Treating Wounds

There are a lot of bad people out there. Anna didn't even know if the doctors and nurses in the hospital could be trusted! What if they couldn't keep a secret about Anna's condition that was full of injuries on her body? What if they find out that the injuries were caused by Edgar and start spreading malicious gossip without knowing the truth? 

"Anna!" Edgar raised his voice. "Your body is more important than anything! Who cares what other people say? Even though they know that I'm a sadist, I don't care!"

"But I care, Ed!" it was Anna who did not want to lose to Edgar. "I'm afraid they'll use your weakness to do evil! The world is hard, Ed. If the smart lecturer and successor to Dominic's company are known to have weaknesses, they will not hesitate to attack you!"

Unless Edgar was just an ordinary person who did not have a high standing, perhaps Edgar would be nothing and his marriage to Anna would be safe. Who cares about ordinary people who have sadism? People won't care. However, it is a pity that Edgar is the son of a conglomerate that has the number one company in America. Just this time Anna regretted marrying the man born with a golden spoon in her mouth. 

Edgar massaged the base of his nose from dizziness after arguing with Anna. He did not even realize that his body was still in a state of complete nakedness. 

"You'd better rest in the apartment until his injuries get better. Don't try to go to college or get out of here!" 

It was a bit selfish, but Edgar said it was because he was worried about Anna's condition. After all, it was possible that Edgar let Anna go to college with a swollen face and a body full of wounds. Others might not be able to see it clearly because it was covered in makeup, but what Edgar was worried about was the pain. What if Anna accidentally bumped into someone and made her wound worse? Oh, don't let that happen! 

Anna rolled her eyeballs in another direction while sighing. "You better get dressed, Ed. My eyes are almost out because I see you like that."

Saying that, Anna refocused herself on her pending work. He was preparing to cook soup to relieve Edgar's hangover and make porridge for himself. However, before Anna could realize her intentions, Edgar had acted arbitrarily by holding Anna in front of the chest. 

"Eh? What the hell are you doing? Let go of me, Ed!" Anna wanted to rebel further, but her whole body was sick so she could not hit Edgar's chest to lower it. 

"Don't move much, Anna. Is not your body sick? I'll treat it for you."

Naked round in front of Anna doesn't even make Edgar shy. After all, they had already seen each other's bodies. 

Edgar dropped Anna on the bed. Before starting to treat Anna, Edgar put on clothes first because Anna kept telling him to stare.

To be honest, Edgar wanted to make Anna faint and take her to the hospital. However, Edgar cannot do so out of fear of being hated by Anna. Being hated by Anna would be more painful than her secret being exposed in front of many people. 

Edgar carried a box of P3K filled with various kinds of medicines, bandage plaster, etc. In fact, Edgar did not know which medicine to treat wounds like Anna. Therefore, she read one by one the medicine and ointment before putting it on Anna. 

"Open your clothes, Anna."

"Bu-open?" stutter Anna, "Ed, I guess .. I can do it myself. Don't you have to go teach on campus today?"

It was a shame that Anna had to take off her clothes so that her injuries were treated by Edgar. Although Edgar's intentions were good, Anna was embarrassed. 

"I changed my mind. I better take the day off teaching until you're healed. How could I have left my wounded wife alone in the apartment."

Work is important, but Anna's health is more important than work. Moreover, Anna was injured because of her while drunk. As a man and husband, Edgar must take responsibility for his actions to Anna. 

Not wanting to argue, Anna finally resignedly undressed in front of Edgar. Only the top clothes Anna took off, except for the bra that was still attached to her body. 

"You're playing me?" Edgar frowned when he saw Anna who looked timidly covering her upper body that was only wearing a bra. "Let go of everything! Including your pants and underwear!"

How persistent was Anna to hide her scarred body, but Edgar knew and remembered the incident last night where he had given Anna a punch and bite wound. Edgar is no fool!

Anna turned to look at Edgar. "You can treat my back, while the rest, let me take care of it myself."

"Say if it hurts, I'll start treating you with this ointment."

Anna nodded her head. "Hn. You sure you're not going to teach?"

Again the question, why did Anna seem to want Edgar to leave so badly? Edgar was just trying to help her and take responsibility.

Edgar pressed Anna's wound to make her groan in pain. 

"Akh!" erang Anna's. 

"seen? It looks like your wound is so serious that it screams so loud."

"That's because you deliberately pressed my wound!"

"Yes-yes-yes." Finished applying the ointment on Anna's back, Edgar kissed Anna's back several times. "Your back is hot."

Not only was Anna's back hot, but her entire body was mainly a part of the face. Anna was already too embarrassed by Edgar's exaggerated attitude. If you want to apply the ointment then just apply it, there is no need to add some kissing on his back.

"Ed, if you don't stop it right away then I'll explode!"

"Excoded? Are you making a joke?" 

Exploding what Anna meant was anger. Although Edgar understands her point, he deliberately pretends not to know to tease Anna. 

"Ed!" Anna moved her body away from Edgar. "I'll treat the other wound, so I hope this beloved husband can get out of the room!"

"All right, sweetie."

"Why hasn't Anna arrived yet, huh?" Grace has been circling the campus looking for Anna's whereabouts, but she can't find her. "His phone is inactive too! Where exactly is he?"

Anna's not the one who's gonna skip college unannounced. If Anna is not on campus and her phone is off, of course Grace will be worried.

"Professor Kevin!" call Grace. Grace ran over to Kevin who was standing in the corridor. 

"Grace," said Kevin, "Did you see Professor Edgar? The room is empty."

Just now Grace had intended to ask about Anna and Edgar to Kevin, but it seemed that the man was also unaware of their whereabouts. What really happened to them?

"I don't think Anna and Professor Edgar came in. Do you know anything, Professor?"

Kevin was silent for a moment, then muttered, "What happened yesterday, huh?"

"What do you mean?"
