Sharing Love: Puspita East & West
Peace and Rustiness

The heat of the sun stings the earth. Even a strong wind cannot defeat him. That afternoon, Aminah and Asya chatted as usual. A set of tea utensils accompanied them in a discussion about the past.

“Islam is the religion of prophets and apostles. In all, they are all Muslims, a religion that calls upon the Almighty God, none other than He,” Aminah read a thick book containing the treatises of the apostles while filling her time with Asha, “Includes Prophet Adam, Ibrahim, Moses, and Isa alaihimus greetings, while the cover of the prophets and apostles is Prophet Muhammad salallahu alaihi wa sallam.”

Aminah uses a soft tone of voice, easy vocabulary, and a smile that is always friendly. He will explain whatever Asya asks as long as it is within the range of his knowledge.

“The preaching of the prophets and apostles did not always go smoothly, there were many trials and obstacles that they had to face. Not infrequently they have to deal with the rulers of the unjust country again cruel. Among them even to wonder when the help of Allah comes, while the help of Allah is near.”

Aminah tells one by one the stories of the prophets and apostles ulul azmi. From these stories, each reader can certainly take a meaningful and wise lesson. In every difficulty, there is ease. That is one of the wisdom in between. After Aminah finished reading the story of the previous apostles, she began to tell the treatise of Prophet Muhammad SAW.

“Muslim historians write the era before the apostolate of Prophet Muhammad SAW, as the time of Jahiliyah. It was because of the low morals and morals of the people there,” Aminah said as she looked up at the sky as if she could penetrate the horizon of time that had passed, “I've told you about the condition of the women of that era. Weak women are always subject to social discrimination, while strong and rich women live as they please.”

“Yes, the situation is not much different from the conditions in Lojie,” reply Asya who briefly recalled the conditions in his hometown, especially in the environment of the lower class nobles like his family. Women are born for political purposes only. As for the upper class women, they give and dress makeup, showing her beauty to the high caste public to get false compliments. They just do blind pleasures that sooner or later will bring great harm to themselves as well as to the public.

“Prophet Muhammad SAW sent to menyempurkan akhlak,” continued Aminah who now looks directly at Asya, “One of them with sharia to close the aurat for men and women. Each has different restrictions.”

Aminah also explained the limits of the aurat to Asya. For men, the aurat boundaries from the navel to the knee, while women cover the entire body except the face and palms. Then the question arises. Why is the woman's aura wider?

“That's because a woman's body is a piece of jewelry that must be guarded. You must understand why I call it jewelry, right?” Aminah. He went back to explain after Anastasia nodded, “If a piece of jewelry is just spread, there will definitely be people trying to steal it. Therefore, the jewelry should be hidden and well guarded.”

“Pre-Islamic Arab women used to not hijab either. So, it is not appropriate to say that the hijab is an Arab culture. Hijab is an Islamic law. Every Muslim woman should close her aura as suggested, both Arab and non-Arab,” Aminah suddenly discussed the issue even though Asya did not ask for it. Well, even Asya did not mind that explanation.

“What Brother does not get sultry wearing hijab every day?” chirp Asya after the explanation of the hijab is finished. Aminah also laughed a little, then replied, “Hm .. sultry anyway, but I'm used to it. Therefore, I prefer at home, especially if the weather is hot like this afternoon.”

Aminah also continued her reading about the treatise of Prophet Muhammad SAW, after finishing discussing about hijab and women in Islam. Once they finished learning, they chatted together, laughed, and told stories. They only stopped after Hanif and Sharif came, then challenged Asya to train a match.

...***...

“Thank you for coming to bring this letter, Sir Raiziger,” said a blue-eyed man with a gallant stature, “This remains important even though the contents are useless.”

“Mr Diaz, what will we do after this?” asked Schultz who was kneeling with his face down. He had been riding a horse for three days in a row at full speed. Although still in a state of fatigue, he was still eagerly awaiting his revenge.

“Nothing? Then, why do we do all these investigations?” Schultz also questioned the purpose of the missions he carried out. He was tired of coming here and there to challenge danger. Many times he was almost caught, even killed.

“Gathering information. It may be useless for now, but it will be useful in the future,” Diaz stared sharply at Schultz. He grinned sinisterly as he looked at the flames of anger in the young man's eyes. Instantly, an idea popped into his head. “What is there you expect?”

Schultz did not answer. He was silent for quite a while. Emotions that have been hoarded are in compound, united to form the most concentrated. His hands were clenched firmly, he then said, “But the bastards!”

“Heh, I love your spirit,” Diaz chuckles. He knew that it was impossible. However, the ambition of this boy must still be utilized, “Bawa this to Pakuan. It's more useful in their hands.”

Schultz received a small dark band. It did not protest at all even though it continued to be thrown around like this. For the sake of being able to avenge him, he was willing to do anything, even though he had to dig his own grave.

When Schultz reached the nearby camp of Pakuan, he was not immediately accepted. His poor language skills are enough to make it difficult. After meeting Pakuan who understood his words, then he was taken to face a commander.

“It turns out Lojie still wants to find face,” said a burly man with a satirical tone. Unfortunately, Schultz did not really understand his point. After the translator explained the words, then he replied, “Please excuse me, Kisanak. We were ambushed by the Java Land Alliance when it was about to dock in Kalapa. There was no other way but to retreat back then. I was caught by them too. If only I could not escape, I would probably continue to languish in their midst.”

“I can understand. If only we could have lasted longer back then, surely you guys would have been fine too,” the commander clutched his forehead, they feel that everything will remain in vain even though they have received the information Schultz shared.

“Kisanak, we must not give up. Gather your troops and use that gap to avenge the Java Land Alliance,”, Schultz urged the commander to keep helping him.

“Yes, you are right, Knight,” the commander exhaled, “Let me first talk about this matter with the great commander.”

“We must move as quickly as possible before the Java Land Alliance fills that gap. If we hesitate, it could be there will never be a chance to advance,” Schultz instigated full of confidence, “At the very least, give me the troops to storm there. I'll make sure you'll make good progress in this war.”

The commander was silent. He did not like Schultz's request much, but he did not deliver. The young man's words were tantamount to making fun of his estimation. He who is a senior commander seems to be unable to make decisions wisely.

“Just wait to hear from me,” said the commander, “We will meet again in the near future.”

Schultz is welcome to leave. When the tent was quiet, the commander immediately wrote a letter. He also asked his best courier to deliver the letter as quickly as possible to the great commander. He still needs approval to give control of the army to foreigners.
