In life, there are certain paths that we can choose. But which path do we think is right? When in front of us there are 3 roads, name the path that will be chosen. Unreasonable events that are difficult to think with logic often appear without us knowing.
One very gripping night accompanied by the sound of lightning that struck like a war drum. The fog enveloped the city and followed the strong winds.
Seen 2 vehicles speeding up quickly leaving the city streets that began to be quiet. Strong winds and thickened fog forced the two vehicles to slow down and pull over to the roadside. Bryan and Kaito decided to get off the vehicle, and both men felt something strange.
"Wah tumben this city is shrouded in fog" said Bryan looking around.
"Truely, it is not usually the city is shrouded in fog" Kaito replied pointing to the street.
"I have a bad feeling about this Bry" Kaito leaned back on his bike while looking at Bryan.
"What do you mean ?" Bryan was confused and just sat on the roadside ground.
Before Kaito could answer, suddenly they were both hit by a strong wind that hit their bodies. The wind was blowing very hard and formed a tornado that flew the 2 of them towards another world.
"Hot, is this sand ?" he said in his heart.
The half-conscious Kaito felt the heat of the sun slashing down on his body and the sand piling up enveloping his body. By the time he woke up, he was already in the middle of the desert.
"Why did I get here ? Wasn't I just on the side of the road ? Why am I suddenly in the desert" said Kaito grasping the sand and staring around.
"True, that wind blew me here. But how could such a wind blow my body into the desert ? Is this in Egypt ? Or Arab ? I don't know, I'd better get up and walk for help" Kaito said, staring around.
Kaito stood up and looked at the surroundings, he was astonished and confused which direction he was going. Without thinking, Kaito walked west hoping to get help. Along Kaito walked he only saw a vast expanse of sand. Without drinking and carrying only a pack of cigarettes, he continued walking towards the west.
His gaze seemed empty and his stomach started to feel hungry, but his steps did not stop in the least. The more he walked, the hotter the sand and the sun hit his body. He paused for a moment and decided to rest and light a cigarette.
He smoked his cigarette and looked up at the sky and spoke inwardly, "Is this free? I don't know how far I've walked but I haven't found a settlement or a water source. And also I got separated from Bryan, where is this actually ?"
Seen very clearly his eyes began to fade and sleepy, his mind began to mess up and his stomach began to wriggle asking for food.
"Ahh shit if I keep lying down, I'll just feel hungry and die in this desert"
Kaito got up and stood up again and continued his footsteps. Step by step he kept walking until the cigarette he smoked died. He continued to look straight ahead with a blank stare, and his body began not to withstand the overwhelming heat. His body began to be unable to stand up anymore, as if all of his strength had already begun to drain away.
Kaito fell down and was unable to stand anymore because his body began to relax. He looked ahead and looked around. Either luck or fate is trying to save him.
Kaito saw a stone cave wall to his right. Yes it can be estimated that the distance from the cave is quite far. But because of his strong determination even though his body was weak he still tried to stand up and walk towards the mouth of the cave. Along the way, Kaito continuously fell because his legs were unable to withstand the weight of his body. Realizing that his legs were not strong enough to support himself to stand up.
Kaito forced his hand to crawl through the sand and the hot weather towards the mouth of the cave. He continued to crawl, all he had in his brain was to get to the cave as soon as possible to get a place to rest from the heat.
As time went on, so did Kaito, who was crawling, start to approach the mouth of the cave. His hands started to look limp, his eyes started to not be strong to open. That overwhelming heat seemed to be tormenting him slowly. Not only hot, but occasionally some sand enters Kaito's mouth when crawling. Kaito continued to crawl and try to ignore the heat and sand that continued to torment him, until finally he managed to get in front of the mouth of the cave.
"ah shit! I'm not strong anymore, is this my end ! Damn hehe" Kaito muttered for a moment before he fainted in front of the mouth of the cave.
Meanwhile, Bryan continues to fly carried away by the wind and drops it into a fairly dense meadow. Bryan managed to survive the wind and his body rolled until it hit a rock in the middle of the meadow.
Bryan who had fainted from the violent impact began to slowly open his eyes. When he opened his eyes wide, Bryan felt no confidence in himself crashing down to a place that was quite wide.
"Bad shit hurts so much" while trying to sit down
"In.Where is this ? Why did I get to a place like this ? Am I dead" said Bryan, observing his surroundings.
"Hey Kaito, where are you ?" Bryan was hoping his best friend would show up.
Bryan kept shouting until his voice was almost gone, but unfortunately Kaito did not appear. Finally he realized that the tornado was blowing yes to a place he did not know.
"Sih did Kaito bounce off somewhere else? Or maybe he's dead ? Ahhh shit"
bryan's mind started to get messed up, he didn't know what to do.
Bryan kept looking at the surroundings, and he could only resignedly realize he was alone. When he was confused and resigned to the situation. Suddenly he heard the sound of footsteps swiping the leaves of the grass. He began to feel fear, and his heart began to throb very strongly. The footsteps drew closer and closer towards Bryan.
