VIOLIN

The violin is one of the few musical instruments that can fit perfectly into any musical stream. From Pop, Rock, Blues, Jazz, Swing, Tote, Ska, what else? Bring a hundred songs and I'll put the violin into a hundred.

According to one of my friends Ramadhania Aladin, (I used to call her Nia) The key is only one.

“Play that violin, which is important the way it is entered is right, so that its presence does not damage the already existing song. It depends on our intelligence.”

Hmm, so it all comes back to the player, doesn't it?

But if Nia I believe, she's one of the most talented young violins I've known since I got into this town. She comes from a musical family, even her grandmother—aku misses her grandmother's cooking, especially her apple pie—was a famous pianist of her time.

I remember on certain nights I sometimes sat in a performance hall, or looking at a TV screen where the sound was blaring. I saw Nia playing the violin. As enjoyed every friction and followed every rhythm.

And I used to watch him play the violin not with the classical rhythm alone. I've seen him play with Ari Lasso in the song “Mystery Divine”, I've seen him play with Caffeine in the song “Bidadar” and the song “Yang Never Dead.”, I've seen him play with Caffeine in the song Bidadari, then with Pas Band he participated in the song “Tak Ever Ada”, including also with the group Padi and Aryo in the song “Second Seventh.”

Other times I've also seen him with Aa Gym playing Islamic religious songs, and I've also seen him play music created by Kenny G in a hotel ballroom.

Of course, it is not always Nia who is my view, but also the violin.

Like now when I was looking at the sky, I heard the sound of the violin in my ears. Well, this violin has always resonated. I want to cover my ears but I enjoy it myself, even though I don't know who is playing it

From the play alone I can admit how the violin can beautifully perform different songs. He played the song “My December.” Linking Park, then continued to “This I Promise You.” from N’Sync. Now he plays the creation of Alanis Morisette, if not wrongly titled “Unsent.”

I memorized the lines of this song. I thought Alanis made it out of real letters she didn't have time to send, maybe to her friend, maybe to her boyfriend. There were already names of several men, and from the verses it was like describing all those men once had something special from and for Alanis

On Matthew he said “I like you a lot.” On Jonathan he said “I like you too much.” On Terrance he said “I love you muchly.” On Marcus he said “You rocked my world.” On Lou he said “We learned so much.”

There are five names that I believe the five must be different properties. Love can easily touch them, right?

Ah, is the violin like love? Can you stop by the flow of the heart that is shaped like anything? Maybe also, because both love or violin are equally creative anyway, equally delicious touched at once slippery and can be played at any time.

I closed my eyes, the violin was still in the groove, still with the song “Unsent”. While I enjoyed it with solitude. I remembered someone in the rainy city, as I kept shut I imagined his face.

What should I write for him while the violin is still playing?

Eh... is this not a love that flows?

THEM

Last night really went down in the fleeting city always without a smile. The night descended among the boisterous streets, glittering or dim lights, among the sighted city bus passengers (without a smile). With sweaty, tired, smelly and fragrant faces scattered among them. People meet and part with no agreement. The night had also gone down at a table.

“So you can play the violin?”

“Ngg, but may I see you play sometime?”

“How?”

“Hugely difficult! You just play here, later I prepare the time.”

Raya just shrugged her shoulders. Smiling, sipping her milk coffee and looking up at the stage. Actually he wanted to be alone tonight, but he also could not chase away the girl in front of him.

From the conversation earlier, Raya already knew that Anjeli was the son of the owner of this place. Then he thought Anjeli could not be expelled from before him. In fact, maybe Anjeli should have kicked him out.

But Raya felt like she was doing nothing. So he just sat down, watched the stage, enjoyed every beat. Pay attention to the table, enjoy every gulp and chew. Until Anjeli breaks the daydream

“Eh, so when can you start playing?”

“This is serious?”

“Yes, just if you want, mind no?”

Raya smiled. All those years he learned the violin was actually just for

“I don't mind.”

“So next week huh?”

Kingdom smile again “We see yes, later I will tell you again before next week.”

“OK, Deal!” Anjeli smiled satisfied “just look for me here, I'm here every night.”

She smiled again. Thinks. If the girl in front of him is here every night, where am I going to be every night? In fact, the question suddenly slipped and appeared.

Meetings always leave mysterious questions.

Do mysterious questions need answers, too?
