SECOND CHANCE: Grandpa's Choice Wife

SECOND CHANCE: Grandpa's Choice Wife
Grandpa Condition

After Husain's departure, Almira was finally awake. During the day, as usual, the weather was very hot. But sometimes the cold snaps through the white skin of Almira. For some reason, his feelings were restless. As if something bad was going to happen. The nurse had just left after checking and giving the medicine to Grandpa through an infusion tube. The heart rate on the computer indicates Grandpa's weakened state. Almira looked at Grandpa with a blank look. Various fears and fret continue to haunt his mind.

Drrrtt, .. drrrtt, ...

Almira's phone is vibrating. He went out of the room to receive a call that turned out to be from Damar. He came out in haste, not realizing that Husayn had arrived. Seeing his wife leave in a hurry, Husain quietly followed her.

"Hallo Damar, what's wrong?" greet Almira after raising the call.

"Is everything okay? He treated you well?" asked Damar with his worried-sounding tone.

"Don't worry Damar, everything's fine" Almira said.

"I'd better end it, Grandpa is alone. Thank you for worrying about me." Almira immediately ended her call, without waiting for approval from Damar.

Almira returned to the room in a hurry. The feeling grew more agitated, as if it was hard leaving Grandpa even for a moment.

Husain was still hiding behind the wall, with his hands clenched. He abandoned his intention to meet Grandfather, and decided to go to calm down.

Husain did not hear all of Almira's conversations with Damar, because Almira did not loudspeaker his calls.

But seeing the look on Almira's soft face plus a few words of Almira conversation, made Husain riled up.

"Don't worry Damar, everything's fine. Grandpa's alone, thanks for worrying about me."

Some of the conversations Husain caught made him increasingly suspect the closeness of the two of them. The trust that Husain tried to wake up this morning, now evaporates. Anger and frustration are mixed into one. He ruffled his hair violently.

"Amahhhh ... Grandpa, why should you meet me with a woman like her!" his screams were full of anger.

Almira has arrived at the door. In a hurry, his breath staggered as well. She's exhausted. His white face flushed, sweat pouring from his temples. Not yet able to breathe out, he was surprised.

The situation inside is no longer quiet. Some people were dressed in blue, with two others dressed in white. They seemed to be in a hurry running around here and there. Almira's heart instantly beat faster. The rhythm is no longer regular. With weight he slowly stepped his feet, his hands reaching for the doorknob.

"Miss, sorry. No one is allowed to enter. The doctor was on duty." a guard's voice stopped him, before the door opened.

"Grandfather why? What the hell's going on? Tell me?" Almira panicked, her face paled. He shook the guard's shoulder.

"Sorry miss, after you come out suddenly Grandpa's situation worsens." the guard explained with fear. He still keeps looking down.

Almira's body deteriorated. He shook, his tears were shed unstoppable. He regretted, he shouldn't have left Grandpa alone. He did not expect, the restlessness and worry he had just felt really happened. He couldn't imagine anything worse.

"Miss, we've been trying to contact the young master. But the number could not be reached,"

"We also called the office. But the secretary says you've been out of the office since an hour ago." Another guard reported to Almira.

Almira wiped her tears, then nodded. He grabbed his phone, then pressed Husain's name. It's just, it's been a few calls made but not also connected. Almira tries to find her assistant contact.

"Hallo, Mr. Bagas." said Almira after

connected calls.

"Yes, how can I help you?" answer Bagas' assistant.

"Sorry madam, you go straight to the hospital after the office,"

"It should've been here half an hour ago. Did something happen, madam?" assistant Bagas asked.

"Please help me find him. Grandfather's situation worsened, while we couldn't find him" Almira said in a trembling tone.

"Alright madam, don't worry. I'll look for her in the meantime try mistress looking around the hospital." suggested assistant Bagas.

"Yes, I'll look for him. Thank you, assistant Bagas." Almira ended her call.

After the call ended, Almira paced back and forth like she was remembering something. With a still uneasy feeling, he closed his eyes hoping to get a hint. Shortly afterwards, Almira opened her eyes and turned to approach the guard.

"Guard, please take care of Grandpa for a moment. Looks like I found the whereabouts of Mr. Husain," Almira was about to leave.

"Call me if there's anything" he added.

"Miss, wait!" having just stepped foot, the guard stopped Almira.

"Yes, what's the guard?" Almira.

"Sorry miss, number ...," said the guard hesitated.

"Oohh ..."

Almira gave him his mobile number and went to look for Husain.

He came here yesterday morning. The place where Almira first felt the scary side of a Husain. This time he had to come back. The familiar smell of the cigarette, and the pity-less, puffed-out nipple, showed that someone was there. However, obviously with a bad atmosphere. Almira tried her hardest to brave herself, and fooled herself that Husain was a very good person.

Almira looked around, then saw the figure of a man who was bowed lethargic with his hands still flanking a cigarette. Again, the man realized his presence. He looked at Almira, but only briefly. The glint of dislike was evident from the way he ignored Almira. Almira linked the two fingertips, then played them to ease her nervousness.

"Master ...," in the end Almira ventured to say hello. But again, Husain did not care.

"Something happened to Grandpa!" he said quickly and softly.

"What do you mean?" hearing Grandfather's name, the man's gaze softened slightly.

"Tell me clearly, what did you do to Grandpa?" he screamed while shaking Almira's shoulder hard.

Almira who returned to get the treatment, he was again stunned. He wanted to answer that he did nothing and understood nothing. But his gaze that returned was horrifying, making Almira's words locked to the throat alone. Almira froze again, before Husain pushed her away and left Almira again.

Almira, whose body was plunged to the floor, had difficulty standing up after feeling a slight pain in her back. Almira decided to rest for a while, he clenched his knees while his head was hidden there. The girl sobbed, she was fragile and could not do much. Even to defend himself, he was unable to.

In times like these, shouldn't a couple strengthen each other? But Almira, who intends to strengthen each other, just got back the sentence accusations that he did not understand at all. Could it be because he was poor, then Husain thought that Almira deliberately entered into his life? And think that Almira has bad intentions towards Sanjaya's family? It continued to dance in the light of Almira.

If Almira had a choice, she would even choose not to know him at all. But it seems like fate and life have worked together to play tricks on him.

God, what's my fault? Almira's heart screamed ...!
