It was a Sunday, a good day to rest or enjoy a lot of free time. But that doesn't apply to Ben. He was working in his room, but Clarie was accompanying him. Ben asks Clarie to accompany him, so he can keep an eye on the girl.
Clarie's chin was placed on top of her palm, her eyes constantly looking towards Ben. It's better for him to push his phone than to look at the man's face. However, what is okay because Ben forbids Clarie to bring a cell phone into his room. "Sunday is not at all suitable for work" Clarie said.
Ben did not comment in the slightest on what Clarie had just said. He wanted to finish his job today, then take care of something else. "Ben, usually you will respond to my words. Why not now?"
"Silence, I'm at work,"
"If I'm interrupting, you shouldn't have asked me to be here,"
"We'll talk about it later,"
Clarie smiled obliquely at Ben's reply. Really want to hit him. The girl buried her face and closed her eyes, the most likely thing to do right now was to sleep. He does not want to die of boredom because of waiting for Ben to finish the work that piled up.
A few hours later, Ben took care of his desk. The work that he had delayed was done, the new work came as well. He glanced at Clarie's place, the girl was sleeping. "Basic fool,"
"You call me a fool? Hoam...You're so mean, when the free time I have is mostly drained by you, Ben," Clarie stretched her muscles, then yawned. Apparently the drowsiness has not disappeared.
"Who do you sleep with next time don't sleep in any place. Especially in front of men, you understand, right?"
"Hahaha, the little boy also understands this Ben. Oh yeah, Wednesday, let's go to a party. It just so happens that someone is taking us,"
Ben raised one eyebrow. "Who? Leon?"
"No, Renata and Dean. Well, because Wednesday is a pretty precious day. Renata's birthday, and I thought they'd throw that party like they were having a..well you know?"
"Don't express yourself like that, there we are. And you don't have to bear all the burdens alone" Ben said, trying to cheer up.
"Okay, thank you. Your job is done, right? Then I can get out of here, Grandma is waiting. There was something she wanted to talk about," Clarie stood up and walked away. But he stopped, then walked closer. He hugged Ben and peeked at the man's cheeks briefly. "Thank you, you're such a good friend,"
......................
Clarie goes into Ben's grandmother's room, rarely is she called by that grandmother. After closing the door, he sat down on a chair near the bed. "What did Grandma call me? Rarely do you call me,"
Aleeza, who had been busy flipping the sheets of paper, turned his eyes to Clarie. "Still remember, right? August 28th, but I think it's too long,"
"What does it mean for too long?"
"I'm going to move it forward, how about two more months?"
"Grandmother, why did you decide? Tell me directly, I'm confused as to what you mean,"
"I'm asking you to marry Ben, and there's no rejection,"
"But..."
"I told you there was no rejection,"
