Be Friends Again

Reza smiled to see Sita coming to buy food. It was not an accident that they met. It seems that God is helping him to unravel the problem of hidden love. To grow produces fragrant love flowers.

Sita was still silent. It was hard to move his lips to answer Reza's greetings. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Then he could return the greeting of the man who had made his heart tremble.

"Wa'alaikum greetings," replied Sita flatly.

Reza stood up and gave her seat to Sita. "Sit, Ta. Tired stood still. The queue is long."

Sita nodded, "Give me."

"Sama-sama," Reza replied briefly.

Silence is again the main setting among them. Where do you want to start? That's what's on each other's minds. Reza saw the chair next to Sita had just been empty.

Not wanting to waste a chance, Reza immediately sat down. Their heart is like a race on the field. Sita tried to shift her nervousness by playing mobile phone. But quickly Reza's hand took it.

"When do we want it to be like this, Ta?" asked Reza who had begun to dare to express his heart.

"I'm not going to say the same thing, Mom. Please give me back my phone," Pinta Sita with her hands up.

Reza looked at Sita's eyes at a glance. And the woman immediately lowered her gaze. With a heavy heart Reza gave her phone.

"May Mas Za ask for your number?" ask Reza pretend.

"Make what?" ask Sita.

"Mas Za wants us to be friends again like we used to be," Reza turned his head and kept staring at the face of the woman who was nourishing her soul.

"friends again? With me? Better not. I heard from Mas Dani you're going to apply for your candidate. I just don't want to be a destroyer of people's relationships" Sita said for reasons she thought were strong.

Reza was somewhat suspicious of Sita's words. A candidate? Let alone the future wife, close to women only not! This must be Dani's wits. Is his best friend trying to frame him or help him?

The fried rice merchant asked Reza for an order. Make their conversation stop for a moment. He ordered two servings of super spicy fried rice. Makes Sita think that one is for sure for her candidate. But when Reza says eaten on the spot, makes Sita hesitant over his thoughts. Then who's one for?

Reza's order is done. He gave one plate to Sita.

"Cock the plate was given to me?" ask Sita confused.

Reza did not answer. He began to feed a spoonful of rice into his mouth. Sita hesitated to eat it or let the food go.

"Alhamdulillah. Thank you," replied Sita in accordance adab in Islam.

Reza smiled as she chewed. He won this time. Because he knew very well that Sita would not dare to refuse people's gifts. In the Islamic religion, if a person is given sustenance, he should give thanks. Sita began to eat the super spicy fried rice.

The memory that once happened rotates. Describe the past story between the two. The laughter that had always dominated the situation, flashed in front of them. Unknowingly a serving of fried rice had already entered perfectly into their mouths.

Now it was Sita's turn to be asked about her order. Reza paid for all the orders Sita and himself.

"Mas .., no need to be read. I can still pay for it myself." Sita was upset with Reza's attitude that seemed to play pay.

"I also want to treat your family, the time you pray that I treat. I'm going to the alpha, you want to drop something?" ask Reza.

"No, thanks! I don't want to order food with you again tomorrow!"

Sita's order is all. He headed straight for the road home and passed Reza again. It seemed like the man was intentionally to follow Sita's footsteps.

"Just pass, huh, Ta?" ask Reza.

"Yes," Sita answered briefly.

"What are your plans after graduation, Ta?"

"Not yet."

"Kok don't know yet? Sita who Mas Za knows his people is always planning you know."

"Yes, I'm not the Sita you know. Hey, stop trying to be friends with me again! Appreciate my decision!"

Reza stopped his steps. Make it left behind Sita. It's not easy to conquer that woman's heart now. But he has to try. He was already quite tormented by Sita's departure last time.

"I'm sorry that Mas Za made you uncomfortable. I just want us to be like before. What Mas Dani said was not true. Or maybe it's to make you jealous. If you refuse to be friends again, then what I'm offering isn't that."

Sita stopped to listen to Reza. Dani lied? The two-child widower did need to be beaten to be conscious. It was as if he was trapping Sita's feelings in an erratic atmosphere.

"Your departure made Mas Za aware, Ta. That, an important figure in our lives is not that we can feel its existence. Except for the person we could feel his loss. And you ..., are that important figure. If you choose us to be strangers, it doesn't matter. Let me hang on to the word sincere."

Reza continued his steps. Stop right in front of Sita. Giving chocolate Sita's favorite that is still sculpting. Then I say salma.

"Assalamu'alaikum's chat. Careful home, Ta."

Reza continued his footsteps. Speeding to get home soon. Not looking back at all. Honestly, he was injured getting treatment from Sita. But back again, it was his fault in the past. So now, he was ready to accept his punishment.

"Wa'alaikum salam," replied Sita limply.

He walked with a wagon towards the house. Stop looking at Reza's house. Then he breathed heavily. Arriving at home he immediately handed food to mbok Yem. He went into his room and looked.

Remembering his treatment of Reza. He thinks it's rude. Is he outrageous? Then what should he do? Should he open that old wound again? Is he ready to feel the pain?

Dani went into her room and sat down next to her sister. Now they feel lucky. Tortured by feelings. That's what makes them share their stories.

"It's not wrong Ta, if Mas prayed for Disa to reject the man earlier?" ask Dani honestly.

Sita looked up, "Mas Dani really did say that? Not good to know, Mum!"

"He-he-he. Is it really not Disa, Ta the person Mas Dani is waiting for?"

"Where does Sita know! Yes, if it is a soul mate, there is a way! Mas, you lied about the candidate mas Za, huh?"

Dani nodded, eager for Sita to throw sandals at her brother's face.

"He offered friendship again. What do you think, Mas?" ask Sita.

"Accept. You ever think why Disa refused Reza? That's because Disa knows how you feel, Ta. And it made Reza realize, her true love is not Disa."
