The Road Behind the Waterfall

Kaito continued to step on his feet, he looked forward. The sound of water flowing from the direction, Kaito began to run towards the source of the sound. How surprised he was to see the vast lake and waterfall inside the cave. Kaito began to feel confused because he saw all that. He began to open the map that was brought, on the map it was clear that the location was a city and not a lake.

Kaito looked at the lake, he saw something quite strange in that place. But all in that place there is only a stretch of water, a wall of caves and a waterfall.

"It's a very strange and senseless thing. The man drew this map and marked it as a city, but why even a lake ?"

Kaito walked closer to the lake, his gaze fixed towards the waterfall.

"Is it possible that behind the waterfall there is a road to the old city ? but why does the lake water not overflow even though it is filled always by waterfalls ?"

Questions and incongruities popped into Kaito's head. How the theory and logic of a lake filled by waterfalls but not overflow at all. Kaito squatted by the lake and stared into the lake.

"Damn it looks like this lake is so deep, I can barely see the bottom. If I fall into this lake, I'll make sure I drown"

Kaito stood up and walked closer to the waterfall. How swift the waterfall made him think back to see what was behind it. Kaito leaned against a rock, staring at the rushing waterfall.

"Am I trying to use a ball of lightning to see if there's a road behind it to the old town ?"

Kaito began to concentrate all his energy into the palm. He turned that energy into a ball, then he threw it towards the waterfall. The ball of lightning shot very fast and caused a big explosion that made the waterfall flow split in two. that's when Kaito saw there was a road behind the waterfall, which is the only way, but suddenly the stone from the top of the road collapsed closing half the entrance due to the explosion. Kaito just fell silent and thought of how to split the flow of the waterfall without crushing the rock above so as not to collapse again. Recalling the book he read in the hall room, Kaito recalled the passage in the book where it was written that energy can be transformed into the form of elements and controlled as desired. But Kaito continues to think how to control the ball of lightning that is thrown so as not to hit and explode. He just pensively stared at the waterfall and then stepped foot closer to the waterfall. The distance between Kaito and the waterfall was a few meters, he took a deep breath and then concentrated all the energy around his body. He also stepped his feet towards the rushing waterfall, when he arrived near the waterfall suddenly appeared lightning that circled Kaito's body and protected him. It turned out that Kaito concentrated all of his energy around his body and formed it around him, so that as he started to approach the waterfall his energy in the fox into the form of lightning that spread through his body.

The lightning that protected Kaito formed a cone and caused water to be unable to penetrate it. Finally he reached the front entrance behind the waterfall, the stone that had covered half the way was destroyed by Kaito with a lightning shield. After entering the road Kaito stopped his defenses and started walking in towards the old town.

"I didn't think the lightning shield was a success even though I tried it first. With this my ability already there are 4, between defense and strength turned out to be almost perfect"

But unlike the previous cave road that has torches and lanterns, but on the road there are absolutely no lanterns or torches. Finally Kaito had an idea, he took out his lightning ball and held it to make it like a flashlight. Along the way Kaito continued to feel a very different chill, the wind blowing as if piercing to the bone. But Kaito continued to step forward and ignore what he felt, until finally he stopped because of an aura of darkness that seemed to want to kill him.

"What is this aura ? this aura was like a feeling of death. This shit, it came from in there. What's up there ? and what kind of death aura is this ? even so why not feel the slightest bit of killing like when I met the 2 lizards ? no matter what happens I have to keep moving forward"

Kaito continued on despite his body as if in the face of an ice storm that froze his steps. Suddenly Kaito was attacked with a loud bang from the front. He remained standing but the object that attacked him seemed to disappear, Kaito just fell silent and did not move. His eyes kept watching around where he stood.

Kaito was attacked from behind. He could not see what was attacking him.

"Damn what attacked me earlier, his movements were too fast and how could he attack in the darkness like this. There's no time to think about what attacked me, the most important thing now is how I handle it"

Once again Kaito was attacked from the side very strongly. Yet it was a pity that he still remained firmly standing, and the attacks were continuously relentless.

"Damn it he kept attacking me without giving me a chance to retaliate. How is this ?"

As Kaito continued to attack, he began to hear a slight sound. Well the sound was similar to a very thin gust of wind, because that voice Kaito started to close his eyes"

"It's true that even though I can't see, my hearing still works. The key is just the sound of the wind earlier, then I should focus my sense of hearing more"

The attack stops simultaneously as Kaito removes his ball of lightning.

"It's so quiet, why there's no noise and no attack. Is it because my ball of lightning I stopped so he stopped attacking"

Kaito opened his eyes, and tried to step on his feet. But it's a pity that the attack back received Kaito when he stepped foot. Kaito who received the attack instantly fell.

"So that's it ? it wasn't the light that made him attack me, but because he wanted to block me"

Kaito began to close his eyes again, and this time he started to step his foot. Instantly the creature moves trying to attack Kaito and the lightning shield is activated. The creature let out a sound as if he was in pain crashing into a lightning shield. Kaito did not waste any time, he immediately grasped the creature that attacked him. How surprised Kaito, it turns out that the one who attacked him from earlier was a large enough bat. Kaito immediately used a black flame to burn the bat. After the bat was seen no longer rebellious and Kaito stopped his black fire.

"I guess what kind of animal it was was the big bat that attacked me, shit because it made me hungry"

Kaito ate the bat meat until it was not left. After eating, he continued his journey to the old city.
