Lexa stood up to hear her father's words. He was really astonished by his father's initial attitude.

"Dad, what do you mean son-in-law? Would you better explain to me that you parted ways with Lexa?" Crying Jerry who was also amazed by the words of his adoptive father.

"Yes, this is too fast. Well, Lexa, I'm sorry I disappeared from your life and your mother's." Alexis started the conversation.

"Sit Lexa. I'm gonna have Jim make you a drink, what do you want to drink?" Jerry gave Lexa a seat to sit in front of her father.

"What's with you pap? Why did you leave so long?" Lexa asked after Jerry came out of the library.

"I really didn't plan to do it. Everything is far beyond my power. I tricked son. Maybe Jerry told you that." Alexis stared fixedly at the only child. And Alexis started telling stories from the time he left Honolulu to the present.

He told me that Jerry was very helpful to him. Jerry really thinks of him as a father. Jerry had no parents so he raised Alexis to be his father. He also told me that all this time Jerry took care of him lovingly. He always panicked if he ran out of blood and could not find where. It feels like Jerry needs all that more than anyone else. Jerry loved Alexis as much as he did himself because of his attitude and behavior like his dead father. Alexis used the surname Atkinson to honor Jerry's father. An honor of his wasted and deceived self was lifted by the son of a good rich man like Jerry.

Lexa listens to all of Alexis's stories that lead to Jerry. Lexa felt deeply indebted to Jerry who was so good at taking care of her father. Lexa never hated her father even though she left without news because her mother always said that her father worked. His mother always praised his father. How kind and responsible his father was to his mother. Lexa is thrilled that she finally gets to meet her father who, despite her illness, still has a chance to at least take care of her.

"I've been looking for you, son! I've returned to Honolulu and found our home first. However, they say you've been taken care of by a nun. And, your mother is dead. I feel lifeless again. I just wanted to die at that time. But, Jerry again strengthened me. He said that I still have you as your mother's replacement. He promised he would help me find you and promised to always accompany me. Jerry's a really good kid." Connect Alexis.

"Why didn't you look for me?" Lexa lowered her head asking her father and she was already crying hearing all the struggles her father had lost her mother and herself.

"I've been looking for you at that orphanage but the nurse who took care of you always went out of town for a fundraiser. There are some people there who still know you but they just say you wander. That's all! And, when I asked the person who gave me the blood, Jerry said your name, I remembered and reopened the little diary I had kept for a long time. I couldn't bear the fact that my flesh and blood had left me, too. But, it turns out Jerry's the one who brought us together." Alexis slightly approached Lexa and held Lexa's hand.

In the bottom of his heart he did not want to determine the soul mate of his son, but he had seen all the goodness Jerry given to him. He's not who Jerry is, he's not his uncle, he's not jerry's childhood nanny, he's not his father's cousin, even he's not his father's friend or acquaintance, he's not his father's nanny, but Jerry thinks more of it. So, Alexis concluded surely Jerry can also be the best for his only child.

Lexa looked at the face of her father who was crying bitterly looking at her. It had been a long time since he had felt a father's cry for her.

"Alexa, I'm not too old. I can't even leave you, I still want to walk the path with you, taking the place of all our lost time together. My disease will continue to attack my body. Although he was an assistant, he showed his loyalty and respect to his superiors without compromising his confidence. He remains confident but also very kind. Jerry has to talk about all of his adoptive father's decisions for the good of all and especially for Lexa's happiness. He must also provide true understanding for Lexa so that there is no misunderstanding with the man he really loves.

After a long conversation Lexa had with her father, they ended up eating together. Lexa looks at her phone occasionally. He remembered Leon. Leon did not contact her at all. He's very upset. Finally Lexa also forgets a little about the man who has captured her heart. Lexa really didn't want to call Leon first.

Jerry no longer returns to the office, he wants to straighten out his foster father and Lexa's problems. When everyone had eaten together, Lexa took Alexis to rest because her face paled.

"Pap, get some rest, tomorrow I'll take you to check your condition!" Said Lexa sitting by Alexis' bed with a chair and patting the back of her father's hand.

"My company was here, son. I still want to see your face. You look a lot like your mother when I left her." Lexa also remembers her mother's beautiful face.

