Shara blinked her eyes a few times, as her ears faintly heard someone's melodious voice.
"Ya Ayyuhannasu Qod Jaakum Mau’idzotun Minrobbikum Wa Syifaaulima Fissuduri, Wahudawwarohmataal Lilmuttaqin."
Shara opened her eyes for a moment, then the girl's lips also revealed a smile, as she looked at Diftha who seemed to be teaching beside the Gizta treatment bed. Shara lalo closed her eyes again, as Diftha's melodious voice continued reading verse by verse through her mobile phone.
"Shadaqallahul-'adzim." Said Diftha then as her hand rubbed Gizta's forehead. Diftha then put her phone on the nightstand and the man turned to Shara who was still looking at her in awe
That's when Shara only realized that her position was now lying on the sofa.
A moment!
Didn't Shara last night sit next to the treatment bed, or rather in the chair now occupied by Diftha.
Diftha last night....
"Wake me up when you're sleepy!"
"My voice is disturbing your sleep?" Tanya Diftha broke the silence.
Soon Shara wakes up and sits on the sofa before the girl answers Diftha's question.
"Absolutely not!"
"Your voice is sweet while reading..." Shara pointed to Diftha's phone.
"Qur'an," said Diftha quickly who immediately made Shara nod and smile.
"Yes, that!"
"Your voice was sweet," praised Shara once again. The girl stood up and walked over to Gizta's treatment bed.
"I've heard Mother Ida read like you read earlier too. But whether the content is the same or not," Shara continued a little storytelling. Diftha is just a mangosteen.
"By the way, who moved me to whose couch?" Shara asked next to switch the conversation.
"Who do you think? Gizta?" Reply Diftha who even asked back at the same time joking. The light of it instantly made Shara laugh.
"Gizta's still sleeping"
"So Gizta is awake," Diftha's sergeant interrupts and tells Shara.
"really? Why didn't you wake me?" Shara asked a little disappointed.
"You slept really well and you seem to be exhausted." Diftha sniffed both of his shoulders.
"I also will not teach if Gizta did not ask for it," said Diftha again made a confession.
"Oh, yes! I just remembered, if what you did was called teaching." Shara direct mangosteen.
"So Kia's sister used to do it a lot, especially after her parents died." Shara's changing over now.
"Who is Kia?" Tanya Diftha was curious. As Diftha recalls, Shara had mentioned that name a while back.
"My foster brother."
"Or my friend too." Shara laughed a little.
"We grew up together even though we were different." Shara's two index fingers form quotation marks.
"So Mr and Ibuk used to work as a driver and ART in Kak Kia's family. From Mister and Ibuk just got married until I was born, and I grew up with Kak-Kia"
"You're the same age?" Tanya Diftha interrupted.
"Son Kia is five years older than me." Shara answered quickly.
"That's why I called Kak" Shara added. Diftha is just a mangosteen.
"So now your sister Kia is married and living with her husband out of town?" Guess Diftha again who immediately made Shara laugh.
"You're wrong!"
"Sister Kia is not married and she is still in college outside the city," explained Shara who immediately made Diftha frown.
"Five years older than you and he's still in college?"
"Sister Kia is a doctor and happens to be now taking a neurology specialist."
"Hopefully Gizta can be handled by Kak Kia," said Shara again staring expectantly at Gizta who is now asleep.
"It will cost you nothing. Hopefully my savings can be collected as soon as possible," said Diftha who immediately made Shara pat Diftha's back.
"Let's help with the cost-issue"
"Absolutely not troublesome because to me, Gizta is also my sister," Shara stared meaningfully at Diftha.
"Loof sister." Diftha closed her eyes as she swallowed the bitter wedge that suddenly filled her throat.
"You should go home as soon as the sun comes up" Diftha said again after the man had mastered his emotions.
Shara immediately looked at her watch. It is still half five in the morning.
"Allahu akbar Allahu akbar!"
Shara was slightly stunned when she heard the voice of the Adhan from Diftha's phone.
"Sorry!" Diftha quickly turned off the adzan alarm on her phone. I also began to sound faintly and sound the Adhan on a quiet morning. Maybe the right mosque is in front of the hospital.
"You want to go to the mosque to pray? Let me take care of Gizta," Shara asked next.
"Yes!" Diftha answered while rubbing her own face several times. The man got up from his seat and picked up a bottle from the nightstand. Diftha then sipped water in the bottle until the toilet was not left.
"I'm just going to pray, and then come back"
"I'll take care of Gizta!" Cut Shara interrupts Diftha's slightly absentminded sentence. Or maybe Diftha is confused about something.
"Yes!" Diftha finally said before the man opened the door of the treatment room, then went out.
****
The clock on Shara's watch shows at six in the morning, when Shara arrives home. Soon Shara entered with a sneak, but apparently Pak Rudi and Bu Maria had immediately welcomed Shara, as soon as the girl opened the gate.
Oh...fuck!
"Where, Shara?" Tegur Bu Maria growled.
"Hospital, Buk!" Shara answered honestly while lowering her face. Yes, Shara is guilty!
"Hospital or Diftha's?" Replace Mr. Rudi who asked questions while glancing at the princess.
"Hospital, sir!"
"Gizta was suddenly short of breath and Diftha ran her to the hospital."
"Diftha was alone guarding Gizta, so Shara accompanied." Shara grimaced a bit as she explained to the father.
"In company of Diftha without saying goodbye to Father and Mother!"
"Then turn off the phone too!"
"What do you want exactly?" Ask Mr. Rudi in flames.
"Shara thinks Mr and Ibuk are still upset about last night"
"So you can just stop by because we're angry?"
"Deara! Shara!" Mr. Rudi was really furious at the princess.
"Shara's an adult and not a boy anymore, sir! What's the matter if Shara goes somewhere by herself?"
"Adult in terms of age but not in terms of mind!"
"Your mind is still like a boy and still unstable! Even your faith can falter just because of a blind love for a man you shouldn't love!" Cecar Pak Rudi at length.
"Iman Shara never wavers!" Shara's rebut is quick.
"Shara is still God's son, sir!" Said Shara again with a firm tone.
"Destrain your feelings for Diftha then!" Said Mr. Rudi ruled firmly.
"And don't forget to make a confession to God!" Miss Maria chimed in.
"I'm not sure you haven't done it last night" Ms. Maria said.
"Let him do it in the church later," broke Mr. Rudi quickly who immediately made Shara agape. Both of Shara's parents have also passed into the terrace, leaving Shara who is now just sculpting.
