CHAPTER 289: GETTING OFF THE BUS (ENDING 1)

During the day, most new High School students finish their schooling.

Some of the students had already returned to their homes or gone somewhere else.

On a bus, there were 2 boys in High School sitting there. They had just finished their school and were planning to return home.

A boy on the left side said "Shi Yan, we are already 3rd grade. A few months later we're not high school students anymore, what will you do after graduating from High School?".

"I'm most likely going to go to college, however my father and mother had some shops and a rented house. Therefore, I plan to develop my family's supermarket business in the future. To do that, then I must learn even more" Shi Yan said with determination in his eyes "What about you, Sun Wu?".

Sun Wu's face became a little sad now "After we've been together for so many years, in the end we still have to part ways as well. I already know about this, but I still feel quite sad. Without wasting any more time, the man got off the bus which had stopped at a stop and left.

Shi Yan and Sun Wu regained their senses, they discovered that there were tears falling from their faces now so they wiped away those tears filled with confusion "Why am I crying?".

In a field, there was an old man who was busy planting on the land.

This old man was about 40 years old, besides him there was a young woman almost about 20 years old who helped him plant in the field.

"Rena, I'm sorry to make you bother to help dad in the fields, when you just got back from school. If I could give you a better life like the other kids, then you would be hanging out with your friends right now. Unlike now, working in a field like this" the old man said sadly.

Rena wiped off the sweat on her face without caring about the mud in her hands, she said with a smile "What did dad say? Rena is happy to help dad! However, Rena also finished school faster today because the training for this year's sword race is over, therefore Rena can help father".

"Especially Rena can be friends with many good people also in schools such as Kitsune, Zhi Li, Cristi, Rein and others".

"You're right, those kids are really good kids! They often even help you and you when you are in the field, do not forget to thank them" said Rena's father.

"What did uncle say? I'm doing this because I'm interested in doing it, especially next year I have to be busy by the office work, therefore let me help you before I start busy working" Kitsune said.

"Thank you, son of Kitsune" said Rena's father smiling.

"In hindsight, did Shi Yan's friend or Sun Wu also come to help here?", asked Kitsune who was ready to help plant.

"Friends Shi Yan and Sun Wu?" said Rena shaking her head "They are indeed planning to come here later, but they should arrive in a few hours".

"Is it like that? Then who's the guy standing there? It seems that he has been standing there for quite a while" said Kitsune, pointing to a place beside the farm.
