Mommy Suminah's DEVOTION still continues, she recalled when one day her husband would go hunting to the Forest. Rangkas then whined to follow his father hunting, but his mother forbade him on the grounds in the Forest is very dangerous for children the age of Rangkas.
"Mr, Rangkas is coming?!" Said Rangkas to his Father and his Mother who was sweeping the yard immediately said.
"Don't come, son! the woods are very dangerous!" Firmly the Mother to Rangkas and her Father Rangkas who was packing at that time would leave for the Forest was said.
"Not what Mom, let Rangkas come along. Besides Rangkas is old enough to join the hunt with Father."
"But sir, if later in the Forest meet with a Tiger or other ferocious Beasts how??? I'm afraid Rangkas why-why." The mother was very anxious, but her husband kept smiling and said.
"No need to worry Mom, you will take care of Rangkas. Besides in the forest there are no wild animals like Tigers, which I often meet only Wild Boar."
"The Forest Rabbi also includes the wild beast sir." Said his mother Rangkas again and his father Rangkas just clasped his hands while saying.
"There's no need to fear Mom, Rangkas will be fine. Let's pack up quick."
"Good sir." Replied Rangkas and the mother could only resignedly see her son come with his father to go to the forest to hunt. The mother can only pray for the safety of the child and her husband in heart so that the husband and his children can return home safely.
In the afternoon, Suminah who had done homework immediately went out of the house.she looked anxious waiting for the return of her son and husband from the forest. he looked nervous after pacing back and forth many times in front of his house.
"The betters will soon be night, why haven't they come home yet? my husband used to come home before evening became night." Said Suminah raging talking alone. He turned his face towards the forest which was a little far from the back of his house.A little while he waited for the return of his son and husband, a sense of recklessness appeared to follow them into the forest.
As Suminah was about to go into the forest, she saw from a distance the two people she recognized coming home with their hunting products. The look on Suminah's face which was initially anxious and depressed, now changed to happy and haru. She immediately welcomed the arrival of her husband and child with a hug full of novelty.
"Why did you guys come home so long? are you guys all right?" Suminah asked her husband and son. Then her husband, Rusdi, answered.
"We're both fine, ma'am. Sorry ma'am, we came home late for bringing this big goat hunt. So it's only natural that we're on the road, aren't we, son?"
"Yes sir." Answer Rangkas with his joyful smile.
"Oh, thank goodness you're okay." Suminah then drove her husband and children into the house by bringing their hunting results, namely mountain goats that are quite large.
Suminah meditation stopped there because she was moved from her daydreams. Rangkas sounded a small groan while calling his father.
"Sir.., Paternity......" Suminah immediately took a leaf of betel leaf on her son's face.
"Not wake up, son..." Suminah said in shock and Rangkas was surprised and immediately woke up from his sleep.
"Father! huh! huh! huh!" Shouted Rangkas in his shortness of breath.
"Father Mak, Rangkas see you beheaded by a group of bad people!" Her mother frowned as she asked.
"You mean son? you dreamt of seeing your father like that???"
"Yes Mak, Rangkas can't see it." Said Rangkas with a sad face mixed with hunting breath.
"It's Son, it's just a Nightmare. After all your father died long ago when you were twelve years old. Now that you're almost twenty years old, it's been eight years since your father died and after all your father died of a severe illness, son."
"But Mak..." Rangkas speech stopped because his mother said.
"Have forgotten that, son, it's noon now you go looking for firewood to cook. Our firewood supplies are running low."
"All right, Mom." Said Rangkas a little moody, but he immediately remembered the previous incident.
"Oh yes, Mommy, I want to ask."
"What do you want to ask again, son?"
"Rangkas recalled, earlier Rangkas saw the eyes of the goat skull that was there was lit red. then suddenly the eyes of Rangkas dark, for some reason before Rangkas woke up in a field quite wide. then after that, Rangkas clearly forgot her. Know-know Rangkas saw the incident Father was beheaded by the bad guys whose head was wearing a white cloth." Her mother pondered imagining the story of Rangkas.
Then her mother Rangkas said,
"What you're going through is actually just a hallucination in your dreams, son. Don't you think about it anymore, son, I'm going to do laundry first. Oh yes, the fried cassava that I've cooked for your supplies to the forest is in Nak's kitchen. I'm going first."
"Good Mom." Rangkas replied as he saw his mother go out of his room, Then Rangkas also came out and stared at the goat skull that was still in position before.
Some time Rangkas noticed her, finally he immediately dismissed the incident he experienced before her because he had realized that not once he experienced such a thing. He immediately went to the kitchen to take fried cassava for his provisions later in the forest. Then met his mother to leave, after which he went out of the house and packed his hunting goods. There he found a knife that he had before lost.
'My feeling, this knife was gone and I searched the house.hmm, why am I experiencing so many strange events today? which makes me dizzy, why don't I clearly remember this strange incident?' The words of Inner Rangkas speak full of question marks. Rangkas then immediately get ready to go hunting into the forest and now he set foot on the path to the jungle that is at the foot of the mountains.
On the way to where he often found his various hunted animals, he was still contemplating the occurrence of strange things on his journey.up to a time when he was shocked instead of playing, in front of him passed a snake quite large but not too long his body size.Sontak Rangkas jumped backwards, he immediately took his bow with trembling hands. However, the silvery-white snake had already vanished behind the grass that grew tall enough.
"What kind of a switch was that? why is it so shiny like iron?" Rangkas murmured interrupted his shock. Rangkas still silent in his place, he recalled what kind of snake suddenly passed in front of him quickly. But he actually never once saw such a type of snake, although he often found various kinds of snakes in the jungle though. But there was not a single snake the same kind that he had seen just now.
