Chapter 30: Getting lost!
King's hotel? Restaurant owner? Owner of delivery service?
Jordan wants to subvert and annihilate the big boss that has dominated Orlando for years in one fell swoop!
Among them, Tyler was the first to come to Jordan's mind!
As soon as he thought of Tyler, Jordan recalled everything his ex-wife had, Hailey said.
“See Tyler. His family is worth more than a billion dollars. Can you compare it to him, you are useless?”
Jordan bowed gently and asked Victoria, "I heard that the Collins family is a first-rate family in Orlando worth over a billion dollars?"
Victoria replied, “You could say so. They were worth more than a billion dollars two years ago, but their net worth has shrunk considerably, now they may be worth around 500 million dollars. They're not much better than Camdens now.”
Given that Jordan claimed that Hailey had an affair with Tyler during yesterday's birthday banquet, Victoria immediately went on.
“Hailey Camden must be blind to have chosen that useless Tyler Collins over you! As soon as he finds out your true identity, I'm afraid he'll be full of regrets.”
The thought of Hailey Camden made Jordan feel a little bitter. After all, he had loved her for three years!
Victoria continued, “The Camdens are working on a project lately, and they want us to invest 11 million dollars in it. They offer a lot of advantages to Me, but I will turn them down now and ask them to forget about working with Ace Corporation!”
Victoria originally wanted to make the cooperation happen, but she knew Jordan had a bad relationship with Camdens. Since he used to be the son-in-law living in Camdens, whom they had expelled after, how could he possibly cooperate with them?
To his surprise, Jordan said, "You made up some lies about me yesterday, but there's one thing you're right about."
“I separate work and personal life. So I'm not going to boycott Camdens in business just because of my personal relationship with them.”
"Show me the project proposal."
Victoria was a little surprised, and she thought that Jordan did have a moral character.
"Yes, I'll bring it to you now." Victoria turned and left.
“Forget it, I'll go with you and at the same time check your office. I'd like to see if the office of a beautiful woman like you is full of fragrances.”
Jordan got up from his chair and followed Victoria.
Meanwhile, Tyler was still waiting anxiously in the first-floor lobby. He hasn't left yet.
He wanted to go up and see what happened, but he couldn't do it without an access card.
"Hey, Mr. Collins."
An Ace Corporation female employee suddenly took the initiative to walk up to Tyler.
Tyler looked at her, but he didn't recognize who she was.
The woman laughed and said, “Master. Collins, surely you didn't forget who I was, did you? That's very sad. You bought me a drink at LINX Bar the other day. After that, we went to.. You had fun with me all night.”
It was only then that Tyler remembered that he had a one-night relationship with her before.
The poor girl's mediocre appearance and tacky makeup made Tyler feel like Hailey was hundreds of levels higher than him.
However, Tyler kept smiling and asked, “Oh, yes, I remember. Do you work at Ace Corporation?”
The woman nodded.
Tyler grabbed his hand and said, “Quick, take me upstairs. Your vice president Miss Clarke is in danger!”
A minute later, Tyker arrived on the floor where Jordan was.
As soon as he got out of the elevator, he heard some of Ace Corporation's female employees whispering amongst themselves.
“Hey, you know? He knelt down right after he saw the president! Do you believe that? He knelt down as soon as he saw her! ”
Tyler doesn't know what they're talking about, but he also doesn't care about Ace Corporation's gossip.
Therefore, he simply walked up to them and asked, "May I ask, where is Miss Victoria Clarke?"
The person she asked was Ashley, Victoria's secretary. “Nona Clarke is in her office. Do you have an appointment?”
Tyler ignored her and immediately ran to Victoria's office.
As soon as he pushed the door, he discovered that Jordan was also in Victoria's office!
It just so happened that Victoria had found the Camdens project proposal and handed it to Jordan.
However, in Tyler's eyes, he looked like he was giving an assignment to his assistant.
“Tyler? Who let you in?” Victoria rebuked angrily.
Since Tyler is Jordan's rival, Victoria shouldn't get too close to him and his family from now on!
Tyler did not answer his question and instead pointed to Jordan. “Wow, Jordan, you shameful thief! Sure enough, you're here! Are you hiding here to prepare for revenge against Miss Clarke!?! ”
Jordan replied, “Is there something wrong with you? Is this a place you can enter as you please? Scram!"
Jordan is the president of Ace Corporation and the owner of this building. How could he let Tyler act bravely and presumptuously here!?!
When Tyler saw how arrogant Jordan was, he snapped furiously, “How dare you talk to me like that. This is Victoria's office. You have to be the one who gets lost! Isn't that right, Viktoria?”
Hit it!
Victoria slaps Tyler in the face and scolds him desperately, “Who are you calling Victoria? Call me Miss Clarke!”
Tyler looked very embarrassed, and Ashley's laughter could be heard from outside.
Tyler slowly felt that something was wrong with the situation. It seems everyone is aware that Jordan is in Victoria's office.
But why didn't Ashley and the others stop him?
After thinking about it, Tyler suddenly pointed towards Jordan and shouted, “I see! You are not here to take revenge on Miss Clarke but to be her bodyguard!”
