Marcela waited anxiously for the seconds of Baskoro's home sale and purchase transaction. Many times he convinced his father to condition Baskoro, especially his attitude in front of the notary and Surya. Marcela doesn't want to be cheated anymore.
“Dad, speak louder to that Old Bangka. Do not let him make trouble when meeting with the notary and Surya.” Marcela reaffirmed, so that they quickly reach the goal.
“Don't worry, Baskoro doesn't have fangs anymore. You better ask your people who watch over the King and Queen in Germany, love their latest video, let him be more trusting and not dare to mess around again,” replied Asep with a hoarse voice.
Asep knew Baskoro from Nerwani. His wife tells him that he holds a grudge against Baskoro and his mother, for having humiliated him. Asep slowly enters the life of his master, since Baskoro's mother is still alive.
From working as a gardener, to later being trusted as a courier, sent to arrange the wages of workers, until Baskoro trusted him to supervise the plantation. When Baskoro married Arumi, the woman of his mother's choice, they had moved to Kalimantan, to Arumi's home region. Asep was always Baskoro's right hand man.
Apparently his match with Arumi was not long. Arumi prefers to follow the King and Queen to Germany and stay there, while Baskoro manages his business.
Now the hotel has a pinak, has many branches in almost every city. But Baskoro's life journey is not as smooth as his business trip, because now his fate is in the grip of Cecep, the assistant who has prepared for years to seize his wealth.
“Any departure? We met with Baskoro in the office of a notary who has disharelock Cecep.” Surya gave command to Devano and Zara, then the black Pajero Sport car drove towards the city of Bandung.
In the notary's office, apparently Baskoro and Asep were waiting. The notary invited them into the room. The signing process did not last long.
“I will immediately pay off the payment by check, this I have prepared. Should Pak Baskoro dilute, can not be represented.”
Baskoro nodded his head.
“Oya, yesterday I got info that Pak Baskoro plantation will also be sold? May I know how much will be sold?” ask Surya then.
“The plantation now belongs to Cecep, so can directly transact with him, Mr. Surya.”
“What a coincidence, can we talk seriously Mr Cecep?” surya asked with a radiant face.
“I mean, if it is agreed not to go back and forth, I will wait for the transaction, let's go into the notary room again.” Surya invites Cecep to enter the notary room. The two chatted until Cecep mentioned a pretty fantastic sales figure.
The opportunity was used by Devano to take Baskoro away without Asep's knowledge. They headed to the police station. Previously Surya had also provided information to his friend who served in the Bandung police. When Devano's car came out of the notary's office, the police who had worked with the notary immediately entered to arrest Asep.
“You are arrested for unlawful acts of persecution, attempted murder and confiscation of Mr. Baskoro's property. You better come with us to the police station.”
“This is slander!” asep shouted, as his hands were handcuffed by officers. He did not expect that the plan that remained one step away would end up failing. With a grinning smile, Asep shouted in front of the notary office. Someone who had been watching from a distance immediately recorded the incident.
Marcela who was waiting for news from Asep jumped in shock when she heard her phone ringing.
“Our plan did not go smoothly, your father was caught by the police.” That man was Asep's confidant. Ranto, who had been Asep's shadow in doing the action, immediately reported to Marcela.
“They must have thought they had won. Okay, I'll run plan B. Contact the best lawyer to accompany father.”
“Baskoro was taken away Devano, before the police came to the location.” Marcela smiled cynically,” so Baskoro has a helper god now. She must not have known that Devano was her son.”
“Report all developments there, lest anyone be missed. Have your men immediately secure the evidence at Baskoro's house, move quickly!” snapped Marcela. Their call was soon over.
The evidence in question is of course the dangerous drugs that Asep has injected into Baskoro's body, as well as files that could potentially be used as evidence that can still be saved.
Shortly after arriving at the police station, Baskoro felt an excruciating pain in his stomach. He does have a history of stomach disorders. With the number of nerve drugs injected Asep, making Baskoro's condition increasingly weakened.
Bruk!
Finally Baskoro fell unconscious before he could make a report to the officer.
“It is better to be taken to hospital immediately!” an officer called an ambulance immediately.
Devano drives his car, while Zara rides into the ambulance.
Baskoro immediately got first aid. Devano reported Baskoro's condition to Surya, who soon followed to the hospital as well.
Ratno who planted his spies following Devano's car finally finds out that Baskoro is now in the hospital. The man immediately contacted Marcela.
“Baskoro is in the hospital right now. I checked into the police station and pretended to be his relative. Baskoro has not had time to make a police report.”
“Good. Keep watching, once they are off guard, you can silence his mouth so as not to make it difficult for us. You know what I mean, don't you?” Marcela looked up at his face. Now the only chance to finish off Baskoro is to send his men to the hospital where the old man is being treated.
Ratno moved quickly, some of his men had already docked to the hospital and found out where the room where Baskoro was being treated was.
Asep continued to deny his actions at the police station. He insisted he did not know why until he was arrested by police officers.
“If I am not proven guilty, I will sue you. I did nothing, soon my lawyer will definitely come.” Asep kept shouting at the officer.
Soon enough, the lawyer hired by Marcela came and took care of his client.
“What basis did you hold Mr Cecep? No reports of anything against him.” The lawyer did what he was supposed to do, released his client.
“At this time there is no official complaint, because Mr. Baskoro suddenly became ill and was taken to the hospital. But you still have to we hold, unless your lawyer guarantees you will not escape.”
Asep snorted annoyed. He should not have been beguiled by Surya's deception. How could he fall asleep and leave Baskoro alone, until the old man must have asked for someone's help. “Sial! All the plans I've put together can fail!” it's in the heart.
“What? So Mr Baskoro is hospitalized? I'll see him soon, sorry he has no one else but me. It's just a misunderstanding. We will solve this problem in a family first,” he told the officer. The most important thing is that he should be able to contact Marcela and work out a new plan.
