The Second Tinkling

"Well, can I be guided by Regaz? But why isn't he the one at the Olympics? It's third grade, it's still gini, '" Candy muttered between her slow steps.

He felt the distance between the teacher room and the canteen was very far this time. Her stomach had been sore from holding back her hunger since then. His steps were also very heavy, to the point that he thought he would faint in the school corridor. Until finally the sound of the incense that he believed came from the music room caught his attention, making him stop mumbling and sharpen his sense of hearing.

The music room should be soundproof, especially with the door closed tightly. However, he was sure the sound of the piano clink he heard came from the room. The curiosity within him, made him subconsciously lead his feet towards the room. Makes the sounds he hears clearer.

Candy opened the door of the music room that was not locked, and now her eyes were right to catch the figure of a man sitting behind her, playing his finger on the piano keys. It did not seem to be disturbed by the arrival of the girl.

Candy herself said nothing. I don't know, it looks like he got swept up in the song that the guy playing in front of him. A beautiful song that somehow he could feel the sadness in it. But he could not see how the expression of the man who played the song.

The pitch came to a halt, as the man seemed to be aware of the existence of someone around him. Realizing that Candy stepped closer to the guy.

"Ah, I'm disturbing, huh? Sorry," said Candy as gently as possible. "But your piano playing is really good" he said again.

"Hey, why shut up?" Candy asked confusedly.

Feeling ignored, Candy sighed and intended to turn to the outside of the room. However, he had just walked a few steps a sound hit his sense of hearing.

"Lo see?!"

Candy stopped, she turned her body back— stared at the guy sitting on his back. "Yes?" Candy was confused.

The guy turned around, now he was sitting facing Candy who was standing a few steps away from him. Netra Chocolate Candy reciprocates face to face with Netra as dark as night belongs to the guy who sits on the piano bench.

For a moment, Candy was silent staring at the flat face that was staring back at her. His feelings turned turbulent as he realized who was sitting in front of him now.

"You, Regaz," said Candy in a small voice.

"Gue asked, did you see?!" The bloke stood up, and walked over to Candy—ia asking full of emphasis.

"Yes-eh? M-masud me ..." Candy began to retreat regularly as Regaz approached her with a sinister look on her face. Wait, is this the Regaz he's admired for the past two years? But, why should he be this scared?

Candy's footsteps were restrained by the door that was located behind her. While Regaz, the man pulled the corner of his lips forming a cynical smile. He supports girls who presumptuously see the fragility side. All this time, only this place was safe for Regaz to cool his head. Now, however, a little mouse bravely entered the lion's den.

"Denger," Regaz brought his face closer. It made Candy close her eyes tightly, she was scared. Candy could feel a hot sigh on her cheek, until a soft voice whispered in her ear. "Awas aja if you dare to talk to people about it," whispered Regaz.

"No! I'm not going to frown" said Candy cut off by a big hand cupping her mouth rough.

"Gue's not done talking! So don't try to cut me off! If you dare to talk to people about it," Regaz smiled sweetly, very sweetly. Until Candy is made goosebumps by that smile. "Gue was able to do it right then and there!" His his hiss pushed Candy's body, before he left the room.

Candy fell silent. Both of his hands were sweating coldly and trembling. His feet fell to the floor. His tears fell, he cupped his mouth so that his stuffing was not heard.

And at that time also his admiration for the last two years on the figure of Regaz—t not a bit left. It was just the fear he felt. And then, for the Olympics? It has to be what?

ooo

The sun has returned to its unity. Candy opened the chocolate door until it creaked, the shoes were accidentally not removed because the house was still based on dry land. He continued to step inside.

Today was really exhausting. Three repetitions in one day, plus events in the music room. His brain was really hot to use for thinking, and his eyes were really heavy after crying earlier. And now her life is threatened. The girl breathed tired.

"Have you come home?" A voice greeted him from the kitchen.

The middle-aged woman wearing the green negligee looked busy with her dough. Candy ran to shake his hand.

"Already, Mom," the two corners of her lips lifted into a smile, to disguise her fatigue. "Here's the cake. Let it be Eli, "Eli is Candy at home.

His routine after struggling with school lessons is struggling with dough. Candy's not a cook. He only made the usual food stalls in the school cafeteria in the morning.

Instead of showing the dough that was usually prepared by his mother, the middle-aged woman actually took off a large bag on his back. Her clenched hand pushed Candy into the bathroom.

"Later, Mom. Candy's hungry, eat first."

"Hungry?"

Candy replied with a nod. Eight hours during school made his stomach rumble to be filled. Plus he missed his break. Also, he is not always given pocket money like children in general. Apparently, his family's economic system is lacking.

Aware of the needs of his child, his mother pulled a chair near the stove.

"Yes, I ate first. Today I got sustenance. We can eat tofu, Eli."

Candy's eyes sparkled hearing that. Know it?

"Woah, it must be delicious."

Viewing in their daily side dishes only onions fried with salt. Know it is luxurious for them. Candy never demanded to serve this. Given the opportunity to breathe today alone he was already very grateful.

In an instant a plate of rice perked with a side dish that Candy craved presented in front of him.

"How's school?" Ask Mom in between her activities.

"Good, Mom. Eli, three daily repetitions."

His eyes instead looked at the figure that had snorted before him. That tiredness is really not hidden. Guilt without hesitation hit him hard.

Candy once volunteered to break up and help her mother work. The school was expensive, although he received a scholarship in the form of UST waivers.  Candy could not bear to see her mother banti bone for the sake of their stomach at her age.

But, his mother is still his mother. He is stubborn and not easily swayed if he wants. Permission to drop out of school Candy doesn't get.

"Oh, yes," he took off his spoon and sidetracked his pocket. "So from the sale of cakes can be 55 thousand. Mbok Lim said, sell it all."

He gave the money from the sale of the cake that was left yesterday to the cafeteria. His mother accepted with a smile.

"Laris, huh?"

"Yes dong. Who did it before? Elise."

He chuckled as a warm elusan dropped by his head. In these moments the evaporated energy is replenished. His heartbreak was wiped out. Candy whispers hope silently. He didn't ask for much. Just let his mother breathe until he can achieve success and make her happy.
