Destiny is unpredictable. Who we meet with. When we split up. All of this already exists implicitly.
The word meeting does concern with farewell. At the end of the breakup, we can learn from the past.
Accepting reality is not as easy as turning the palm of the hand. Sometimes we have to be patient. Sighs softly and closes my eyes, and speaks; I can.
The words are sharper than the knife. Physics is easier than biology.
For four years he did not set foot in this school. For four years he lived with a feeling of guilt that reached his chest. However, it was as if not enough of his heart had frozen.
Rooftop schools have always been comfortable. His lips carved a thin smile, he took a sip of the cigarette sandwiched between his fingers while staring at the orange sky.
A flash of memory filled his mind about the Olympics, the grand piano, the words circus and 'he'.
Orion breathed slowly. One hand shuffled the coarse hair. For four years he ran from this city. For four years he tried to forget about the smile that first made his heart beat fast.
For four years Orion buried his feelings.
Candy Elisa and Fur Elise.
Two words that always dominated his mind.
The ego wins everything until it says sarcasm at the end of the story to make the girl cry and hurt.
There were only tears and wounds he remembered about the girl. The clap on his shoulder made Orion look over.
"Udah wants to malem. How long are you gonna be here?" Ask Arya.
Orion smiled slightly. He threw the cigarette butts on the floor and stepped on them with his shoes. "How noisy you are, like a canned sissy!"
Arya chuckles. Nothing has changed from Orion. His words were still sarcastic and spicy. However, that is all that makes Orion easily remembered by others.
"Udah four years. Don't you want to meet him?"
Orion did not answer. He stepped leisurely leaving Arya who was leaning on the edge of the wall.
Orion stopped his steps with his hands on the doorknob and spoke without turning his back, "Why did I find him after what I did?"
Arya looked straight at Orion. "Why indeed? You can apologize to her, right?"
Orion laughing. Not a happy laugh but a beautiful laugh that he always showed. "The word 'sorry' won't change everything," The look on his face turned flat. "From my apologies, I'd rather he's talking to me!"
After a cold speech like that Orion passed from the rooftop with his hands inserted in his suit. The peak night for the XII class will begin soon, he who was invited as a special guest-prepared himself.
Orion stared at the grand piano located in the middle of the stage. The spectator benches were neatly lined up in front of there. Students who will graduate sit with their respective partners. Orion smiles.
If only he had lowered his ego, maybe the desire to have it would have been fulfilled. But again, everything will not change.
Orion sat on that bench. His fingers pressed on the keys with balanced emphasis. Orion closed his eyes.
Every key he presses produces a rhythm. The formed tones flashed in the air. Fur Elise was a very dense tone. Orion opened his eyes. His black iris met a pearl-clear iris.
Orion. That same smile, a more mature face. Unknowingly her tears were dripping. He continued his game with a straight look at the figure. He misses her.
The applause and the admiring cheers from the disciples made Orion's attention diverted. He smiled and bowed respectfully. His eyes rolled around again hoping that the person he had just seen was not a delusion. However, nil. Orion didn't find the guy.
With a slow step he stepped off the stage. The look of disappointment was obvious from that face. He stepped with a bowed face and hands that rubbed the nape of the neck. He was too excited, he thought.
However, his steps came to a halt when a pair of white-colored shoes blocked his path. His face lifted, then a second later his eyes widened. Time stopped and the smile was there for him.
Orion forgot how to talk. He just stood stiff with his lips drawn in a straight line.
That soft voice resuscitated his daydream. Orion nodded stiffly. He followed the girl's steps, at first glance he could glance at the circular bracelet on the girl's hand. He smiled slightly, but the smile did not last long after he knew where this girl was going to take him.
School music room.
"Why did you bring me here?" After a long time, Orion let out his voice. He stared at the school music room which looked different from four years ago. The grand piano is still the same.
"Because this is where we've met for the second time."
Orion breathed. "Gue wouldn't have apologized four years ago. But, if you want me, please!" Orion spoke by looking at the girl who was still on her back.
Candy turned around still with a small smile engraved on her lips. It's not the Candy that used to be. Plain and innocent. After that event, Candy learns from her past. However, not all of Candy's attitude has changed. She is still a kind girl.
"I've even forgiven you. Everything you said back then made me a strong person. I should be thanking you, right?"
Orion grunting. He shakes not understanding. "Lo still b*go, huh? You don't realize I'm sick of you?!"
Candy nodded. "Yes. You hurt me. You made me suffer. Yeah, it's all true."
Orion smiled smirkingly.
"But I never lie, Orion. No matter how loud you talk like that, it's actually the feeling that's superior." The words from Candy made Orion look up. He stared fixedly at Candy's clear net.
"Lo-" Orion ruffled his hair in frustration. He can't hold it anymore. "F*ck!" With such a loud swearing Orion grabbed the tiny body into his arms. He hugged the tiny body.
"Basic*n! Yeah, bener. I love you, satisfied!"
Candy chuckles. That guy hasn't changed at all. He stretched out his arm to reply to Orion's embrace. "So, what now?" Plain asking.
Orion released the hatch at a glance. "Now we're married, satisfied!"
"Huh? We're not married yet, Orion,"
Orion rattles Candy's hair in a daze. He cupped the cabi's cheek and looked gently at Candy's eyes. "I'm sorry that I've been sick of you all this time, Elisha. So, you want to not accept my apology by accepting my application tomorrow morning?"
"No."
The short answer from Candy made Orion frown. But not a single bit changed the situation. "Why?"
"You're not romantic at all. The guy brought flowers, are you?" Candy held back her smile when she saw Orion scratching her nape confused. "But, for you, the exception. Aye!"
Orion smiles. He took Candy back to her deck.
The story does not have to be a perfect ending. The perfect ending is not necessarily we find his feelings. Just a little touch, yet a million feelings flew by.
In fact, we are not the main characters. We are just a side actor who is made the main character because of the circumstances.
And in fact, our story is not comparable to any other story. However, it can be remembered with the word Orion-Candy. The song fur Elise also became the storyline that we make.
And someday, our names will be united on the same paper.