"Yes Pap, go to sleep. I'll be here!" Reply Lexa smiled.

Her father keeps looking at Lexa telling her story while working with Viena until she falls asleep. Lexa smiled at her father's already somewhat wrinkled face but remained calm. His father was glad to meet his son. Lexa then enveloped her father and moved out of the room. He exits the room and finds Jerry on the side of the upper floor buffer.

"Mr Jerry, my papa's asleep." Lexa said it made Jerry flip her body. The man smiled.

"Thank you Lexa's been with him all day. Eng, can we talk?" Take Jerry.

"Sure Mr."

"Let's go to the back garden?" Jerry invites them and they head to Jerry's mansion balcony.

Jarry and Lexa were sitting on a swing in the garden behind the house. The atmosphere of the night with the stars in the sky adds to the closeness of the two of them even though Lexa's heart is still troubled to think of Leon. Leon hasn't contacted her yet. Previously, Lexa felt always met with Jerry and they had a chance to talk and joke so Lexa was not too awkward with the man who was now staring at her.

"Lexa?" Call Jerry.

"Yes Sir?" Lexa answered, Still looking at the night sky.

"Well, I was sorry because I overheard your conversation and dad this afternoon. I'm just worried about what dad's saying might hurt you and what I'm guessing. He told me so much for me." Jerry began to explain his heart. Lexa then looked. Lexa found a stroke of sadness in Jerry's face.

"It's okay, sir, you don't be like this. No one in my heart feels hurt. In fact, I am very grateful to you for taking care of and caring for my papa like your own father. Thank you, sir, and I'm sorry that my papa bothers you. From now on I'll always be here and take care of her." Lexa said smiling very sweetly. Jerry blushed to see Lexa's soft face.

"Not to be confused. I really loved him. She was just like the one who gave birth to me. Eng, Lexa? About the matchmaking she said.." Jerry did not continue to wait for Lexa's facial response which immediately jerked and bowed his head.

"Can you just call me Jerry? Looks like you promised yesterday!" Jerry reminded me very gently.

"Not used to it yet, sir!"

"Customize, try?" Tell Jerry to smile.

"All right, Jerry." Lexa finally lifted her head.

"You're so adorable Lexa!" Praise Jerry smiling.

Lexa nodded.

"Let's take you!

"Well, tomorrow I'm going to accompany you to the hospital, Jerry." Lexa said to.

"Yes, tomorrow I'll pick you up at 7am due to the 9 o'clock checkup, daddy will also be glad you're with him. But, aren't you working?" Ask Jerry to make sure.

"I can get permission with Miss Viena."

"Oh, fine then."

Jerry drives Lexa home and tomorrow Jerry returns to pick up Lexa with Alexis.

Meanwhile, Leon is still on his way to pick up Lexa. He's a little late because yesterday all day he went with Ben and came home late. Arriving in front of Lexa's flat, she is upset because she feels Lexa has left. Lexa was gone with Jerry this morning.

"Argh, I'm late! Yes, the rabbit was fast!! Did he do it on purpose?" Gush Leon and grab his phone. He called Lexa but Lexa's phone was off.

"Is he so mad at me, isn't he? I'll just go to his office, who knows, I still have time until this afternoon to take Mr. Jeremy to Summer." Leon muttered and headed to his car.

He's headed to Lexa's office. Dion and Viena have not yet entered work and it is not a problem for them not to go to the office forever because they are owners. Arriving at Lexa's advertising office he immediately went upstairs to the room.

"Leon, why are you here? Where's Lexa?" Ask Abby who saw Leon enter the office desk area. Leon snorting. He's here to find Lexa, why Abby asked him.

And when he was about to turn towards his car, he turned his head for a moment because he knew a figure who might cross paths with him. Lexa and Jerry just arrived from the hospital.

Leon did not turn because they finally passed. Jerry smiled at Leon's pepper, whose face was already very upset waiting for Lexa. While Lexa looked at Leon a little sad but implied disappointment.

"Hay Leon, good morning! Sorry, I'm with Lexa, I- "greet Jerry, but ..

While Jerry was still there feeling bad about Leon who now looks at him in a manly way.

"Yes Leon, he seems to have to explain. Meet me!" Jerry smiled warmly at Leon.
