RUSDI Died of the mysterious disease and has left his wife and child alone for ever. The last words spoken by Rusdi still hold a mystery in him. The village chief was still ringing about who the man who dared to make trouble with him for killing his son. The police officer was still staring at Rusdi who had died was being mourned by his son and wife.
Then the Police Officer said to the Village Chief.
"So how is the Village Chief? Is the Chief still willing to accuse the late Mr. Rusdi of being the perpetrator of the murder of his son, Mr. Kades?" Mr. Kades then looked at Rangkas and spoke softly to the police officer.
"Is this case still valid until the child is an adult sir?"
"What about Mr. Kades? I don't understand." Said the Police Officer to Mr. Kades.
Then the Village Chief whispered to the police.
"Look sir, I'm still wondering who really killed my son. But my suspicion of Rusdi remained. I want the boy to reveal what Rusdi said before he died." The Chief of Police looked at Mr. Kades and said,
"So Mr Kades wants the boy to reveal Rusdi's words It's only because his father has seen that bunch of freaks on the peach mountain??? is that what Mr Kades is???" Mr. Kades nodded his head as he said.
"Right Sir, I'm going to throw this accusation away until the boy reveals what Rusdi saw before he became ill. I just want proof that Rusdi's words aren't just an excuse to cover up his lies." The words of Mr. Kades were apparently heard by Rangkas and his mother.
Suddenly Rangkas said while staring at Mr. Kades.
"I can afford Mr. Kades! For the sake of the dignity of my Father and my Mother, I am willing to prove that my Father's words are true."
"It's good if you can afford to kid." Said Mr. Village Chief, But Ibu Rangkas immediately said.
"Don't Nak! The forest is very dangerous! Your father just got sick this bad especially you later!?"
"Do not be afraid Mak, after all this is for the good name of the Father who has been accused of murder even though there is no strong evidence that the Father is the perpetrator."
"But son how will it be with your safety? I only have you for the only." Said the sad mother and Rangkas also said.
"The crook will always be careful, Mother." Rangkas said with a smile and in the end his mother could only submit it to the god who is all-round.
Mr. Kades has now given the task of a lifetime to Rangkas so that he can uncover the veil of mystery that his father had seen before. If Rangkas managed to uncover the veil of mystery, Rangkas and his mother will be accepted back in the village of Tegalsari and will be given a special gift from Mr. Kades. But if Rangkas fails to uncover the veil until at the end of his age and his breath, then he and his mother will be as long as his ostracized by the citizens of Tegalsari. Since the incident on charges of murdering his son Pak kades to Rusdi, Rangkas and his mother were evacuated some distance from the village residents. The house is quite simple and only made for Rangkas and his mother. The house made of bamboo cubicles and planks was in the garden of the late Rusdi and there Rangkas and his mother planted cassava and tubers for them to sell to the market.
Evening has arrived and the bright sky began to change the color of red shade in the western horizon. Far away Rangkas staring towards the top of the mountain and he was even.
'It has been almost nine years since the death of my father. Until now, not once did I find the strange people you told me about on the top of the mountain there.'
Then Rangkas continued his journey again and his mind was still ringing with strange events that he experienced when he fell asleep in the wilderness of the peach mountain.
Setiba his home Rangkas immediately save the pile of firewood behind his house and soon his mother opened the kitchen door.
"Tumben a lot you got that firewood son?" Ask the mother.
"Hehe could be Mak, if Rangkas bring a lot of firewood means Rangkas will take a hunting break for two days." Then Rangkas also gave the animal his prey and gave it to his mother.
"It's Mak Rangkas getting Kancil and some birds." Ibu Rangkas also received it while saying.
"Well, it's been a long time since we've eaten pot meat, son." Said the mother smiling happily and then said again to Rangkas.
"You're showering now and I'm going to cook this pot of meat."
"Good Mom." Answer Rangkas and now they enter the house.
Rangkas then put his hunting goods and prepare to take an afternoon shower. While Rangkas mother was cleaning Kancil meat and also bird meat for later he cooked into a delicious cuisine.
Night had arrived and the atmosphere in Tegalsari was quite quiet. Smog began to emerge from the top of the peach mountain and down to the bottom of the peach mountain. The fog covered the village of Tegalsari, but the residents who were in their respective homes did not know about the natural events.
Rangkas had finished bathing and he was told by his mother to buy some spices in the Tegalsari village. With an old flashlight, Rangkas down the path from his house to Tegalsari village is located. Rangkas feather suddenly goosebumps and he turned to the left and to his right which is where there are only cassava gardens belonging to him.
'Why did my hair suddenly goosebumps? What is this really???' Said Rangkas heart inwardly and he continued to continue his steps until Tegalsari was located. Upon Rangkas' arrival there, he fell silent staring at the Tegalsari Village.
'Why is there so much fog here? It seems like only once did I see a thick fog covering the houses of the residents.' Rangkas directed his flashlight towards the front and still his flashlight beam could not penetrate the thickness of the gray dense fog. The lights of each resident's house that makes Rangkas benchmark to avoid the road because he was afraid he hit the house of the population.
The residents who were outside began to stir with the threat of the MYSTERIOUS FOG. The sound of a fart made of bamboo sounded loud and also the cries of the fathers telling people outside the house to immediately enter their respective homes. Everyone immediately closed the doors and windows of their houses and the ones with the stalls closed as well. Rangkas heard the sound of clanging and screaming earlier, but he was late to realize that he was now in a position of danger to his safety.
