Sharing Love: Puspita East & West
Chapter 025: The Streets

"We arrived, we arrived," cried Hanif cheerfully, "Umma, we arrived."

"Yes, be careful, yes," said Aminah softly, "Let's not fall."

"Syarif, let's run to get there," Hanif encouraged. His hand pointed at the top of the hill that looked high. Sharif agreed. Running is one of their favorite games. A moment later, they had already dashed to the designated spot.

"Kids are indeed a lot of energy," Maimunah who participated in the trip smiled faintly. He brought some of the supplies they had prepared for lunch.

"True, they really like heroes since it runs smoothly," Amir brought the rest of the supplies while paying Aminah. Since getting off the horse-drawn carriage, he did not let go of his wife's hand for a second. Aminah was comfortable pampered by her husband.

Once they reached a large enough saung, they also spread the mat. Amir and Maimunah put down the supplies they brought, then rest there. The place they chose was perfect for enjoying the view.

"Ami," call the delicate Amir. He wanted to know all the complaints of his wife so far. There is Maimunah here. The old woman was a wise advisor.

"I ..," surely Aminah had a thousand grievances in her heart. She is the wife of a leader. She should be able to live a luxurious and relaxed life with all the status and wealth that her husband has. However, he knew that the afterlife was more meaningful. All that wealth is better used for the smooth propagation of the dai in this beautiful land of Jawi.

Aminah did not complain in the least about the living she received from her husband. The woman who was pregnant was only complaining about the condition of her body that was getting heavier. He was tired and lethargic. However, he could still endure all of that.

"Ami, from tomorrow, let me do your job" Maimunah immediately replied when he heard the complaint. He did not want his nephew and future grandson in danger. It is a form of love for the family.

"You just rest" added Maimunah, "It's not like the child will be born soon. You have to take good care of your health."

"But, Aunt ...," Aminah felt bad.

"True, Ami," Amir supported Maimunah's offer, "You must rest a lot. Take good care of your health."

"Hm," Maimunah nodded, "After all, Asya has been able to adapt well. There would be no problem even if I cut back on my visits to him."

"Asya ..," said Aminah quietly until not heard by Amir and Maimunah. To be honest, the existence of Anastasia was the complaint she wanted to make the most. However, he tried to resist the feeling because he knew that there would be a reward that he would get later. That reward is heaven. He wants to go back there with his whole family.

"Umma, Umma," the call of Sharif and Hanif immediately diverted Aminah from that thought. He turned his head and found the two boys running into the saung where he was sheltering. The clothes the two boys wore were already dirty with dust and soil.

"Sharif, Hanif," Aminah looked at her two sons who had now arrived in front of the saung, "Who have you done? How dirty is that?"

"..."

"Syarif pushed me into the abyss" Hanif reported. Hearing that, Sharif did not accept and replied, "You used to act."

"I didn't do anything" Hanif argued.

"You wanted to ignore me earlier," Sharif replied in self-defense, "I'm going to accidentally push you. You dragged me inside, too."

"Ka ..," Hanif almost recounted his brother's words, but Aminah interrupted first, "Kids, you're okay, right? Someone's sick, isn't it?"

"No" answered Sharif spontaneously.

"My knee hurts," while Hanif complained about the wound on his leg.

Aminah got up and examined the wound. Fortunately, the wound was only a minor wound. While cleaning it, the umma said, "Other times, play carefully, yes."

"Hm," Hanif and Sharif nodded slowly.

"Hais ...," Amir came down from the saung. He also cleaned the dirty clothes of Sharif. Sharif did not refuse this time. He let his brother approach him.

The sun climbed up the sky quickly. Amir told me a lot to spend time with his family. He told how great the companions of the prophet were in the early days of the Islamic revival. The way to convey the story is very unique so that it can invite the listener to adventure as if to come alone to the story.

Maimunah took out the supplies she was carrying. He prepared a side dish while hearing Amir's exciting story. Not to forget, he made a sweet tea.

"Obah, Abah," called Sharif cheerfully, "I want to be Uthman ibn Affan. I want to be a generous rich merchant."

"I want to be Khalid bin Walid" Hanif did not want to lose, "I want to be a commander who never loses."

Amir chuckled at hearing it. He was proud of his two sons. They had noble aspirations from an early age. That is proof that he managed to educate his children to date. Well, although sometimes Sharif and Hanif still like to do naughty and selfish.

Aminah smiled softly at the spirit of her children. His affection and love grew higher and greater to overshadow the feelings of others. He feels calm. Gratitude was spoken in his tongue, pensive solemn in his heart.

Well, he's very grateful. His family is endowed with sweet harmony. What a blessing does Ar-Rahman give to every servant.
