Suminah's footsteps continued to walk without fear of her crashing into something in front of her. The black and thick fog still enveloped Tegalsari village from the end of the village to the end of the village again. The golden knife that Suminah carried continued to lead Suminah to go in the direction that the golden knife was intended.
Rangkas was still standing and was silent in his confusion. Strong wind hit Rangkas body from behind and immediately Rangkas rotate his body. It was clear that BIG TALL FIGURE was standing exactly two steps away from Rangkas. Rangkas eyes snickered and his mouth gawked to the extent that his tongue could not say a word. He wanted to scream but his tongue was stiff and mute until in the end Rangkas also fell unconscious with his own.
The strong wind that hit Rangkas had disappeared and changed with a large and black tall figure. The mysterious figure was all over black and only two of his eyes were round large glowing red. The cruel and sadistic look of the figure seemed to want to eat Rangkas' body whole. But when the hand of the big and tall black figure was about to reach Rangkas body, suddenly there was a voice of Suminah's cry from a distance.
"Rangkaiy! my sonuuu! where are you naaaak...???" The shout did not make the black figure stop his intentions. He immediately grabbed Rangkas body and when he was about to take Rangkas body away, suddenly there was a dazzling silver ray as big as a coconut without any fibers darting rapidly towards the black figure.
The black figure was late dodging the strange rays that out of nowhere came it. In the end the body of the figure was bounced away and in an instant disappeared from sight. Rangkas body detached from the black figure's hand earlier and he was still lying unconscious on the ground. The black and dense fog that previously covered Tegalsari village is now slowly starting to thin and increasingly disappearing, leaving not a single hint of the mysterious fog.
Suminah was still shouting to call her son's name and before long Suminah was walking in the direction where the knife led to a public cemetery in Tegalsari.
'Why does this knife lead to this cemetery? isn't my son here???" Said Suminah wondering in her heart and her steps have now entered the cemetery. Suminah's eyes stared tensely as she saw her son lying on the burial ground.
"Rangkas my son!" As soon as Suminah ran up to her son. Suminah was very panicked to see her son lying on the ground of the grave.
"Not wake up, son!" Said Suminah trying to wake Rangkas and then Rangkas groaned while opening his eyes.
"Emac? what are you doing here?" Said Rangkas and he immediately got up and sat down.
"I have to ask you, son! What are you doing these nights at a funeral huh!? didn't I tell you to buy kitchen spices?" Rangkas pensive for a moment and his mind was still dazed trying to remember the events he had experienced.
Her mother Rangkas immediately said to take Rangkas home and now they go home after Rangkas waiting for her mother to go to the stall to buy kitchen spices. But unfortunately, the subscription stalls that sell kitchen spices are closed. Suminah went to find a stall that was still open and still the results were nil.
Suminah was a bit disappointed as well and finally she soon returned to meet her son who was waiting at the border of the village entrance.
"How's Mak?" Ask Rangkas.
"All the stalls are closed, son, when the night is not too late. What's really going on in this village?"
"Either Mak, it's like there's something strange in this place."
"Hmm like that. Let's go home, son. Your face is pale." Said Suminah to the child just his puppet. Crop just nod
"So how did you get to that funeral, son?"
"Rangkas did not remember about it Mak, which Rangkas remembered was a black fog and also thick that blocked the view of Rangkas when Rangkas was in the village."
"Didn't you have a flashlight?"
"The flashlight can't penetrate the fog Mak! If Rangkas does not see the lights of the houses that are lit, Surely Rangkas Body will hit the walls of the houses. Rangkas continued to walk following the instinct to go to the stall, but somehow Rangkas walk. Suddenly there was a strong wind blowing through Rangkas body and after that Rangkas saw a large and tall figure. Only his eyeballs were red and his body was all black, his form was less clear because it was blocked by the dense fog Mak." Suminah listened to her son's story seriously and she began to worry about seeing his child shivering in the cold.
When Rangkas wanted to continue his story, Suminah immediately said.
"Let's go on with your story, son. I'll get you some warm water first to compress your forehead. Now put on this thick blanket and don't move yet, son."
"Good Mom." Answer Rangkas while nodding his head. After Suminah went out of Rangkas room, Rangkas also contemplated staring at the ceiling of his room. He imagined the big tall black figure earlier and recalled after he saw the figure.
'It seems that after I saw the black creature earlier, my head was dizzy and I immediately fainted' Rangkas said and he just kept thinking about the strange incident.
Suminah is cooking warm water in the furnace and also some betel leaves for Rangkas. He immediately remembered that the Kancil meat that he had cleaned in the bathroom had not been completely cleaned. Suminah immediately cleaned the meat of the deer and after it was finished she took a bag of Rangkas cloth that still contains the bird of prey. When Suminah took out the contents of the bag, she was a little surprised to see that there was a peach whose half had been eaten by the deer.
"Have peaches? where did Rangkas find this rare fruit?" Said Suminah astonished and she immediately finished her work. He immediately prepared warm water and betel leaves into a small basin and brought the used peaches eaten by the deer.
Setiba in Rangkas room, Suminah saw her son was holding a golden knife that he had brought to look for his son. Rangkas saw her mother go into her room and Rangkas then asked,
"Did Mom bring this knife to find Rangkas?" Suminah nodded and said.
"Mom intentionally brought the knife just in case Nak. I'm afraid you why-why there because the sound of the fart reminds Mother of the danger. I'm afraid you're being suspected of being a thief by them, son." Rangkas just fell silent and his mother said again.
"What was the sound of the clanging earlier a sign of the danger of the strange fog, son?" Suminah's words were immediately answered by Rangkas.
"It seems so Mak. When Rangkas had entered the village, Suddenly a dark fog covered Rangkas view and after that the sound of clanging sounded loudly and the sound of screaming for people to enter the house." Rangkas' speech made Suminah manggut-mangut listen to him.
