Suddenly Married!

Mysterious Old Woman

At 07:15 a.m., both Anna and Edgar were tidy with their performances. Anna has a lecture schedule in the morning, while Edgar is a professor who became one of the teachers in Anna's class. Therefore, they always leave together to go to campus.

"We have breakfast outside, the time is not enough!" Anna looked at the watch on her wrist.

"Hn. It's up to you, honey."

Getting out of the room, Anna was surprised because Lucia was tidying the dining table. There are plenty of breakfast menus there. It seems that her mother-in-law had woken up first and cooked.

"Mother? Did Mom cook all this? I should just rest, we can have breakfast outside later."

Anna feels bad for having inconvenienced Lucia who incidentally is a guest in her apartment and Edgar. Anna should have prepared breakfast, not her mother-in-law.

"It's okay. After all, Mom will be home after we have breakfast together. I'm afraid to make you uncomfortable if you stay here too long."

"Ah, then we'll have breakfast with Mom. Isn't that right, Ed?"

Without waiting for an answer from Edgar, Anna pulled her husband's hand to sit together. She did not want to upset her mother-in-law by refusing breakfast together.

Looking at the watch, Anna rounded her eyes when she realized that her college hours were about to start any minute. He purposely did not finish his breakfast and drank hurriedly until he coughed lightly.

"Uhuk ... uhuk .. sorry, Mom, but Anna has to leave for college. Anna's almost too late!"

Anna ran over and rushed into her shoes, while Edgar was still sitting at the table relaxed.

"Ed, hurry!" anna said impatiently.

"We're going to leave. Take good care of yourself and I'm sorry I couldn't take you home."

The direction of Dominic's residence with the campus was opposite so that Edgar could not drive the mother home in his car, especially Anna was almost late to college so Edgar had to bring his car at high speed.

Once in front of the campus, Anna rushed out of the car and galloped towards her class. Whatever happens, don't let him be late for class! Because, the lecturer who teaches his lecture eyes today is a lecturer who is notoriously cruel on his campus!

"Luckily I'm not late, huh!" said Anna with a breath of breath.

"Tumben you just came? It usually comes before me" asked Grace in surprise.

"That's because my mother-in-law stayed over and told us to have breakfast together. I was going to turn it down, just couldn't bear it because he already bothered to make breakfast."

To be honest, Anna rarely had breakfast if she had a morning lecture schedule. Even if he had breakfast, he would have only eaten sandwiches so that his stomach would not be too empty.

"By the way, why hasn't the lecturer entered yet? It's past teaching hours!"

Anna had been running around so that she was not late to class, but the lecturer who taught had not come even though his lecture hours had started since fifteen minutes ago.

"Where do I know! I don't even have anything to do with that cruel lecturer!"

After a few seconds, finally a lecturer entered the class with a smile. The presence of the lecturer made all students confused. Because, the lecturer is not a lecturer who should teach!

Representing the entire bewildered class, Anna raised her hands high. "Sorry, Professor Kevin. Now is not the time to study financial management, but office management. I think you're wrong in class."

"It is true that now is the lesson of office management. I'm here because I was asked to replace a lecturer who didn't come in." Kevin explained the reason for his arrival so that no one else asked.

Although it has been explained well, the students still doubt the ability to teach Kevin who incidentally is a new lecturer, especially now Kevin must teach the material that should be taught by other lecturers. Of course they doubt!

"Somehow I still don't like his face!" Anna snorted when she saw Kevin's face.

"Why? Isn't his face handsome?"

"C'mon, Grace. His face was too similar to Edgar even though Edgar was more handsome!"

Grace frowned. "You mean, you don't like people whose faces look like Professor Edgar's? Then what if your son looks like your husband?"

If his son looks like Edgar, that's good news. After all, Edgar is a husband and father-to-be for his children later, where maybe Anna hates the face of her son who looks like the father. Grace's words make no sense!

"Ah, right. Professor Edgar's your husband."

Late in their conversation, Anna and Grace are unaware that her morning course is over. They didn't even write down anything in the book because they were busy talking about Kevin and Edgar.

"Alright .. because the teaching time is up, I say retreat," said Kevin while looking at his watch.

Anna and Grace exchanged confused looks. Only this time they did not pay attention to the eyes of the lecture from the beginning to enter until it was finished. The habit of talking about others is dangerous!

"Grace, did you take notes?"

"No! What about you, Anna?"

"No!"

Anna thought it would be very dangerous if she did not graduate from college because she was busy chatting. Therefore, in the next course Anna will record all the lecture material with her cellphone. Of course, that does not mean he will return to chat with Grace to ignore the lecturer. However, it needed to be done in anticipation if he was to be caliph.

"Ah, I'm hungry~" Grace holds her flat stomach. "Anna, let's have lunch!'

"Wait a minute! I'll ask Edgar if he's had lunch or not!"

Anna picks up her phone in her pocket, then sends a message to Edgar. If Edgar hadn't had lunch yet then Anna would have invited him to a meal together, of course with Grace as well.

His phone shook, Anna opened a message from Edgar and read it immediately. Her face suddenly turned sour, when the contents of her message said that her beloved husband was busy so he could not go outside for lunch.

What can I do if the message is like that then Anna can't force Edgar to come along. After all, a lecturer was always busy, so Anna would understand him.

"Say he can't go outside." Anna took a long breath. "Come, Grace! We ate both!"

As Anna and Grace walked hand in hand, suddenly a middle-aged woman approached them. The old woman looked messy with her seedy clothes and long hair that was like she had never been combed.

"Sorry, Son. Is it true that there's someone on campus named Edgar Dominic?"

Hearing her husband's name being mentioned, Anna suddenly frowned.

Why is this old lady looking for Edgar? thought Anna was astonished.

Honestly Anna was afraid that a stranger would suddenly look for her husband. So, he intended not to say anything. However ...

"He's our Professor. Why are you looking for him?" grace answered honestly.

Grace and her mouth never shut. Anna forgot, she should have kept Grace's mouth shut!

"Sorry, Auntie. We have business."

Before Grace spoke more, Anna forcefully dragged Grace to leave the old woman of unknown origin.

"Why drag me? You don't see a woman looking for Professor Edgar?!"

"C'mon, Grace. Didn't you see that old lady looks scary?! What if he's a criminal?!"

Not wanting to lose to Grace, Anna then reversed the words of her friend. Grace is so trusting of others that she is often the victim of fraud!

"Where could the old woman be a criminal! He looked even more like a vagrant whose life was very heavy. There was no way that old woman was a bad woman!"

Don't judge a book by its cover. Grace should have applied that saying. People who look good are not necessarily good, and vice versa.

Even though the old woman looked like someone who needed help, yet she was still a stranger who did not even know how her true nature was!

"As far as you are, Grace. I'm hungry and want to fill my stomach with good food!"
