Prologues
"Bima, I promise I'll always take care of you.”
Little pinky fingers interlocked to form a braid ala pinky sweat, a promise of a pair of friends.
The girl in red and white uniform with a bob-style round haircut, her lips flaunting a neatly arranged row of cucumber teeth. He patted his best friend's shoulder gently.
Bima looked at her best friend, Aska. The girl he had considered a brother he never had.
“I also promise. Whatever happens we will always be together" he said. His voice turned merrily while wiping away the trace of tears on his cheeks. The sadness that had engulfed his heart instantly evaporated. The promise forgotten by the mother was replaced by the sweet promise uttered by the little girl who was always loyal to her side.

Aska combed her shoulder-length hair with a finger, she sighed for a moment to let go of fatigue after a day of struggling with piles of paper. His eyes skimmed the paper before him, paying attention to every detail of the sketch he had just finished. Finish!
“Aska, Mr. Edgar would like to talk to you,” Ela barged into his boss' room with a panicked face, the deadline of several jobs that were getting closer made all employees start to lose their minds.
Aska sighed in annoyance. He had just been intending to take a break but as soon as he saw Ela emerge from behind the door, instantly the very word of rest he wanted evaporated in a swallow of bad news.
“There's a problem?”
Ela shrugged her shoulders as a sign of not knowing. "He didn't say anything."
"Ah yes, she's waiting for your answer in line three," point Ela to the phone on Aska's desk.
“Alright," Aska broke up with a heavy heart. "La please call the creative child here. There's something I need to discuss with them, "he ordered before Ela disappeared behind the door.
Aska took a deep breath and then exhaled slowly. He needs preparation to face the famous Edgar as the most difficult client to overcome.
“Good day Sir,”
Aska frowned. Damnit damnit! Inner irritated. As soon as he heard the voice of Aska, the man immediately launched a variety of complaints.
“Good. I will send the best officer to repair the damage done.” Aska set her tone to keep it sounding calm. He tightly gripped the phone handle in his hand until the plastic-coated object almost cracked.
Aska hung up the phone rudely. If it wasn't for a big project, I would have immediately terminated the contract with the baffled man. The sound of knocking on the door made Aska aware of all the swearing that muttered in her brain. "Log in.”
“Siang boss, Ela says you call me.”
Aska noticed Rudi, one of her trusted employees, “ya, sit down.”
“Pak Edgar filed some complaints about the decoration results. You have to handle it directly, do not send juniors," said Aska.
Rudi nodded quickly.
“Then what I want to talk about is the Singapore Park project. You can immediately start working with consultants. Remember, this is a big project. Make sure everything goes smoothly.”
Rudi nodded again. He knows enough of his boss' reputation as a perfectionist in handling every job.
“If there is any problem, please report it to me immediately. You can go.” Aska closed her one-sided discussion and switched back to staring at the laptop. The line of work is still in line to be completed immediately.
INFINITY Design and Decor was built in the third year after Aska settled in Singapore. Early in his career Aska chose to pursue experience at one of the largest construction companies in the country. While at the peak of her career, Aska realized that she could not continue to work contrary to her path of interest. The decision to resign and build an architectural consulting agency from scratch is clearly a subject of ridicule among other successful architects.
Aska was considered too proud and careless. Not everyone can build a company and be successful. Unfortunately what they think is wrong. Aska's path to success is fairly smooth. His reputation has been built since the beginning as a talented architect plus the educational background and big name of the father who in fact is the owner of a large construction company in Indonesia makes Infinity move quite quickly to master the design market interiors.
Aska glanced at her phone that was ringing again, all day several incoming calls constantly disrupted her work. As soon as she saw the name "Tante Nirmala" on the screen, Aska chose to continue the work. He is sure, his stepmother will only ask the schedule of his return to Indonesia in preparation for the wedding of Aldi - his half-brother. Since settling in Singapore, Aska rarely returned to her parents' home in Indonesia. The last time he set foot in the house a year ago, it was forced because Papa threatened to drag him home if he did not see the trunk of his nose at the moment of his birthday.
The incoming call followed by a lowbat notification again adorning the screen, it looks like the smartphone is getting tired of flashing and vibrating telling the owner to lift the incoming call. This time Aska relented, she let go of the job and grabbed her phone.
“Aska, you finally answered too. You must hurry home," exclaimed Nirmala quickly as soon as Aska received the call.
Aska sighed lazily. “Tan, I still have a lot of work to do. I'm home next month anyway,”
“Aska, Bima is dead! You must go home now," Nirmala cut, this time she tightened her tone with a slow sob between the sentences.
Aska. His brain was processing every word he had just heard.
A milkyo? Died off?
“Tante is not kidding right?” tanyanya doubt. He really hoped this time Nirmala was just joking as an excuse to force him to go home sooner.
“Rapid Aska, we wait for you before Bima.” funeral
Nirmala hung up on him without waiting for Aska's answer. Nirmala is convinced Aska will be home soon. Bima's name was much more valuable to Aska than anyone else in this world.
Aska's body vibrated, she hit the number one many times on her phone screen, a quick call that was connected directly to Bima's mobile number, some trying not one connected. Aska was silent for a moment before picking up the phone handle on her desk.
"La book a ticket to Jakarta right now" he ordered without waiting for a response from behind the phone.
Ela half ran into the CEO's room. “Why?” her question panicked as soon as she saw Aska's pale face.
“You handle all work. I have to go to Indonesia immediately," Aska tidied up the goods without knowing what went into her bag.
“What's up?” Ela grew increasingly panicked at Aska's trembling hand. Moreover, seeing the woman accidentally spilled coffee on the newly completed drawing paper.
“Aska! Calm yourself. What happened?” Ela pulled up Aska's arm, escorting her to sit on a nearby sofa. “Try to calm down, tell me.” Ela was shocked to see a tear flowing down both of Aska's cheeks, she never saw the woman crying.
“Bima, Bima,” muttered Aska with a vibrating sound. “Bima died.”
“Yes lord!” Ela's stuck. Now he knew what was causing Aska to panic.
“Bima, he left me," muttered Aska again on the sling.
Ela looked at him sadly, she knew how close the relationship was between Aska and her little friend Bima. They grew up together like inseparable twin brothers. If Aska is sad, Bima will be sad. And vice versa.
“I'll find a flight this afternoon. You better take a short break before going to the airport" he said before leaving Aska.
