In a special room HRD, Alexindo Corp.
"Sorry sir, wasn't I accepted to work as an accounting staff at this company before?" Naora asked Hendrawan, as the company's HRD leader who was sitting across from the desk. Again he wanted to convince his hearing that might have been wrong.
"Yes, we originally planned to put you in the finance division. However, at the direct request of the company leadership, you were transferred to the front liner as our leader's personal secretary" Hendrawan said.
"But sir, I still don't have enough skills as the CEO's personal secretary. As a freshman graduate student, this was my first experience working directly in the field. Has the company considered that?"
"Our leadership must have considered everything before deciding. You don't have to worry, there will be one senior employee who will direct you."
Naora was only able to nod her head. At least, there will be someone who will guide him. However, there is still a big question in the cranium. Why was he suddenly placed as the company's leader's personal secretary? He knows very well, there must be special stages and work experience requirements that are sufficient in order to occupy the position, especially in large companies such as Alexindo Corp.
The sound of the door knocking suddenly rippled out, attracting the attention of the two occupants of the room. "Come in" said Hermawan.
A formally dressed woman with glasses perched on her nose is seen poking out from behind a door leaf. "Excuse me Mr. Hermawan, Mr. Alex asked Ms. Naora to meet him now" reported Bella who served as the company's senior CEO secretary.
Hermawan smiled faintly along with a light nod as a sign of understanding. Then he led his attention to Naora. "You go with Bella. He's the one who's gonna direct you later" he said.
"Good, Sir. Then excuse me first." Naora stood up from the chair. He nodded at a glance as a form of courtesy to Hermawan before resigning from the room.
"Miss Naora, come with me." Bella directs.
"Good." Naora followed Bella out of the room.
Along the legs down the office corridor, Bella several times observed the calm-looking Naora. Tense face and cold sweat, not even found in his junior secretary.
"You look so calm on your workday, Miss Naora," Bella tried to open the conversation with a cold face. And Naora certainly realized that.
Smiling faintly, Naora shook her head faintly. Marking what Bella said is not entirely true.
"I'm actually very nervous."
"Remain about to meet our CEO?"
"No, Miss Bella."
"Then?"
"Rump up because Miss Bella from earlier didn't smile at me at all."
A smile immediately framed Bella's face. "You're really interesting, Miss Naora. Looks like this is why Mr. Alex asked you to be his private secretary."
…
In the other corner of the room. A handsome man stood gallantly and took a look outside the glass wall. Enjoy the bustle of the streets of the Capital, while talking to flat objects attached to his ears.
"Why is it so hard to meet you?" the man was heard protesting to his interlocutor across the phone.
"What else do you want? Want to force me back to win your project tender?"
The man is grieving. "This time it's not that, but you owe me an explanation."
"What explanation?"
"You remarried but didn't tell me. Do you think I'm dead?!"
"That's because you're still in England."
"Reason! You can still tell me over the phone. You have forgotten me."
"It's as chatty as a woman."
"Later in the evening we met in the lounge as usual. We haven't seen each other in a long time. We should have missed each other. Spend the night together."
"You crazy guy, Alex! I don't want to see you any more" hardened someone from behind the phone.
Instead of being offended, the man named Alex just laughed broken. "There's nothing wrong with missing my best friend. We haven't seen each other in 2 years."
"Give it!"
The sound waves of knocking on the door instantly distracted the man.
It must be him coming, his mind looks happy. He was also waiting for someone to come.
"Well, I turned off the phone." The thumb that was about to turn off the call immediately petrified because the interlocutor turned out to have decided on the call first. "His habits have not changed. You human refrigerator!" his gerrick.
The sound of knocking on the door again reprimanded him, demanding a response from him. Spring he dropped the body on the throne chair. Continue turning back to the work desk. Take one deheman before making a sound.
"Come in."
There was the sound of door knobs opening, followed by the sound of a slow knocking of high heels entering the workroom.
"Good morning, sir. I'm the new secretary who will work for you. Sorry to keep you waiting."
The owner of the soft voice, Naora, was already standing not far from the workbench. It might be three steps from there. The woman was waiting for a response from her boss.
