work to earn money to support his college.

Ekon is used to living independently. So, it does not matter if you go to college while working.

Ekon and Grace both try to forget their feelings by not seeing each other again. But still can't. To Ekon, Grace is a special girl, who has stolen his heart. Of course it's hard to forget. That feeling is still stored neatly in the heart.

And so is Grace. Despite giving up for Mini, still can not eliminate the love that has grown slowly.

For Grace, Econ was different from Peter and Anes though spiritually and visibly, Peter was the winner. But Grace's heart was already firmly imprinted for Econ.

Grace also did not dare to answer or reciprocate Econ's feelings despite the love and longing in her heart. The econ is the same.

Grace did not want to take a big decision so it was fatal. He remained in his position not to accept Econ.
