Chapter 17's

Jungkook's remarks reminded him of three months ago, while still in America. Jiwook-sang's father, strongly insists on asking his son to return to Korea to take his place, as he wants to retire early and take a break from his short-term job.

It was the same with Jungkook, who insisted on refusing the father's request. The only child was too comfortable living in America, even though he was not even 2 years there.

Jiwook even deliberately sent some files from the company, in the form of a list of employees who are still actively working or who have resigned, a list of shareholders of Nam Corp, vendors who work with their companies, and others, and also other things that Jungkook should know as the heir to the company later.

But the important documents packed in the box, it just became a pile of meaningless paper. Because Jungkook is not at all interested in just glancing. Don't care, just wonder not. Jungkook doesn't want to know anything about his father's company in Korea.

"You throw this shit away, Jim." - Jungkook complained to his secretary and best friend.

"Where can it be. This is a company document, it shouldn't be arbitrary." Jimin sent back to the coroner, making Jungkook crackle.

After a few hours, Jungkook accidentally nudged one of the boxes containing the file, while he was putting a champagne bottle on the table next to him.

Suddenly, the contents spewed out. Also, Jungkook must clean it himself. While grumbling, he picked up sheet by sheet of paper scattered on the floor. But when he wanted to take the last sheet, Jungkook suddenly stagnated, because the paper is a Curriculum Vitae with the name Shin Hara.

Jungkook also observed with the details of the information listed there, and also the photo listed from the owner of the name. Making sure the profile is the same person as the idol.

"Jim, I think it's time for me to go back to Korea" Jungkook exclaimed as he showed the paper in his hand to Jimin.

"Hara worked there," he continued.

The last few months since Jimin failed to find the girl's whereabouts, Jungkook has almost given up looking, and intends to erase Hara's figure in his life. But somehow, Jungkook seemed to be given a clue. Both of them are destined to meet again.

"Tell my father, I accept his offer." said Jungkook, who was immediately agreed to by Jimin at that time.

The father and son also immediately met with their respective secretaries, to discuss several things. Including the handover of Jungkook's position as President Director of the company in America. Although there is no replacement candidate, Jiwook said he would take care of the matter.

"I wonder what made you change your mind?" ask the father. Jungkook is a consistent type of person.

His son will keep his own faith until the end. But it will certainly change your mind if there are important things that require.

"Because in the end I will inherit the company." Jungkook's reply was greeted with a sumringah laugh from his father.

Although Jungkook sounds annoying, but such an attitude is what a CEO must have. Not to be easily swayed or affected by problems that will hit it later. It also indicates that Jungkook is ready to accept big responsibilities.

It will take nearly 3 months to officially assume the title of CEO. There is a lot of preparation to be done. Like administrative management, Jungkook also has to learn more about the position, as well as how the regulatory system in his own company.

To be honest, that day was not the first time Jungkook had set foot in the Nam Corp building. After two weeks back in Korea, he's been back and forth visiting his company-without anyone recognizing who he is. The goal is to observe how the work culture there, and also the performance of its employees.

This moment also makes it an opportunity to spy on the habits of Hara. So that's why Jungkook approached the existence of Hara who was in the rooftop. For once a few days, the girl must be there alone every lunch hour.

"Then, is that my responsibility?" Hara is speaking. Conversations between Jungkook and Hara continue. It's just, this is not the situation that should have been created.

"Please, don't say anything else that would make me hate you,"

"You're mad at me?"

Hara turned her face away.

The girl got up from the chair. "I'm sorry, if my words are too much. You have been so good to me." Hara bowed for a moment. "Thank you for the food" he continued, then walked off the dinner table.

All Hara had in mind now was to return home. Fortunately, he had time to wash his clothes while bathing, although there was no dryer there. It would be foolish to wear clothes that are still wet. We had to spend the night in Jungkook's apartment. It's too awkward.

"Hara, wait." Jungkook also moved from the dining table, and followed the steps of the girl who was already in the living room.

Just as it had happened, Jungkook again blocked Hara's arm, until the girl turned towards him.

"Alright, let's end that discussion. Sorry, makes you uncomfortable. I just want you to understand." Jungkook paused his words for a moment.

"But don't go. I don't want to lose you again,"

Both of Hara's eyes were breaking. For the first time there was someone who wanted to exist in this world. He was happy and hesitant at once. Does he deserve this affirmation.

"Mr Jungkook, I-I-"

It was Jimin. The man carried a large paper bag in his hand. Obviously, Jimin was very troubled with all the stuff, so he did not stop grumbling to enter Jungkook's apartment alone.

"Is there no one here? I've pressed the bell many times, but no one has opened the door!" his grunts, then approached the two of them, and stomped the parcel he brought onto the sofa.

"You've come" Jungkook said casually, after removing Hara's hand from his check.

"I've brought everything you asked for." Jimin said cynically. It seems how upset he must obey the will of the burly baby who has only his behavior.

Meanwhile, Hara who did not understand what was between the two men, just looked at Jungkook and Jimin alternately, while being shrouded in question.

Jimin, realizing this, turns to Hara and greets the girl. "Hi, you're Shin Hara, right?" his tone was very soft. It was different when I spoke to Jungkook a few seconds ago.

Hara nodded shyly. "Certainly,"

"It's nice to meet you, I'm Jung Jimin." Jimin extended his hand. The action was certainly rewarded with a hunchback and a cynical look from the man opposite him.

Hara then returned Jimin's hand, accompanied by a smile. Jungkook was increasingly upset to see the interaction of the two who looked very warm.

"Have acquaintances?"

"Well, did you have dinner without taking me?" Jimin instantly switched to the dining table with a furore he created himself.

"Yes," continued Jimin again after enjoying the first feed of the cold dish without feeling burdened-up-ignoring two figures in the living room who stared awkwardly at each other. Of course, Jimin.

"You can use these clothes, let me bring them to the room." cried Jungkook, taking the entire paper bag and bringing it alone to the room upstairs.

Hara nodded and started following Jungkook up the stairs. While from the dining table, Jimin reviewed a small grin observing the two of them.

"Mr Jungkook, the job you mentioned earlier, how?" hara asked as soon as the two arrived at the door of the room.

"Tomorrow. You need to rest tonight." Jungkook also handed over the fist from his grasp to Hara.

"Sleep, please" Jungkook said again before retreating from the girl's presence.

"Mr Jungkook," called Hara, before Jungkook came down the stairs. "Thank you."

Jungkook just smiled faintly, then disappeared from Hara's sight, and approached Jimin who was sitting on the sofa-peak spent some of the dishes made by his friend.

"You're not coming home?" the question Jungkook was asking sounded more like driving Jimin away.

"I'll spend the night here" Jimin laid his body on the sofa he was sitting on. "I'll keep an eye on you, so you don't do anything to Hara." she continued.

Jungkook chuckled. "I'm more worried that you're going to infiltrate Hara's room."

"Hey, come on. I can't do that."

"Yes, okay. Shut your mouth and sleep there,"

Jungkook enters his room, while Jimin decides to sleep on the sofa. What is permissible, the two-story residence only has two bedrooms. Although there was one empty room, it was completely empty. Whether the room will be made into what it will be, Jungkook has not decided.

In his solitude, Jimin thought of something after seeing Hara earlier. To be honest, when he asked Jungkook to find the girl, he had already found her. But he chose to hide it, because there were things that Jimin did not want to tell Jungkook. Let it be a secret, to keep it to himself.

After all, it seems like Hara doesn't remember Jimin. Although the man had given her some help in the past.
