Suddenly Married!

Cousin Edgar

This morning, Edgar decided to go home and thanked the Florence family for allowing him to stay the night.

Thanks to that, Edgar learned of Anna's reason for continuing to avoid him, and of course now he did not have to worry about Anna's attitude in the future, because he had solved his problem last night.

Anna heard the noise outside the house. Out of curiosity, he saw what was happening through the window of his room. It turned out that there was a new resident who moved into the house next to him.

While Anna was peering through the window, a young man came out of the house and caught Anna, forcing Anna to close the curtains tightly.

Cellphone's ringing. Anna took her cell phone which she put on the table.

He saw the name on his phone screen ringing. Grace. With a touch of her thumb, Anna shifted the green phone icon to answer.

“Hello, Anna? Are you still mad?” ask Grace over the phone.

Anna simply flinched at Grace's voice, while Grace sighed and apologized to Anna sincerely.

“Sorry, Anna. The incident at the cafe was my fault. I invited those men. I intend to match you with one of the brand-“

“I understand, Grace. You just don't want to see me single for life so you do that" Anna quickly cut.

“I'm angry with you not because you brought those men, but because you didn't speak honestly to me about your intentions, Grace.”

Anna and Grace have been friends since Junior High. Grace was her best friend when Anna came as a transfer student at her school. That's when they were close.

Although Anna has just moved in, Anna is very popular at school because of her beautiful face. However, Anna did not notice it.

Many men wanted to express love for Anna, but they abandoned their intentions in fear of rejection. That's why Anna has never dated and is still alone.

“Alright, next time I'll arrange a blind date for you. Mmm .. of course with your permission,” said Grace began to be excited.

“Thank you, Grace. But I don't think it's necessary.”

Anna appreciates Grace's good intentions, but she must reject them given that she already has Edgar.

“Why? Do you have a boyfriend?”

A lover? Anna immediately imagined Edgar's face and made him feel embarrassed.

“A-what? Nah! Sorry Grace, it looks like Mom called me, bye.”

Anna hung up her phone unilaterally and deliberately threw her body onto the soft bed.

Eyelids began to cover her beautiful eyes. However, just seconds after Anna closed her eyes, her house bell rang.

Anna deliberately did not care about it, besides there were her parents who would definitely open the door.

However, as soon as she remembered that her parents were going outside, Anna opened her eyes.

Anna then thought again, her sister will definitely open the door. Therefore, Anna did not need to bother going down and better return to lazing.

When Anna was about to close her eyes again, the sound of the house bell kept ringing nonstop to make Anna upset and forced to get out of bed.

Opening the door of the house, Anna saw a man carrying a box of cookies in his hand.

“Sorry if it interferes,” the man said.

It's disturbing. However, due to his handsome face, I will forgive him this time! think Anna.

“It so happens that today I moved to the house next door, I intend to distribute a little food to the neighbors. So, accept.”

Anna received the box of cookies and smiled. Yes, at least he should be friendly towards the new neighbors.

“Thank you,” reply Anna and immediately close the door of her house back.

Putting the box of cookies on the table, Anna set her foot toward the sister's room.

It was fitting that his sister did not hear the house bell ringing repeatedly, it turns out that his sister was wearing headphones while shaking her head.

Anna walked over to her sister and took off the headphones that her sister was wearing.

“Hey! What are you doing?!” pekik Andy - Anna's younger brother.

“Stop lazing! You should study hard. Isn't that what a third-grader of High School should be doing?!” Anna was angry when she saw her sister was busy playing mobile phones while listening to music.

The bell rings again.

Andy took back his headphones and sent Anna away. “Stop bothering me and go open the door!"

Anna was upset. Who else rang the bell of his house?! Anna again opened the door and saw the same person giving the cake smiling towards her.

“Can I borrow a vacuum cleaner? You know, I just moved today and because our move was so sudden so-“

“Wait a minute!” Anna cut the man's words.

Anna went to the equipment storage, and returned with a vacuum cleaner in her hand. Anna gave it to the man and immediately closed the door.

Tong!

Just two steps Anna walked away from the door, the bell rang again.

Anna rolled her eyes and opened the door again. The man is still smiling. I don't know why his smile made Anna want to kick him.

