Sorry I Love You, Friend!

Aska down the path while occasionally stopping to enjoy the glitter of colorful lights displayed on the walls of the entertainment center building. Game center, mall, and karaoke? Where am I going?

Aska sighed in relief after successfully inhaling the air of freedom, she finally managed to escape from her family's escort. Lately, Papa, Aunt Nirmala even Aldi alternated following each of his movements. They were like caterpillars clinging to leaves, for a second not letting Aska out of sight.

It was done to make sure Aska did not get bored alone at home, they became friends to chat for him. But that made Aska tired. Aska feels like a less popular celebrity who is constantly followed wherever her feet step.

Aska had expressed her objections but the family said this was done for the good of Aska. Although still want to protest but no one can deny the request of the three people who always looked at Aska as if the girl would soon die if a little out of sight.

Today Aska managed to escape because Papa had to attend a shareholder meeting. Aunt Nirmala visits her ailing mother in the village while Aldi - as a last hope must serve her fiance who suddenly comes to discuss the preparation of their marriage.

This is where Aska is now, standing in front of the biggest bar in town. He had entered this place several times, on average only to accompany Bima to meet Angel - his girlfriend.

Ah, how I miss Bima, Aska sizzled in my heart.

Aska stepped in and sat down at the table in front of the bartender. Before long Surya – the bartender came to say hello, this man knew Aska as Bima's best friend.

“Udah long ngak here, Aska," he said as he showed his condolences for the accident that hit Bima.

Aska only responded with a faint smile.

“What do you drink?”

“Tequila," said Aska, he raised his voice to be heard more clearly by Surya. The sound of music covers each sound with a volume of decibels below it.

Surya frowned in confusion, as far as his memory Aska had never ordered an alcoholic drink. Bima strictly forbade the woman to touch drinks with high alcohol content, so Aska only ordered a cocktail or soda. Hearing Aska order Tequila with a 40% alcohol level, Surya was a bit worried but he could not argue, other than because Aska was a customer he had to serve, Surya also understood how the woman felt now.

The closeness of Aska and Bima can be seen clearly by anyone, the sudden departure of Bima certainly affects the mind of Aska at this time.

Surya put drinks orders Aska. The woman just looked at the glass blankly. The sun went back and came back with a bottle of mineral water. He put it next to Tequila's glass.

“Drink this, I treat," he said, pointing to a bottle of mineral water.

Aska simply floated a blank look without any intention of responding to it.

Surya turned to serve other customers, leaving Aska with his daydream.

A woman came over to Aska, patting her on the shoulder slowly. Aska turned, looking at Cindy's co-worker Angel.

“You're still here? I thought I was back in Singapore.”

Aska turned her body to face the scantily dressed woman, then sighed heavily while raising her gaze to the center of the room. Seeing a group of people who are contorting their bodies right and left to follow the rhythm of music played by DJ.

“I want a little longer here, maybe all holidays.”

Cindy noticed the look on the face of the woman she admired. The face was sad with a black circumference surrounding his eyes. How many days did the woman cry?

The first time Bima introduced Aska, Cindy felt the woman was very charming. Aska has an androgynous character, she looks masculine in casual clothing but looks feminine and elegant when wearing a dress.

“You look a lot more lost than Angel," muttered Cindy slowly.

Aska turned away, she vaguely caught the cindy voice calling Angel's name. Aska raised her eyebrows, asking Cindy to repeat her words.

Cindy chuckled softly, she did not expect Aska to hear it. “Ah, I just said. You are more likely to suffer from the loss of Bima than Angel. Though all this time Bima has sacrificed a lot for Angel," he explained.

A sacrifice? Well, Bima is the type of man who is able to do anything for the people he loves, especially for Angel.

His mind again saw what silly things his best friend had done. Aska would not be surprised if Cindy said that if Bima replaced Angel work as a servant, Bima had done something crazier than that.

Cindy was silent for a moment, considering the need for her to recount the incident she saw a few days before Bima died. But there is nothing wrong with sharing memories of men who are remembered as fun for both of them.

“Bima the angel. He was always kind to everyone, even he also replaced Angel to pay the debt. I was so amazed at him" Cindy told in a carefree tone.

Aska frowning, debt?

Aska's face hardened and turned serious, “Bima paid Angel's debt?”

“You don't know yet?” Cindy was startled, her face pucker up. It felt like he had just delivered something wrong, Cindy had unknowingly triggered Aska's emotions.

“Hmmm, I think it's just a form of concern for Bima to her lover," instead of Cindy trying to melt the atmosphere that suddenly turned cold.

Aska felt that something was trying to cover Cindy. "Please tell me the truth. I just want to know what happened to Bima as long as I'm not with her.”

Cindy moved uncomfortably, she felt awry. On the one hand Cindy understood Aska's position as a friend but on the other hand she also did not want to be in the middle of the dispute Aska with Angel.

The history of Aska and Angel's meeting never ends either. Both of them are often involved in fighting, even Bima often had to intervene to reconcile the two. If Aska hears bad news about Angel again, Cindy is not sure the clash between them can end peacefully this time.

“Actually this is not an important thing, just a misunderstanding," Cindy said hesitantly.

“Sunday ago a loan shark came looking for Angel, asking him to pay the debt immediately. You know, we were freaking out because that big guy with a body full of tattoos, they ruffled this place," Cindy stopped to gulp. His body shuddered in horror at Aska's face.

"Continue,"

"The five came and led them out. I caught up with them, brought a towel for Angel. That's when I heard Bima say she would replace Angel to pay her debt.”

Aska is upset. "How much is the debt?”

“Size enough. I've never even touched that much money, 1 M.”

Aska. 1M? Billion?

“Where is that woman now?”

"Angel's? He didn't go to work for a few days, he said he wasn't feeling well.”

Aska incubated deeper, she pulled the coarse bottle of mineral water then gulped down the entire contents quickly.

Cindy was anxious as soon as she caught the annoyed look on Aska's face. “I don't know more details. Maybe I misheard," she quickly saw Aska's face turned dark with a red hue that still looks faint even behind the dim light.

Aska took out a hundred thousand from her pants pocket, put it on the table and left without saying a word.

“Aska!” call Cindy panic, she seems to know exactly where Aska is going.

“What's up?” asked Surya who was astonished to see Aska hurriedly leave while Cindy shouted frantically calling out to him.

“How about this, I told Aska.” about the incident that night

Surya clucked, he didn't think it through. Why Cindy told him something would obviously make Aska go berserk.
