This morning the Singapore sky was dim. Not because it is covered in cloud. But because of Masyita's bad mood.
He had to swallow a bitter taste when he found out he had been lied to by the man he loved so much.
Masyita currently holds a list of medical graduates who take a professional education or often called koas.
As promised, Prof. Wondo now visits Syita with a draft to prove his point. And of course, the name Tantra is not listed in the draft.
"If all this hard work he has been fighting for is willing to leave him, how does he stay strong with you son ?" Profs. Wondo walked closer to the body of his daughter who was still downcast and sobbing.
Again, for the umpteenth time Masyita cried. Regretting all the decisions in his life. His trust in Tantra began to crumble. One lie that was revealed seemed to justify all the evidence he received. Including photos of Tantra's relationship with Rania, and also women he did not know.
"Has Tantra really changed ? Is that how quickly he gave up?"
Syita was immersed in her chaotic thoughts. "I love him so much Pa." Syita's voice was so hoarse because her cry was still as unwilling.
"Son, Papa knows what your story is with him. Papa understands how you feel about him. But you have to keep thinking sane, son. Why do you keep it if there is a man who is very sincere in love with you and willing to wait for you."
Prof Wondo and his daughter are on the balcony. He did not want the conversation with his daughter to be heard by Dito who was in the living room.
Unknowingly, Dito observed the two of them from the living room. The balcony and living room are limited by glass to add lighting and air circulation in the apartment.
I don't know what they're talking about. Dito couldn't hear their conversation. But his heart felt slashed to see the woman he loved so much to cry bitterly like holding back pain. He wanted to approach Shita and embrace her. Can't bear to see Syita so tormented.
Profs. Wondo did ask Dito for time to talk alone with his daughter. So Dito did not dare to go to the balcony approaching Syita. He waited until their conversation was over.
Profs. Wondo clasped his daughter's palm. "Papa just wants to see you happy with the man who loves you so much son."
He looked into his daughter's eyes. "Sober son, accept the reality. The man who is always there for you is not Tantra. All your dreams with him are just a dream. The reality is now that there is a man who is always loyal waiting for you and accompany you."
Profs. Wondo turned his gaze towards Dito. Syita also understood the man her father meant.
"Pa, we're both friends. Dito just thinks I'm a friend." Syita took off her papa's hand and wiped away the tears that had dripped on her cheek.
"You consider him a friend, not him! Can't you realize it after what you did for you, son?"
Papa Syita turned to the chair next to her daughter. "It doesn't matter how much money he has spent on your treatment, son. But do you know, he's willing to leave his job to keep you here."
Profs. Wondo took a deep breath. "Even Papa hasn't been able to sacrifice like that for my own daughter." Profs. Wondo said as he stared pushyly at the sky in front of him.
"Didn't you promise me that if you manage to show me the evidence about Tantra, you will accept the truth?" Profs. Wondo then approached his daughter again while stroking her daughter's palm.
"Wish you made the right decision, son." Profs. Wondo walked into the living room. Leaving her daughter alone to reflect before making any important decisions in her life.
Profs. Wondo approached Dito who was still waiting for them to finish.
"Om, what's going on ? why is Masyita so sad ?"
Not answering Dito's question, Prof. Wondo smiled at him and patted Dito on the shoulder. "Impress son, come up to him so he can calm down."
Dito who had been very worried about the condition of Syita, rushed to him.
Dito knelt in front of Syita who was still sitting in her wheelchair.
"Why Ta? What's the matter? Does your leg hurt?" A series of questions that had been in Dito's mind had shot out of his mouth.
Masyita was just silent, staring fixedly at Dito's face.trying to find the truth in Dito's eyes.
"really ?" only that one word came out of Masyita's mouth. The word further added to Dito's confusion.
He really did not understand which direction Masyita spoke this time.
"Is that how you love me?" Syita looked at Dito's eyes.
deg!
Dito sculpted instantly. He was very surprised by that question. He had not prepared his mentality for this before. To express his feelings for Masyita.
Dito still hesitantly revealed his heart. He was afraid of the woman he loved so much and rejected her and felt uncomfortable around her.
He was afraid that Masyita would stop her treatment. Moreover, he was afraid of losing Masyita.
Dito just lowered his head. Staring to the floor to avoid Masyita's gaze.
"Dito?" Syita tries to capture Dito's view by calling him.
Dito also raised his head that had been bowed. His hands held the palms of Syita who grasped the handle of a wheelchair.
"if I tell you the truth, promise me you won't leave me?"
Masyita nodded her head slowly.
"I do love you Ma-Syi-Ta Anindya!"
Still with his own eyes Masyita asked, "When?"
"Eitherway. Long time ago. I only realized it when my heart ached to see you accept Tantric love. And from then on it was as if there was no room in my heart for anyone but you."
Dito lowered his head again.
"But I realized Ta, your heart is only for Tantra. I don't want to force you. So please don't avoid me after you know all my feelings for you."
"Is that feeling still the same? You still love me? With my condition as it is now? Do you still want to be with me ?" Syita asked without taking her eyes off Dito.
Dito nodded. "I'll try to make you love me if you're willing to try to open your heart to you Ta." Dito returned Shita's eyes in seriousness.
Without waiting for Syita's answer, Dito pushed Syita's wheelchair very carefully into the living room. He left Shita there with his mother and father.
Dito went upstairs to go into his room and grabbed something from his bag.
Dito then approached Syita. Kneel in front of him. He placed an object in his palm that he stretched right in front of Shita's face.
"Masyita Anindya, will you accept my love and be my wife?"
Shita and her mother were very surprised by this incident. Didn't expect Dito to have prepared a ring to propose to her.
While Papa Syita smiled proudly. He had thought that Dito would not waste the opportunity to get his daughter.
Well, Dito had intended long ago to propose Syita. He was just waiting for the right time to declare it, so that Shita would open her heart to him.
And the right time is now.
Masyita stared at the ring on Dito's hand. His head reflexes nodded, as if moving without him noticing.
Nudge the head of Syita a sign of approval from him. He accepted Dito's proposal and wanted to be his wife.
"Patience, I will try to open my heart to you."
Dito immediately grabbed Syita's body, hugging her tightly.
Although confused, Mama Syita is also happy to know that her only daughter has been proposed and will soon be married.