Patience, Anna, you have to keep smiling to be friendly to the new neighbors, Anna said in her heart with a forced smile.

“What else do you need?” anna asked with a slight emphasis on the words she said.

“I forgot to say, if I also want to borrow a lawnmower.”

“No!”

It's friendly enough! Anna could not help her already heightened emotions.

“I forgot to thank you.”

“No need!”

This time, Anna had completely lost her temper and had vented her emotions by slamming even innocent doors.

Anna walked while stomping her feet. His hands clenched as if he wanted to punch someone. Anna repeatedly cursed the man who was her new neighbor. It could be that the man was interfering with Anna's holiday that she should have been on quietly and peacefully.

“Truly troublesome neighbor! Don't let me deal with him!”

Some people say that speech is a do'a. What happened to Anna was the opposite. 

This morning there was a new lecturer who came to replace the lecturer who had previously been dropped out of campus for harassing a student. 

However, the new lecturer was none other than the man who was Anna's new neighbor. Men doorbell. That's the nickname Anna gave the man. 

"What's wrong? You've been staring at the new lecturer ever since."

Grace's words were indeed correct, Anna continued to stare at the new lecturer with a sharp gaze. Kevin Rowman, the new lecturer's name. 

"I just don't like it."

There were no lies in Anna's words. Because yesterday her day off was interrupted, Anna still felt annoyed at Kevin, the one who ruined her day off. 

"Ey, don't be. How about you like it later?"

Sillier. Maybe Anna likes Kevin. After all, Anna already had a future husband. That's what Anna thinks, but she can't tell Grace yet. 

It's not that Anna intends to lie to Grace, but Anna wants to tell Grace at the right time. For now, Anna will keep her relationship with Edgar a secret. 

"For you. The new lecturer is not my type. After all, don't you like handsome-looking men? I think he's good."

Although Kevin's face is handsome, for Anna, Edgar's face is ten times more handsome than Kevin.

Her phone vibrated, Anna read the message she received from an unknown number. He smiled when he read the message. The number was Edgar's. 

Edgar asks Anna to come to his room before Anna comes home and leaves the campus. 

"Sorry, Grace. I have a little business, so you can go home first. Bye."

Waving her hands, Anna ran away leaving Grace screaming to call her name.

A smile was painted on Anna's pretty face, a little impatient to meet Edgar. They were separated only one day yesterday. 

"Excuse me, Professor."

Anna opened the door of Edgar's room carefully after he had knocked on the door first. 

Like Deja Vu, Anna sees Edgar busy with his laptop. But this time the man was not alone. A man who had just become a lecturer was on the sofa in Edgar's room. Yeah, Kevin was there. 

"Don't just stand there. Sit down."

Although Edgar said so, Anna seemed hesitant if she should sit next to Kevin. 

"Sorry, Professor, it looks like you're having a guest. So, I'll come next time."

Before Anna turned around, Kevin spoke up. 

"Come in, neighbor girl. No need to be shy like that."

"Do you know each other?" Edgar raised his eyebrows. 

Anna tries not to get involved with Kevin. However, the goddess fortuna seemed to say something else. Since there was no point in lying, Anna nodded her head, while Kevin smiled. 

While Anna and Kevin have yet to open their voices, Edgar takes the initiative to start a conversation. 

"Since you two are here, I will introduce each of you. Anna, this is Kevin, my cousin. He's the new lecturer at this campus."

Edgar took turns looking at Anna and Kevin, then continued his words. 

"Kevin, this girl is Anna, my future wife."

Both Anna and Kevin, they still heard Edgar's words intently. However, a few seconds later, they widened their eyes in unison. 

"Cousin?"

"Wife candidate?"

"He?!"

Pointing at each other, Anna and Kevin were both surprised by Edgar's words that made no sense to them 

The first time he saw Kevin, Anna did think that his face felt familiar. Kevin is a bit similar to Edgar, although Edgar is much more handsome than him. However, Anna did not expect that Kevin was Edgar's cousin. 

Correcting her facial expression, Anna smiled stiffly at Kevin. A very forced smile. 

He wouldn't complain to Edgar about my rude attitude toward him the other day, would he? thought Anna with a little riled up. 

"Ah, so you're a cousin of Professor Edgar?"
