The roar of the car engine echoed in the courtyard of the luxury house. Legs are invited down the mount immediately and then take a step toward the building that stands gallantly.
"Where is that woman?" ask Axton without making small talk.
Bugs!
Darling, not an answer he got but a fist in the face. The punch from Nathan did not make him fall, but managed to tear the corner of his left lip. Gruffly rubbed fresh blood there then stared sinisterly at the man in plain sight.
"Ck! You want revenge."
"That punch wasn't for revenge, but as a lesson because you've been bad to Naora!"
Though Nathan has prepared himself not to be overpowered by emotions, but in fact it is difficult to live. Remembering, Naora who is now lying weak because of the actions of her best friend, making her out of control.
"You have no right to interfere in my domestic affairs!"
"I'm just trying to act as a man who wants to protect a woman."
Axton squinted at the corner of his lips, forming a cynical smile. "You don't have to bother, 'cause she's my wife."
"The wife you're going to divorce." Nathan confirms and reminds me of a word that was spoken directly from Axton's tongue a few days ago.
"That's my business." Axton suddenly looked at Nathan with an indecipherable glare. "Why? Are you expecting that divorce?" He smiled back cynically. "Stupid! Why am I still asking? Clearly, your relationship is no longer just a relationship between a boss and a secretary. You guys even played lips. You betrayed me, Nathan," he accused without asking for an explanation.
"I betrayed? I don't think your accusation is true because I didn't know Naora was your wife before. You're the fool, Axton! Why didn't you tell me who your second wife was. While at the restaurant a few days ago, you also let me look like a piggy goat in front of you!"
Axton was silent. This time he confirmed the words of his friend.
"Originally you know, Naora's not wrong. I was the one who suddenly kissed him without asking permission first. So don't think badly of him. She is a woman who is very respectful and self-respectful" Nathan explained, trying to straighten out misunderstandings.
Again, the cold-faced man like an iceberg on the Antarctic highlands was speechless. His brain suddenly regained the memory of every rude accusation he made to Naora.
'Little woman!' Those two words are often used as knives to tear Naora's soft heart. Axton begins to be veiled by a sense of regret in the chest.
While on the other hand, Nathan realized the look of his best friend's face that looks passive. From there he was sure, that there were many bad things that Axton had done to Naora so far.
"This silence of yours makes me even more convinced that you've never been gentle with Naora, Axton." The shady man threw a sanctioned gaze. "I never prayed for a divorce between you and Naora. After all, you're my best friend. Wishing you happiness is certain. But ... don't blame me if one day my shoulder is able to be a comfortable backrest for Naora because of your own actions."
The line of beautiful sentences from Nathan's lips is not just a wise speech, but also a firm utimatum but very smooth. And that, successfully made the heart of Axton eroded. Although, he was still confined by the doubts of the heart that seemed reluctant to disappear.
"Where is Naora, I have to take her home." I don't know where the inherent arrogance of the self goes. Axton's voice no longer sounded full of anger. What is, he wants to get out of the subject of the conversation cornered him now.
"It's not like your wife is home. Lana the meek woman you love so much" Nathan quipped. Apparently he didn't want to give up Naora immediately.
"Quite a joke, Nathan. Quickly tell me where Naora is!" Just now his anger had decreased a little, now he had to go back out. Axton is getting impatient. Anxiety in the heart is still running.
Sharp cuts were instantly imprinted on Axton's pair of eyebrows, along with suspicious mimicry that re-wrapped his handsome face. Nathan clucked his tongue because he saw the reaction of his best friend's face.
"Why? You don't like hearing that?" the strangeness.
Not wanting to respond to Nathan's babble that continues to provoke his emotions, Axton began to act ignorant and chose to bring his feet to the room where Naora was. Although he had tucked a speck of suspicion about the position of the woman who is now in another man's bed, but it seemed no more meaningful than his desire to be able to immediately see the state of Naora.
"Ck! even though we're friends, he just wants to play in my room" Nathan grumbled between his steps following Axton.
"Naora," she said. Axton clings and invites eyes to look at Naora from head to toe, making sure there are no scratches on his body. However, the pain in the forehead indicates that a big question mark is filling his brain when he realizes the deathly hue that adorns Naora's deep face.
"What's going on? She why?" He rested his palms on Naora's cheeks and forehead. "He's so hot."
"Why do you look so concerned now? Isn't this your will?" nathan was still very upset. Given the state of Naora who shivered in disdain under the sadistic rain at night, even to the point of fainting, anyone can guess that it was Axton's actions.
"Stop cornering me, Nathan. Tell him why," he urged. He was also upset by Nathan's attitude which he thought was too much to talk about.
"How would I have been if I had been a little late. He must have been lying on the side of the road because he fainted. You can imagine, a woman walking alone under the rain, not to mention passing through the quiet and dark area, continued to suddenly faint on the side of the road, it is very dangerous, Axton! You have no heart! What kind of husband are you? If only it wasn't my best friend, I'd have beaten you to death." Nathan is back.
Axton was again silenced. Helplessly dodging the pouncing regret.
"The doctor said he had a fever, and the cure was there" Nathan said, pointing to the nightstand.
"I'll take him home." After scooping the drug, Axton immediately cradled Naora's frail body with great care. The woman didn't even show any agitation at all.
"It's still raining outside." Nathan reminded.
"You're gonna have to paddle me to the car."
"You're asking for help?"
"Not for help, but say."
"That's right."
"Hurry now!" Axton bounces away while carrying Naora.
