Getting lost in Okigahara

Little by little they gathered up their courage and set their feet towards the forest. Fearful. A feeling they cannot avoid and defeat, but they must be able to. For experience and value A. Just before they entered the forest territory, there was an old man in ragged camping clothes coming at them.

“Ma-sorry, Mr who?” ask Misaki.

“Hahaha, I see there is fear in you guys. If you are afraid, never dare to enter Okigahara. This forest is a place where your fear will eat your body,” the explanation is so ambiguous it managed to make them stupefied. That's all, and the old man went and disappeared behind the thickets of the forest.

“Ah, don't be afraid, Aki. Look, the man also came in, why don't we? Come!” take Mitsuha with enthusiasm.

At first everything went perfectly. Many rare plants live in the forest. Mitsuha picked various plants without names, then put them into the plastic that has been provided.

“Wah, look, Aki. We can ba ...” Not finished saying, he found Aki was no longer behind him. “Aki, where are you! Aki!” Mitsuha was really panicking. He ran through the forest to find his best friend before the night ate the sun.

“I told you, never enter this forest if you are afraid,” the old man he met suddenly appeared behind Mitsuha.

“Where is my friend? You know?”

“You should go home soon, don't stay here long. Unless you want to go crazy and kill each other. Follow your friend there,” replied the man while pointing his finger towards the forest.

Mitsuha turned her head, briefly “Lho, where is the man? Very quickly, the strange old man, like a ghost,” Mitsuha passed towards the direction that the old man had said. From behind the grass, the father looked at Mitsuha with a grin.

“Aki! Aki, where are you? Aki!”

“Mitsuha, I'm here. Please!” yell Misaki.

Mitsuha ran towards Misaki's voice. No matter the slippery road, the thicket extended, nothing could block his steps.

“Aww... ache, my leg is bleeding.” He stood up and ran back with his legs. Wood collapsed he went through with one jump and endured the pain. Seen his legs full of blood. Blood flowed from the wounds inflicted from the scratches of the thorny grass.

“Aki! Where are you?”

“Mitsuha, help me!”

Misaki's screams make Mitsuha get back up, even though she has to drag one of her legs. In the middle of the road, he decided to tear off some of his clothes to cover the wounds on his legs so that his blood would not pour out continuously. Mitsuha returned down the thicket forest and slashed all the weeds that blocked her path. But he felt something strange. Misaki did not approach him at all, even after walking a long distance, Misaki's voice remained the same, not hardening in the slightest. What the hell is going on?

“Mitsuha, where are you? Come quickly, help me!”

Mitsuha kept walking. Behind the thicket is the source of Misaki's voice. He looked a bit hesitant opening the thicket, scared. Mitsuha was confused, was there really Misaki? Slowly he began to approach and grabbed the thicket.

“Mitsuha? What do you want?” Misaki's voice appeared, but not from behind the bush, but from behind it. Mitsuha hesitated to turn her head, but inevitably she had to.

“Aki? You really are Misaki, ‘kan?” mitsuha asked hesitantly while hugging her best friend.

“What are you talking about? This is obviously me, I saw a rare plant and decided to take it. But when I came back you weren't there,” she explained.

What is going on in the Okigahara forest? “If it's you, then who's yelling for help?” The atmosphere is starting to grip, “we should get out of this place immediately, come on!”

“Mitsu, we follow this path, see, the rope\-strap is also installed around the path. Looks like we can get out,” take Misaki confident.

Mitsuha turned body.

“Aki, listen to me carefully. If we decide to walk on this rope, we will stay together. Never leave me again, okay?” Mitsuha held onto both of Misaki's shoulders and explained with a pushy look. She was afraid of parting with Misaki again.

Misaki confirms Mitsuha's invitation. Indeed, Mitsuha was wiser, smarter, and more than anything else. Hence Misaki felt comfortable beside Mitsuha. They walk with Mitsuha in front, while Misaki behind them holds Mitsuha's shirt.

“Mitsu, I'm afraid,” Misaki's hands tremble as she steps on the darkened streets, “aaaaa! Mitsuha, there's a dead body!” yell Misaki.

“Already, you calm down. Here you walk beside me,” said Mitsuha calming Misaki.

The nightfall began to blanket the Okigahara forest. Gripping, creepy, scary. Everything gathered together into one atmosphere enveloped the minds of the two of them.

“You think you can get out of this forest?” The sound of whispers was clearly heard in Misaki's ears.

Misaki did not listen to the whispers that could make them despair. He turned his mind and focused on the road. He tried to stay conscious so as not to be eaten by the whisper of the forest.

“You guys didn't get along with the forest whispers, huh? Don't think you can get out of this forest safely!” The strange man came again.

They're frightened. However, this time Misaki took the front position. Indeed in terms of intelligence, Mitsuha was far above Misaki. But the problem of fighting, Misaki is the master.

“Actually who are you? We want to get out of this forest, please don't block us!” misaki.

Without being shrouded in fear, the man came forward and attacked Misaki. But he can hold it. The old man's strength was extremely strong, even stronger than Misaki who had been studying martial arts for five years. There was one drawback, he just attacked without strategy. Here lies Misaki's weakness and advantage.

“Basic rancid boy! Die here, and become one of the eternal inhabitants!”

“Hey, old bangka! Don't make me a bad boy! But if your life should be drifting to protect those who are precious to me, even if my hands should be dirty with blood and sin, I don't care!”

A fight is inevitable until one dies. Misaki fought the old man with a mature strategy, making it an absolute victory for him. He was still standing firm, while his enemy was drooping helplessly with blood spurting from his mouth.

“A-is she dead?” misaki asked Mitsuha.

“A-is she dead?” misaki asked Mitsuha.

Misaki feels guilty, not because she has killed someone, but because it has frightened Mitsuha. On the other hand, Misaki felt a strange thing in her. He felt his strength increase. Tired, weak, tired he no longer felt.

“Mitsuha, let's go out and go home."
