I looked up at the yellow helmeted man who seemed to be putting a light on the ceiling of my house. I could see Mama who was so very happy when the electricity could be used.

I ran out looking at some of the people who seemed to be eating the lights on an electric pole. There are so many wires installed stretching from different directions. The cable is black. There were so many laid on a fairly high iron pole. It took me days to build that tall pole.

It feels like I am very happy, soon your village will also be as bright as what we all imagine when thinking about the city.

Some of the men in yellow color stepped out of the house, not only my house with lights but all the houses of the villagers in Swatani village.

Change, our village is changing. Already there are signals and networks in our village there is also the help of electricity until finally the sound of shouting is heard from the man who uses a helmet, he said, the friend of the yellow helmeted man who had been marketing the lights inside my house.

He put the phone in his ear and screamed.

"Are you ready?!!"

"Yes, it's ready!!!" his yell.

He then turned to look at his friends who had just come down from the homes of other residents.

"Are you ready?!!"

"Ready!!!" his yell.

The sound of screaming everywhere was heard giving instructions if the lights were ready to be turned on until the end.

"Yes turn on! One! Two! Three!"

Somehow the lamp that had no light was now illuminated emitting such a beautiful light. My village is now shining makes me shout cheer happy as well as my other friends who are equally happy.

I ran inside the house and looked up at the bright lights when they were on. The stuff in my house is so clearly visible.

Similar to the sun, this white light illuminated my room and then not long after I also ran into the house staring at the lights that lit up and illuminated my room room. It feels so very happy. I opened the window door and then I looked at the neighboring houses that also lit the lights.

It feels so very happy, never imagined if this village finally gets free electricity. Light lights everywhere even as I step my feet for prayer. Our bodies are no longer afraid and there is no need to use torches when walking our feet to the mosque because each of our streets is illuminated by the light of the lamp standing on the side of the road.

As it was before dawn prayers, I Jono, Samal, Leha and Mansur flocked to the mosque. When we arrived we cried out happily when we saw the mosque that was always dark was now illuminated with lights big enough, even the sound of the prayer ringing was so big and booming.

We were also amazed when we saw the results of the construction of the ablution water place that has been completed. We just twist the clams so that water flows from the clams. We do not have to bother to take ablution water in the trench beside the rice field whose water comes from the river.

"Look at our village now has become cool," said Samal who is so proud of our village.

"Now Leha is not afraid to sleep alone, either" Leha told us as we walked home after prayers.

"True, just look at the lights that light up! So very beautiful" said Jono.

"See also the houses on our hill that light up and shine so beautifully!" pointing Leha made me and the friends who looked up at the part of the hills.

That's where we live

"It's cool, yeah. Fortunately, there is help if it is not possible that our village will be left behind once" I commented.

"This is called the sophistication of technology," said Mansur who stepped back.

"Well, apparently the technology is growing very rapidly and provides many benefits for us."

"There is also nothing" said Masnur again.

My eyebrows are intertwined, not understanding what Mansur said.

"What do you mean?"

"Yes aside from the good and technology it gives there are also destructive vices."

"Destructive? What's that ruining?"

"All these technologies do not always do good but there is also a little bad. It depends on the person how that person responds to the development of technology."

"If we react to it well then good also the result but if we react poorly then the bad we get," explained Mansur who then continued his steps to leave us all who are now silent.

We don't understand what Mansur said. The ugliness of technology. What would happen if the technology was bad for all of us?