Bryan who was afraid, began to dare to look behind the stone he used for backrest. Slowly he slowly began to try to look behind the stone, and Bryan clearly saw an old man wearing a brown robe. The old man stared at Bryan, his face with a long beard, carrying a golden stick and wearing a cloth head covering. The man started to get closer towards Bryan, he continued to get closer.
Bryan who was afraid began to tremble and try to stand up, but very dear Bryan's body petrified and unable to leave the place.
The old man was standing right in front of Bryan. With a wary look the man looked at Bryan, while Bryan was frightened and could not move in the slightest. Bryan just nodded and stared at the old man. The old man's face was clearly visible with a scratch on his cheek and a tattoo on his right face.
"Hey boy" said the old man.
"Are you scared ? Until I can clearly hear your heartbeat" the old man told Bryan.
The old man opened the conversation to lower the tension between them. The frightened Bryan gradually began to try to control his fear.
The old man extended his hand towards Bryan, "Wake up boy".
Bryan grabbed the old man's hand, and he still felt a little trembling looking at the man.
"Who's your name, boy ?" said the old man while watching around.
"Na..my name is Bryan, s....Who are you p..., old man ?" bryan asked with a tremble.
"Hahaha are you really afraid of that boy ? My name is Sadi, I am the descendant of the ancient tomb keeper" said the old man laughing as he smacked Bryan's shoulder.
Bryan was confused to hear the answer from Sadi, he felt astonished by Sadi's remarks about the tomb guard.
"So you don't know huh ?" Sadi replied flatly.
Bryan just shook his head.
"I am a descendant of an ancient family of tomb guards who were in charge of guarding the tombs of the previous kings" Sadi said as he looked at Bryan.
"Ra.king ? Ma... tomurm ?" Bryan looked so confused to hear that.
"Hmm so you don't understand ?" said Sadi felt strange.
"I get it but it's confusing" said Bryan, who began to feel better.
Sadi who felt the strange gelagat from Bryan felt strange, Sadi took a drink of water and gave it to Bryan.
"Drink this water, you don't seem to be from here huh ?" sadi said suspiciously.
Bryan just nodded his head and took the water that Sadi gave him. Sadi continued to stare at Bryan, and then Sadi looked away and looked towards the sky.
"Are you not from this world Bryan ?" Tanya Sadi felt curious.
"Either ?" bryan was confused.
"So so ya haha" Sadi laughed looking at Bryan.
"Ke...why are you laughing ?" Said Bryan who was getting nervous.
"You know what ? This place is called the Mutant Field" Sadi said while pointing to the mutant carcass.
"Mutant field ?" bryan asked, still confused.
"Yes, the mutant field where mutants roam for prey" explained Sadi.
"What is mutant ?" bryan asked to know.
"They are genetic creatures that have some combination of genes" Sadi explained as a strand took the grass leaf.
"Gene savings ?" Bryan was getting more confused.
"Yes, they are fearless and always brutally murderous" Sadi said.
"De, in other words they're like wild animals so ?" bryan answered, starting to understand a little.
"Yes, but how lucky you are Bryan, you're lucky that the mutants didn't attack you" Sadi said with a smile.
"Hem yes too" Bryan began to realize the strange thing.
Sadi looked at Bryan, she saw a different aura than Bryan. Yes the black-colored aura seemed to envelop Bryan's body. Sadi who was able to see the aura felt quite interested.
"What's your class Bryan ?" ask Sadi.
"Class ? I don't understand what you mean Sadi ?" bryan was confused.
"That's it" Sadi began to feel confused with Bryan.
Sadi simply pensively kept silent and looked at Bryan. Bryan was confused by the question posed by Sadi. When they are talking.
"Roarrr" A strange voice seemed to echo in that meadow.
"What is Sadi's voice ?" ask Bryan.
"It seems like there are mutants who smell the smell of our existence" Sadi replied worriedly.
"A..what's ?" bryan asked, beginning to get scared.
"Yes he smelled the smell of our being, maybe he would walk towards us and eat us" said Sadi staring around vigilantly.
"Then we should run Sadi" said Bryan took a swing to run.
"You don't understand" said Sadi.
"What do you mean ?" bryan asked confusedly.
"There is nowhere to run when the mutants have smelled the smell of your existence" Sadi said in a flat and eerie tone.
"You mean, we can't survive ?" bryan asked, who was beginning to get annoyed.
"Yes that is, even if we run away, the mutants will continue to chase after us because our smell has been marked" explained Sadi as he stared at the mutant carcass he had killed.
"Then, what should we do Sadi ?" bryan asked confused and scared.
"There is only one option, which is to fight or we surrender and die" Sadi said with a serious expression.
Hearing Sadi's reply, as if making Bryan's body petrified. Yes if the two of them wanted to live, just fight against that mutant. But if they do not have the courage means death is waiting for Bryan and Sadi.
