The clouds are back cloudy, followed by a drizzle that is getting thicker. They must be fast, or dark will take their visibility.
“Yuuji, how will we find them?” ask Natsumi.
Yuuji. His eyes looked at Misaki slowly. He doesn't know what to do. Looking for supernatural beings is the same as looking for traces of cats in a pile of feathers.
“I'll use this, my eye power is successfully upgraded. Clairvoyant skill!”
Even an invisible wind could be pierced with this skill. The particles of life are fused, the exploration is successful.
“Me! But where is this?” ask Misaki wonder.
“What do you see, Aki?”
“I saw a 7x7-sized room in pure white and a round table in the middle. I've never seen this,” she explained to Yukine.
The room looked quiet, quiet. There is no ventilation at all. Misaki left the entire corner of the room, empty. There's not a single human. Then why was the power of his eyes fixed on this strange place? Misaki felt her new skill was useless.
Misaki shrugged her shoulders, sighing deeply. Before he unleashed his skill, from the corner of that white space, a black figure with a black robe and an invisible face appeared from behind the doorway.
“That's it!” Misaki stared at her vision. Best inventions.
While the others surrounded Misaki, looking forward to the story she saw.
The transparent face of the black figure returned Misaki's gaze as if she knew she was being watched. The black figure was approaching, getting closer. His gaze frightened Misaki, even without eyes.
Misaki's face was filled with cold sweat pouring from her forehead. Team members panicked, Misaki's body shaken. Unknowingly. His eyes were wide with fear, his soul was swallowed. Until Misaki screamed loudly, her body seemed to be pulled upwards. He regained consciousness.
“Misaki, you why?” ask Hitori.
“Do not ask first,” whispered Natsumi.
Misaki's breathing was stingy, she still had a hard time regulating her heart rhythm. Yukine takes a bottle of drinking water and gives it to Misaki.
“It's quiet? Tell us,” said Yuuji.
“I know where they are. Another dimension, the space between our world and another world.”
“Means?” ask Yuuji.
Misaki explained, the world they live in is the real world, while the world where gods intersect is the holy world. Between the real world and the sacred world there is a bridge that connects the two. This is called the undead world, where human spirits can be caught there if they have nothing to do with gods. In other words, those who do not believe in a god, they will be trapped there.
“So, they are ...,”
“Yes, they are demons who want this world to be theirs. They used my weakness to defeat the gods. So that they can rule and rule this world. They are truly classless creatures!”
Misaki grumbling. His hands clenched and hit the ground hard until heavily injured. Within seconds the wound closed. Misaki did it over and over again. His eyes are back.
“Already, Misaki. Calm yourself down,” Yukine hugs Misaki and stroks her straight hair that is starting to fall apart.
“Uhuy, look for opportunities,” taunted Natsumi.
“Be quiet, Umi.”
“Woy, since when did my name become Umi?”
Misaki laughed lightly. She wiped away her tears that were chasing the land in the forest. The atmosphere was silent again, there was only Misaki's loudness.
“A-what's up? Why are you all quiet?” ask Misaki embarrassedly.
A minute passed by, until they finally laughed together.
“So, now what?” ask Hitori plain. Even this ordinary question made them laugh freely, while he was silent with a confused face.
Smile from behind Yukine's lips. He was happy to see Misaki get back up.
“Of course. We will lend you our strength. Because we ... one team and one family,” said Yukine smiling blushing.
The next morning, after they had rested in the forest, the awaited moment had arrived. Depart. Looking for Misaki's friends. The birds swooped slowly watching the five people gathered together to unite forces.
“Friends, please, yes.”
Misaki closed her eyes, gathering energy, focused on one of her palms. A minute of time it takes. Finished, he slowly opened his eyes. Red, black aura flared around Misaki's body.
While Yukine grabs one of Misaki's palms, the other.
“Flatet devil!” Misaki activated her skill.
Their bodies felt extremely light while inside the demon gate, raised upwards. Natsumi felt nauseous as she entered the portal.
“Natsumi, are you okay?” ask Hitori.
“I'm nauseous, are you carrying plastic? Huueekk!”
“Where is possible? You are a hassle.”
Unwell, Natsumi notices Misaki. Misaki's gaze stared straight ahead, there was a dazzling light. Natsumi sighed and stood up slowly.
“Good, I can hold it. Let's continue,” said Natsumi.
Hearing his words, Misaki's smile again expanded. They take care of each other. Misaki activated her ability at full power. Their bodies are interested.
A quarter of an hour inside the portal, the smooth journey turned gripping as the portal passageway they passed by was suddenly filled with thick fog. Their sight was blocked, no one could see the other existences.
“What is this? Yuki's? The other friends are still next to you, ‘ right? We have to look after each other. The enemy could have attacked suddenly,”.
Silence, no answer. There was only a groaning sound like the mouth was silenced, until Yukine's hand slipped out of her grasp.
“Yuki! Yuuji, Natsumi, Hito's! Where are you guys?”
Misaki is back alone. Several times he called out their names, but still there was no answer. A few minutes quiet. Misaki fell inside the portal, alone.
The fog slowly disappeared. Right, Misaki herself. His friends disappeared somewhere. Misaki panic. He flipped his body forward and backward. His eyes cast aside the entire portal that could still be reached by his eyes. Still, there's no one else.
“Misaki, you broke the rules! Behold, these four shall die before your eyes! His own portal wall lit up. Yuuji, Hitori, Natsumi, and Yukine are tied to a chair. They are unconscious. “Do not think you can fool me!” The black figure's fingernails were elongated, ready to stab Natsumi in the neck.
“Antikaaan!!” yell Misaki.
Fail. Misaki can't stop him. Natsumi's neck was cut off, blood was rushing. Misaki witnesses her friend being killed herself. There's nothing Misaki can do. His legs were limp, he fell to his knees. Her tears came back from her eyelids.
“A-what? Everything's my fault. I killed them, if they don't I'll follow me,” Misaki said regretfully.
“True, it's all your fault. You know who made you that? Gods! Kill him, then I can revive your friend,” sounds the black figure chuckles at seeing Misaki despair.
“If I kill a god, will you turn on Natsumi, and let us live freely?”
“Of course.”
Misaki grinned at the knot. He wiped his tears and stood looking at the face of that figure that was still plastered on the portal wall.
“Alright,” answered Misaki briefly, “but, can I get more power? Isn't the god strong?”
Misaki heaved a sigh of relief after the figure disappeared from her sight. He continued his journey alone.
“Wait for me, friends.”
