Chapter 20: Jordan Is A Thief!

Tyler and Hailey are all dumbfounded.

They never thought that the daughter-in-law they left behind could actually stay in a five-star hotel!

It costs over 1,000 dollars a night!

Tyler asked, “Hailey, are you sure he only has a few hundred dollars? Has he been secretly hiding money behind you for the past three years?

Hailey shook her head and said, "I'm not sure .. maybe she did."

Tyler pursed his lips and said, “Jordan is quite brave. I said that he could forget about staying in any hotel that was four star down, however, this guy paid so much to check in at a five star hotel! ”

Tyler thinks Jordan is afraid of his powers and hence, bears the brunt of it and checks in to a five-star hotel.

Little did he know that Jordan had always only stayed in five-star hotels.

Hailey asked, "Do you have any way to make her unable to continue living here?"

Placed somewhere, Tyler said, "That's kind of a hassle."

The owners of the five-star hotel are all big bosses Tyler can't afford to provoke. In addition, reputation is important for five-star hotels.

Regardless of his status and connections, Tyler would not be able to handle the consequences if the public learned that a West Lake Hotel guest was evicted because of him.

Feeling a little embarrassed and guilty, Tyler whispered, “Why don't we let him stay here for one night? Even if he had a secret stash of savings, he could at least afford to stay for just one night. ”

Hailey is obviously a little unhappy because just now, Tyler confidently stated that he would make Jordan sleep on the streets, but now there is nothing he can do for Jordan.

Seeing Hailey angry, Tyler became a little anxious and stared at the service staff.

"Did Jordan stay here for one night?"

The front desk officer had just finished processing Jordan's check-in administrative procedures. Hence, there was no need for him to check at all.

He just replied, “Master. Jordan has paid to stay for seven nights.”

“Seven nights?” Tyler was a little surprised. “Punk is pretty non-stop. Each night costs about 1,000 dollars, and seven nights will cost 7,000 dollars. Hailey, she has saved quite a lot of money in her secret stash!”

Hailey was so angry that she stomped her feet and exclaimed dissatisfiedly, “She must have sucked some of the money that would be used for groceries, dog food, and daily necessities. He's so greedy!”

The Camden family is a second-rate wealthy family in Orlando with a high cost of living. Jordan usually does the shopping.

'The cost for a week is 70,000 dollars!'

The beautiful maid nodded and said shyly, "Yes, she even gave me a 1,000 dollar tip …"

After hearing her words and seeing how beautiful the front desk attendant was, Hailey suddenly felt jealous.

He reprimanded angrily, “Who said you could accept his tip!?! That's my family's money!”

Tyler didn't want Hailey to make a fuss at a five-star hotel, so he pulled her aside and said,

“Hailey, don't bother about tips for now. Where did he get so much money? It is impossible to earn 70,000 dollars by pocketing some of the money meant for daily necessities and groceries over the past three years.”

After thinking about it, Hailey felt that she made sense. Although the Camden family had given him a monthly allowance, they would not add up to that much after three years.

Hailey suddenly thought of something as she pondered. In a concerned tone, she asked, “She often goes to my grandmother's house and takes care of her dog. He has a lot of antiques at home. Could it be that he stole one or two and sold them?”

Tyler knew how powerful Old Madam Camden was and was aware that she would receive many expensive gifts on her birthday every year.

The gifts were enough to form a huge pile in the house.

Jordan only needed to steal one or two pieces, and he could sell them for a hundred or two thousand dollars.

Tyler exclaimed, "This must be the case, immediately tell your family and ask them to check if something is missing!"

"Yes!"

Hailey frantically picks up her phone and calls her mother, Sylvie.

Jordan and Hailey had been gone for over forty minutes, and the guests at the birthday banquet were all full and drunk to the satisfaction.
