POV Hera's
Today was so tiring, the article has been three days now I have to do homework and care for Mas Rahman who is sick mad. The doctor said he was healed.
But, I don't know! I often get scared if she relapses again. I can't imagine if he relapses, then goes berserk.
"Herah!" The scream re-echoed when I just laid a bone sitting on the sofa.
"Huff .. let alone want!" my grunt was upset, this footless still stepped towards the voice even though the heart grumbled.
"Yes, Mas. What's up?" I put on a face as gentle as possible with the curvature of a sweet lip.
"This time I want to eat raw rice!"
"So early this morning I've cooked meat soto, it's not over either."
"But I want rawon rice!" mas Rahman shouted as he kicked down the dining table nearby.
"Yes, I'll make it. I have to shop for the spice."
"No want! Your cooking is not good! I want you to buy it at Mak Bawon's raw food stall!"
Duh, why is Mas Rahman like a little gini boy, huh? It is very different from the old Rahman. Is his brain still short?
"Hera! Even nalamun!" Back the scream that accompanied the table buzz shocked me.
"Yes, yes .. I'll buy it."
"Remember, yes, here you are nothing more than a maid! So, you have to follow what I say."
The deg!
Mas Rahman's words were so deep, too deep to penetrate the heart. How could he think like that?
"What's not going back, Mom? Here is the one who lives. Niko is my son, not your son. While all your living expenses are Niko. Remember, Niko is my son!"
"Hohoho .. have you forgotten, Hera? Looks like you forgot the agreement letter you made with Niko."
"Yes, I remember. I can stay here and take care of you."
"That means you're just a maid in charge of taking care of me." The cynical smile returned, he continued to sneer.
I exhaled an annoyed breath. I draw as much oxygen as possible to eliminate the feeling of coxiness that stifles the heart. If it wasn't for the need for shelter and a good life, there was no way I'd be nice to that crazy guy.
"Why? Want irritated?" Challenge that old bitch.
"No!" my ketus.
"Related?" Mas Rahman squinted his eyes as if mocking me.
"Yes, sure!" I said in a high tone.
"It's not getting irritated but I'm talking about it with a stick."
"Oh Allah, Mas ..What do you want, anyway?" I've started not to stand the adorable act, I want to slap his old face.
"Eh, tumben remember God? You're starting to realize, aren't you? Did you get any guidance?" He kept sneering at me with a look full of ridicule.
I violently stomped my feet, turned around and left the old man.
"Don't forget, raw rice is bought at Mak Bawon's food stall!" I ignored her screams again, my feet kept stepping towards the room and slamming the door hard as an outpouring of emotion I had to endure.
The man has changed drastically. His face used to be so clean charismatic, but now looks dirty with irregular bewok. Why doesn't he clean up when he's normal? Why is he still such a crazy person?
It felt like I wanted to get him out of my life, but my memory goes back to the very damning letter of agreement for me. There are three conditions that I must fulfill in the agreement letter.
First, I need to change my appearance. All of my open clothes had to be thrown away. Too bad expensive clothes should I let go of being trash.
The third condition more makes me almost lose my heartbeat. How not, the condition is to accept back Mas Rahman and want to take care of him.
I don't know what Niko was thinking when she made the letter. Why take care of the old, crazy Rahman?
Even crazier, there's a threat in it. If anything happens with Mas Rahman, then I am the one who has to take responsibility for all the mistakes that have happened. I have to be willing to leave the house or even if I need to be prosecuted through the law.
Niko is absolutely outrageous. I'm sure Bobby and his parents poisoned my son's brain to the heart of his own mother. Look at it later, if I have a chance you guys will I reply.
My grudge against Bobby and his family is getting even more passionate when I think of it all. They use Niko to repay past heartache.
Right now, I can only accept and follow the rules given by Niko. Being a maid in his own child's house, while Mas Rahman who is only a former stepfather actually occupies a position that should be mine.
Throwing the body into a soft mattress and drowning in a dream I think will eliminate this fatigue. I closed my eyelids, let the imagination loose into the imaginary realm.
"Herah!" I was stunned when that loud voice came back. This time with a doorway.
"Gosh .. What else does he want?" My lips were already steamy, I was almost ready to explore the imaginary world, even the crazy old man again disturbed.
I got up and opened the door. "What, Mas? I'm tired, I want to take a break."
"I want three-flavored ice cream. Buy it now at the supermarket!"
"Haduuh .. kayak a child, anyway, Mas."
"Is ice cream only for kids?"
"Yes, no."
"Then go and buy it. Arini's gonna be here in the afternoon, so I'm gonna have some ice cream with my favorite kid."
"Will we come here?" My forehead folded hearing his words. Why would that bastard come to this house?
"Yes, he's my son. So, he's entitled to come here."
"But this is my son's house!" My emotions can no longer be contained.
"You angry? That's see, there's a CCTV camera that records all your attitudes." Its index points towards a round, stemmed object attached to the upper corner of the room.
I looked back, trying to suppress the anger that almost penetrated the fortress.
"Yes, I'll buy all the way to buy raw rice. Now let me take a break." I softened my voice and begged for his understanding.
"It's over eleven o'clock, why not now? It's lunchtime soon."
Jeez naga ... it's really, really upsetting this crazy guy. Her short-brain can drive me crazy for a long time.
"No need to clench your hands. Want to kick a fist?"
"Ciiihi! Why are you so annoying now?"
"Who?"
"You!" I screamed, I don't care about the cameras that were recording. I really can't take it anymore.
"What sucks? I just asked for ice cream and raw rice for my lunch. Isn't it your responsibility to obey all my wishes?"
"I'm forced! If it wasn't for the sake of a comfortable life, I would never be close to you!"
"Oh, so for the sake of a comfortable life you are willing to take care of me." Mas Rahman casually stroked his brew.
"Niko, you've heard, haven't you, your mother's words?" He said he was facing the CCTV camera.
Duh, wear keceplosan anyway. There will be new problems, yes! Rather than fuss over his business, mending I grab a wallet and go buy ice cream and raw rice at the mad boss's request.
The matter of my words earlier, I will think about the reason while walking. Hopefully Niko can understand me who is still learning to change myself. Learning to change by being forced is hard, as hard as accepting the fact that the Danu I want is my son-in-law.
