Chapter 62

Ella felt her heart pound as the nurse helped Ella lie in bed and prepared to be examined by a doctor. There was an ambush of shame and unease that swept into her heart when someone other than her husband saw the area of her stomach.

"That's all, son. Let me compensate for your loss. Name your account number. Right now I will replace ten times that loss of yours, too," Yuda said as he looked at the woman coldly. The woman's words were addressed to Ella but Papa Yuda was offended.

In the elevator. Ella was still pictured with the woman's face. It's like she's seen that woman, but Ella forgot where she was.