It did not take long, the chair that was originally still on his back began to rotate until it displayed a handsome face figure that had pinned a smile review on his pair of lips.
"Naora, how are you? I never thought we could meet again."
The man looked very pleased with his meeting with Naora. Seen from his smile that expands perfectly.
"I'm good, Sir. It's good to see you again."
The originally radiant face light slowly began to dim. Though he had imagined Naora's surprised face when he met her. In fact, the woman's reaction was beyond expectations. He looks very ordinary.
The man immediately stood up with one footing. Swinging the legs closer to Naora. He threw a pouting face at the woman.
A thin smile but seemed friendly, rising on her beautiful face. "I've known before about who is the leader in this company, sir,"
"really? since when and where do you know?" The man wondered.
"Yes, Sir. I saw the company banner installed in the front lobby. There was a picture of Mr, and I asked a receptionist. And it was at that moment that I knew Mr. Alex was the leader of the company."
The man named Nathan Alexander smiled clumsily for a moment, scratching the nape of his neck which was clearly not itchy there. Maybe he forgot the existence of his promotional banner. He looks stupid in front of Naora.
"Ow, yes. Why did I forget that. But at least react a little surprised, Naora. You make me look stupid in front of you. I'm a CEO but look stupid in front of his new secretary"
Naora seemed to be poking her lips, holding back the laughter that could have come off at any moment. For now there is a formal attitude that must be maintained when still in working hours. What else is being with his boss.
"Sorry, Sir. I didn't mean to."
"Don't be arrested, Naora."
A pair of Naora's eyebrows looked slightly raised, forming a questionable face. "I'm sorry, what, sir who can't be arrested?"
"Smile. You tried to hold it in, I know that. Is it possible that you're covering the chili that's stuck in your teeth?"
Naora's roaring voice instantly detached from her ripe lips. Showing a row of white teeth in between his smile. Nathan's prank seemed to tickle his stomach.
Naora's smile looked beautiful on her graceful face. Once again, Nathan was fascinated.
He just smiled a little, and I felt like I was floating. I want to cover her face with my lips. It's so adorable.
"Are you teasing me with your smile?"
A smile that was sweetly reviewed on the lips suddenly fell, replaced by a face of guilt. "Sorry Mister. I didn't mean to tease you."
Now replace the laughing Nathan. "I'm just kidding, Naora. You are forbidden to pout in front of me."
"Good, Sir."
"Why are you being so formal in front of me?"
"Because you are my boss."
"What if I ask you to talk more casually to me?"
"Isn't that disrespectful, sir? What else in the working hours."
Nathan seemed to think for a moment. "You'll let me talk a little more if it's just the two of us."
"But, Sir."
"No buts."
"Good, Sir."
"Yes, you can go back to your place. I'll have lunch later."
"Lunch?"
"Yes, I want you to accompany me."
…
In another corner of the city, in a skyscraper owned by Sanders Corp. Axton looked grim with a cell phone in his hand. Ignoring the sheets of work that are scattered on the table. The man had already sent a few short messages to Naora's phone number, but had not gotten a reply either. Makes him unfocused at work.
What is he doing now? I'm sure he's smashing a smile in front of his boss. Just be careful if that happens. I'll punish him. He never even smiled in front of me.
Axton paused the monologue on his mind. Calm the mind that he did not know what was the cause. Really, he was frustrated just from thinking, Naora.
Not long after he returned to draw attention to the screen of his phone. Opening the green chat app, send a message to Naora.
^^Axton:^^^
^^^Prepare, I'll take you to lunch later.^^^
Put the phone back on the table. Bringing one hand up the chin, and the other hand invites all five of its big fingers to make several beats alternately on the surface of the table. The man was waiting for a reply from Naora.
Up to a twang of message notification from the phone, demanding the hand to touch it immediately. I am very confident that the message was a reply from Naora.
Brak!
A sense of disbelief aroused his emotions. Hand support does one rough buzz on the table. As a form of emotional outburst.
"How dare he reject me!" axton growled after reading a message from Naora.
^^^Naora:^^^
^^^I'm sorry I can't.^^^
