Chapter 79

"How is my wife, Doc" I said.

"Let's come with me inside" the doctor asked and I followed him from behind.

The families are waiting outside.

"Sorry, Pa Alfa. I tried as much as possible but fate said otherwise, Mother Sese miscarried" said the doctor.

Like lightning, my heart is empty. Moreover, this ordeal, has not finished my problem with Sese, there are only problems that come.

"Pa Alfa" the doctor called me.

"Yes, doc"

"See's mom's still asleep, Pa. For the situation later I leave it to Pa Alfa"

I just nodded. I don't know what I'll do later. I went out to tell both my parents and Om Rio. My mom and Mama Sese were crying.

I heard my mother's voice "Sese, my son is patient, baby". Beside my mother there was a mama Sese who was crying. I was surprised by my mother who was more shocked than Mama Sese.

I went back in and saw that Sese was awake.

"Se" I said and he turned.

"How's our son?" tanyanya direct. I had no power to tell him, my tears came down and I hugged him.

"Se, sorry. He has returned to the Creator" I said.

There was no crying but the clothes I was wearing were wet. I know the broken heart of a mother who just lost her child. I hug her body a little bit. It's all my fault, I'm the one making things heavy.

"I want to go home" he said.

I took off my embrace. "You sure?" I said. No answer came out of his mouth, Sepi. "Well, I'll call the doctor first".

I walked out and immediately looked for Doctor Tika, telling my wife's wishes.

"But, Mr. Alfa. Sese's mother is still not well again to be monitored" said doctor Tika told me about Sese's condition.

"Sorry, doc. I asked for his permission" only that word could come out of my mouth. I don't want to argue with the doctor. I know what's on Sese's mind now.

"Good, Mr. Alfa. But if there is a possibility of something happening please immediately be taken to the hospital"

"I'll take you to my mom's house" I said. But just as it had passed, again there was no answer

Arriving at the house of Sese's family, Sese immediately opened the car door without waiting for me. He walked fast.

"Se" said Mama.

I saw Sese just nod and pass Mama who was standing at the door. I immediately walked following Sese's footsteps.

"Ma, Alpha up first yes" I said goodbye to Mama.

"Yes, Fa. Mama asked to be taken care of by someone"

I've reached Sese's room. I heard from outside what was going on in the room. The sound of a mother who has just lost her child.

I'm satiated. Be ill. I paused my intention to open the door. I went back downstairs to let Sese spill all her grief.

"What's up, Fa?" mama asked to see me down.

"There's nothing, Ma. Just let Sese calm down" I said giving an excuse. Fortunately, my mother understood.

"Alfa, let's eat. You haven't eaten since you got to the airport?"

I've forgotten that for most of the day I haven't touched a thing called "food". My hunger is overcome by guilt.

I followed Mama to the dining room. Mama's trying to get me to eat.

"It's not necessary, Ma. Let Alpha take it" I said subtly..

"Good, Fa. You eat a lot. Mama rest first. Tired of today"

"Yes, Ma" I said. Mama went back to her room and I ate the food that was in front of her eyes. Right, today is tired.
