"OKs. So deal, yeah. From Monday on you officially work as my deputy secretary."
"Huh?"
Almira. The deal is not like that. When she was accepted to work, the personnel department said she would work there as the subsidiary's manager's intern secretary. Why did he suddenly turn into the vice secretary of the central company?
Damar chuckled at the shock on Almira's face. "Why?"
"Sir ...." Almira looked at the man before her with both hands resting on the table. "As far as I can remember, I'll be working as an intern secretary at a subsidiary."
He does not continue, but Damar learns that the girl is asking for an explanation.
"Mira, did you forget?" Damar brought his face closer, while Almira pulled his body back. This again made the young man laugh. "I'm boss. I am free to arrange whatever I want" he said proudly.
"Huf." Almira. "I can't. I'll work according to the previous rules. Or ... I chose to withdraw."
Finals. Damar knew the girl had a strong stance. If he forced her, then it was certain that they would no longer be able to meet. The man squinted at his temple, helpless.
"alright. Whatever makes you comfortable. You'll work as you please."
Almira finally breathed a sigh of relief. "Sister is the best" he said with a thumbs up.
Damar shook his head helplessly against the girl before him.
Zein who had noticed the two felt very angry. Both of his books were getting clenched tightly. He wanted to go to the two men, then drag Almira and show her real face in front of Hadi's grandfather. Luckily, he was still able to control his sanity sense.
Feeling quite late, Almira sipped his last coffee and said goodbye. "All right, Mr. Boss. Since everything is done, I have to go" he said, staring at the watch on his wrist.
There was a disappointed look on Damar's face. Why is time going so fast?
"Want me to take you?" bargain later.
Almira waved both hands. "No .. not necessary. I know big brother has a lot of business. Don't worry, Mira's place isn't far from here" he said.
Damar is increasingly disappointed, but what Almira says is true. He already had an appointment with a client, and it would be a shame to arrive late. Damar smiled faintly, at least his company did not pick the wrong employee. He believes Almira can work very well. Unfortunately ... he could not recruit this girl as his subordinate directly.
"All right, Miss Almira. Then, congratulations on working with our company."
The two shook hands while chuckling. Afterwards, the girl took the shoulder bag she had been carrying, and stood up to leave.
"Be careful, Mira." Damar.
"certain." Almira nodded while smiling, then turned around and left the restaurant.
***
The beautiful girl with a long black mane that was left unraveled stood at the corner of the road, waiting for a taxi to pass. Occasionally he looked at the watch on the wrist, because it had waited long enough but strangely no taxi passed. Almira had even tried to book an ojek online several times, but all were rejected. Almira was suspicious. He thought someone must have done it on purpose, but who?
"I have no enemies. Nor does it offend anyone," he murmured. He bit his lips, feeling a little scared.
Tiin's! Tiin's!
Suddenly, the sound of a car horn was heard while he was pensive. A luxurious black car stopped before him, but the glass door did not open. The girl stared strangely, what did the driver mean?
It might have nothing to do with me, he thought.
Almira ignored the car and turned her eyes elsewhere.
Zein smiled obliquely seeing the girl ignore him. He also lowered the glass window. "Lake in!" her word.
Almira looked around, and realized she was there. "Is this guy talking to me?" ogre.
Zein who saw no movement finally felt annoyed. He got out of his car and went to Almira.
"Are you deaf? Or wait for the street thugs to come up to you and enjoy the night with you!" snapped it.
Almira. He observed the man before him, feeling familiar but not familiar with him.
"Do we know each other?" questioningly. He was not used to strangers, let alone a man.
"You don't recognize me?"
Almira. "No," honestly.
"Sir, what are you doing! Unhand me!" almira shouted, not accepting the man's forced treatment.
"Follow, or I need to carry you," he said again, without refusal.
Almira surrenders. He let the man drag his hand, at least this time not as rough as before. He had not had time to dampen his shock, suddenly his body was pushed into the seat beside the steering wheel. Zein then closed the door hard, turning his steps to turn behind the wheel.
"Based on a madman!" Almira Umpat. To be honest, he was scared. Even though the man looked rich as well as handsome, he still felt wary. What if this guy had bad intentions for her? Sold, maybe? Almira shudders. Only after Zein entered and closed the door did he pretend to be calm.
"You who? Why did it suddenly come like a kidnapper? I never felt I knew you." Almira asked in annoyance.
"Kidnapper? Do I look like a criminal?" Zein's getting pissed.
"Criminals are now using a lot of looks to fool their prey" he replied fearlessly.
Zein glanced at the girl beside him, staring at him from top to bottom. Almira tightened her legs, she felt very nervous. 'What is this guy thinking?'
"It seems to be worth it." Zein grins.
Almira fear. "Whatchu mean? You want to sell me?" He panicked, then banged on the glass door. "Get me out! Stop car!"
"Shut up!" snapped Zein. He felt his concentration driving froth because of the behavior of the woman next to him.
"Can you not be noisy!"
Almira sobbing. "What do you want to do? I don't owe you, do I?"
Actually Zein really wanted to make this woman even more afraid. He thought, toying with Almira could make his anger subside a little. Strangey, seeing the face of this woman pale while sobbing fearlessly, making it heartless.
"Ck." He's clucking. "No one's going to sell you. I wouldn't have taken you if it wasn't for the sake of force, either" he said.
Zein is telling the truth. If it wasn't for her grandfather suddenly calling and asking her to pick up Almira, escorting her safely to her destination, she wouldn't have picked up the woman who had just conspired with her business opponent.
Almira breathes a sigh of relief. He stopped crying. The girl pulled the tissue in front of her, cleaned her tears in vain, then rubbed the snot that almost came out of her nose.
Zein frowned, but said nothing. Doesn't say that actually it's a little bit.
"Thank God. Who forced you to pick me up?" Almira looked questioningly at the man beside her. As he remembered, he had no one close. Except for Grandpa and Damar. Possibly ... Damar asked this guy to drive him?
It was unthinkable in the slightest in his mind that the man who drove him was Zein, Grandpa Hadi's granddaughter.
Zein grunts. He won't tell the truth. Just let the girl feel uneasy throughout the trip. Zein smiled in anguish.
"Miss, have you never heard this saying?"
Zein slows down the vehicle. He brought his face closer to Almira, then whispered, "many inquires can shorten life!"
Glekk! Almira swallowed her saliva with great difficulty. He pushed Zein who was grinning, and instantly fell silent.
Finally, along the way they spent with silence. Even until the two of them arrived in front of Almira's apartment, none of them said a word. Zein was satisfied with Almira's obedient attitude. He stopped the car right in front of that simple apartment.
Almira was again surprised. How did this man know where he lived? He had not even told her, but they had already arrived. Is he ... stalker? Almira shudders.
"Do you not want to go down?" The cold voice ripped Almira out of her mind.
"Oh, yes. I'm down."
Almira rushed down and closed the car door. He couldn't stay in the car any longer with the cold guy.
"Te--" He was just about to say thank you, when the windshield was closed and the four-wheeled vehicle was lightning-fast.
Woosh! Almira was stunned on the spot.
"Based on a madman!" he accused, then tidied his disheveled hair.
Almira rushes up and enters her apartment. He cleaned himself up and changed into his nightclothes before laying down on his beloved bed.
"Who was that guy? It's awful."
Almira was guessing about the figure who had driven her home, when drowsiness finally came. He also fell asleep in solitude.
