وَكَانَ أَمْرًا مَقْضِيًّا

The Shahih's account of this is the word of Prophet Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wassalam :

أَنْ تُؤْمِنَ بِاللهِ وَمَلاَئِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ وَتُؤْمِنَ بِالْقَدَرِ خَيْرِهِ وَشَرِّهِ

You believe in Allah, His angels, His books, His apostles and the last day, and you believe in good and bad values." (CHR. Muslim.)

Other stories mention that the Prophet Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam said, “Verily the first one created by Allah ta’a is a pen, then Allah said to him, ‘Write.’ Pena said, ‘My Lord, what should I write?’ Allah says, ‘Write the measure (destiny) of everything until doomsday.” (H.R. Ahmad and At-Tirmidhi).

Referring to some verses in the Qur’an and the shahih history of the Prophet Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam it can be understood that Allah Ta’ala has determined the destiny of all His creatures. And one of the other stories also explains:

“God has recorded the entire destiny of beings fifty thousand years before God created heaven and earth” (HR. Muslims, Thirmidzi and Abu Dawud.)
