Chapter 12

"I've been trying all along so that we can be together soon. But all my efforts have been to make us part."

Tantra released her embrace from Shita's body.

"In vain, my hope is gone. My life spirit is gone."

Tantra lowered her head and rested on her two hands.

"Don't you want to know why I left my medical profession? Why don't you ask me ?" Although spoken with subtlety, but full of emphasis.

"Mas, I've made up my mind! Whatever reason I know later, can't change my decision! I already accepted Dito's proposal." Masyita answered slowly but firmly.

"Why did you accept his proposal? Because I'm not a doctor?" Again Tantra asked.

Syita nodded her mark of justification. "In addition, Dito has sacrificed a lot for me. He left his job to accompany me in my difficult times."

"Well, that's my difference with him. I'm looking for a job for you. And he left his job for you." Tantra covered her face with both of her palms.

"Mas.." Syita rubbed Tantra's back.

"Do you love her ?" Tantra then looked at Shita's face intensely.

"I'll try! Because I know, Dito is a good man."

"If I ever find out he hurt you, I'll take you back from him. For whenever I will still love you!"

Tantra then moved from her seat. He left without saying goodbye to Shita or her mother.

Withstanding the intense stifling feeling in his chest, Tantra walked out of the house.

Alone in the car, he drove the car cautiously despite his emotions. Because he realized the car he was driving was Rania's. Oa had to return the car intact to its owner.

Now the car has reached the yard of Rania's house.

Seeing Tantra's arrival, Rania directly descended from her room on the second floor and went out to meet Tantra. He prepared to congratulate Tantra. Because of what Rania knows, today Tantra proposed to Masyita.

Tantra got up, took off her seatbelt and got off the car. Standing in front of her with puffy eyes and a sad looking face. 

"What's Tra?" Ask Rania.

Tantra grabbed Rania's palm. He put the chirp in the middle, then he closed Rania's palm.

"There is already a ring that is embedded in Syita. I'm late!" Tantra then placed her head on Rania's shoulder. Tantra lowered her head as if she wanted to drop the weight of her mind.

Rania is still confused, not knowing what Tantra means.

"Masyita accepted Dito's proposal! She's gonna be Dito's wife! I lost Ra! I'm ruined!"

Unbelieving what she had heard, Rania slowly digested Tantra's words and saw the ring on her hand.

Rania patted Tantra's back slowly while rubbing it. He hugged Tantra to calm her down.

There was a bit of a happy feeling in Rania's heart. Because this incident means there is a chance for him to be with Tantra. Although he was aware of how difficult it was to shift the name of Masyita in Tantra's heart.

But if you remember all the sacrifices and sincerity that Tantra has done, Rania is very compassionate to him. Like being able to feel the pain and destruction of Tantra's life.

Finished from Rania's house, Tantra went straight home.

"Assalamualaik." Tantra stepped into the house

Not yet able to answer his greetings, Tantra went straight into his room without caring about anything even anyone around him.

Mother who felt strange with her son's attitude then approached to Tantra's room. Mother knocked on the door of the room that had been locked. There is no confirmation from the room owner.

Mother decided to call Rania. Asking the cause of his son's sudden attitude looks desperate.

Rania then recounted what Tantra had experienced. Unknowingly, her tears dripped down her cheeks.

Rania accepts mother's request. Not only for Tantra but also to fight for her love.

It's been a few days Tantra was alone in the room. He did not enter work and did not even ask permission or give any information to the company.

Every day Rania visits to entertain and encourage Tantra. But all felt in vain because Tantra did not budge from its place.

Tantra is still in its solitude. Feeling comfortable just by looking up at the sky of his room as if he no longer cared about his future, especially his career.

His job he just let it go. And that worries Emma. Tantra has been absent for 3 days without explanation. The phone call from Emma was not answered.

Constantly worried, Emma decides to find Tantra's home address. Intending to visit the residence of his heart.

Arriving at the Tantra house, he was immediately greeted by the mother. Emma then introduces herself and explains that she is Tantra's superior at work.

Mother let Emma come in and sit in the living room.

Emma immediately asked Tantra why she was absent for a few days without any news.

Mother is still worried to tell the condition of her son. The woman in front of him knew him. It is appropriate that he should tell his son's problems.

Emma assures mom that this act of Tantra will have a bad effect on her career. Though the performance of Tantra is considered satisfactory.

Still hesitant but mom decided to tell Emma the Tantra problem. About his son who lost the spirit of his life because of the breakdown of relations with his lover.

"Mashyta?" Emma was very surprised to hear Mother's explanation.

"Well, does Emma know about Masyita?" Ask mother.

Emma showed a grieving face as if sympathetic to Tantric conditions. But not with his heart.

It was as if there were petals blooming in his heart.his chance to get Tantric heart seemed to be wide open.

He asked her permission to meet Tantra. But until the call repeatedly on the doorstep of his room, Tantra did not answer his call either.

Emma eventually leaves Tantra's house to return to the office. Today it was like he had a new spirit in his life.

After hearing Emma's car sound away from the house, Tantra just came out of her room to go to the bathroom.

That's how it is every day. Tantra just went out of the room for a while to go to the bathroom or take a drink. As for eating, the mother who drove him to the room.

Mother who saw her son had entered the room again, then approached. He saw the door to Tantra's room open slightly. Mother enters and sits on the side of the bed. 

Mother gently caressed her son's shoulder. "Son, don't be like this. Mother understands what you feel. But life must go on, son. No matter how bitter to live."

"Mother, my dream is ruined." Tantra put her head on your lap. This time her tears fell on her mother's lap.

"All in vain. Why don't I become Masyita's mate?"

"Son, that soul mate was written even before we were born in the world, and everything in this world has a time limit. So is the soul mate."

"Mother is also destined to mate with your father. But we were not meant to be together until old age. Your father went home first. Whatever the reality is, we have to keep going."

"We don't know who we're dating, and we don't know until when we're with our soul mate. Humans are only assigned to live life as well as possible. If one of your dreams is gone, chase the other one."

Tantra listens to every mother's speech. Plunged into his mind so that he could rise from this fall.

Mother's prayers continue to be offered to her beloved son. Until one morning, the prayer seemed to be answered with the arrival of Rania.
