After coming home from the office, Ridho invited me to visit the obstetrician. Actually we made an appointment this morning. So I was ready before he came home.
"We go first, Mom," I said.
"Yes, be careful on the road."
Ridho pulled the car out of the garage. This morning he asked permission to use the car. Of course, he smiled warmly, then went to the store with my motorcycle.
The streets look crowded. This afternoon, office workers and other employees had just come home from work. I enjoyed the afternoon view through the side window.
"You're not feeling well? Nausea?" ask Ridho.
"A little bit" I replied.
"Slept first ... or do we stop for a drink?" bargained for.
"Ga. Near the clinic if you are thirsty."
"Yes already. Uh. About our boy or girl, huh?" ask Ridho enthusiastically.
"How do you want it?"
"What aja, anyway. Just curious because the first kid."
"I want a guy." I looked at him.
"Why?"
"Let her defend if why, why," I replied excitedly.
"Aamiin's." Ridho grabbed my finger. "Eh. Means this out right away want a program for baby adek again?" ask her in a nosy tone.
"Huh?" I widened my eyes. "Don't donk first, Mas ..heard the story of the person giving birth is very sick."
Ridho. "Becanda darling ... I also know how a mother's struggle gives birth."
"Now, I really like to get rid of me."
"Still far away, Mum?"
"It's just a little while, okay." Ridho stroked the top of my head. "Mas got info from a work team that's been checking."
I nodded my head. We were back in each other's minds. Shortly thereafter, Ridho stopped the car in the yard of a fairly large clinic. He got off first, then opened the car door to.
"Come ... slow down." Ridho held my hand as he walked into the clinic.
After registering, we were asked to wait because the obstetrician had just arrived. Ridho and I sat in a chair not far from the door. A couple of other couples were also sitting around us.
My name was called on the third queue. Ridho grabbed my waist, we went to see a doctor. The man in the white coat smiled kindly, then invited us to sit down.
"Please ... any complaints?"
"Ga there, Doc. Check it out, "I replied.
"Ooh, yeah. What kid?" ask again.
"First child, Doc," said Ridho.
"OKs. Please get on the bed." The doctor stood up and asked me to come closer with his eye gesture. "Please help the mother" he told the female assistant standing next to the bed.
After lying on the bed, the assistant raised my robe, then covered my legs up to the bottom of the abdomen with a blanket. The doctor started applying some gel, then placed the check tool on my stomach.
"Good .. The development is OK. She is now ten weeks old. About two and a half months."
I listened enthusiastically to the doctor's explanation. Every now and then my eyes stared at the monitor screen attached to the wall. It turned out this was what it felt like to see the shape of our baby candidate. Thumping and impatient to see the development again.
The doctor turned his eyes to Ridho. "The organs aren't clear yet, huh." His hand pointed at the monitor screen. "The gender is also unpredictable. Wait five or six months."
"Well, Doc," said Ridho.
"OKs. Everything was. Please help, Mother."
The doctor whose face I estimated to be 40 years old stopped his activities. The doctor's assistant cleaned my stomach, then helped me get out of bed. Ridho approached us and helped me sit back down.
