CHAPTER 238: THE PAST OF THE ARK

Myro decides to go back with Ark to the neutral headquarters, after all what Ark was telling was most likely a secret so it was better to find the right place to tell it so as not to provide an opportunity for others to listen to what they were talking about.

When they reached the neutral headquarters again, they were immediately welcomed by the people there. Then they told Ark frantically about the forest being destroyed for no reason, after all in the forest there was a ravine hiding their secret treasure room so that this group could not help but panic.

Myro was a little speechless because the one who did all of that was himself, but Myro knew that he did not have to tell me about this matter that would create more trouble, he said, let Ark tell him because he is the leader of a neutral group and younger convinces people.

Seeing the panic of these people, Ark immediately shouted out which made all of them silent.

After everyone sat around him and waited for Ark's explanation, then he unhesitatingly told him that the entire secret treasure room had already been destroyed.

Myro sat on the main seat on the desk while Ark sat on the side chair, preparing tea for Myro while letting Myro drink first.

Myro slightly observed the tea that was on the table, not because there was poison but rather this Ark actually knew what tea Myro drank the most.

Without any hesitation, Myro took the tea and drank it.

Since Myro was already drinking then Ark was also drinking, they continued like that for a few minutes before Myro knocked on the table with his finger "I've had enough rest and am not tired anymore from this fight, I'm sure, so you can tell me all the grudges between you and my fake self. I suggest not to lie because I can tell, you must be sorry when I found out that you lied even if you were just a little".

Strong pressure emerged from Myro's body and then pressed Ark, this made Ark sweat coldly before explaining with a trembling mouth "Master, actually I don't really have a relationship with your fake self, actually, but I know her mother well enough".

Myro raised his hand to stop Ark "My fake mother? Is that woman really his mother?".

"I don't know" Ark said shaking his head "But I'm sure the woman should have just happened to find herself a fake master as a baby, the woman did have such excellent natures that she definitely could not leave a baby alone somewhere without anyone taking care of her. Therefore, he brought the infant false master to be his adopted son. Even though I didn't see the incident directly, I knew the woman very well which made me believe that all this was what happened".

"Then why did I kill that woman?", asked Myro again.

Ark smiled bitterly "The woman who became the mother of the false master is a criminal from a neutral group. That woman used to be my confidant, even I let her carry the secret treasure room key. But one day, the woman suddenly disappeared! More precisely he fled while carrying 2 keys".

"At that time I was very panicked, I spread out the whole neutral group to look for the woman but she had completely removed her tracks and her place to hide. We found no trace of her after 4 years of searching though, but we could not give up because she was carrying away the most important treasure of the neutral group".

Myro slightly nodded, not surprised that Ark killed him without hesitation because most of the sects or groups in the Emperor World have the same rule that every traitor in the death penalty.

Ark drank the tea again and took a breath before returning to tell me "When the woman died then I got the key again, but the problem was that I found a child who was about 5 years old in the house. The boy looked at me with hatred, but he just stood in his place knowing that he was not my opponent. I could feel a very strong grudge from the boy, even he gritted his teeth to the point of bleeding from the anger".

Myro looked at Ark for a while before saying "Is it done?".

The question is, why did the woman steal the key? If he stole it for money then he would have sold it, not kept it for 4 years. According to the woman, as long as I don't have this key then I can't be the leader of a neutral group. Then everything that happened next just like I told you before, I don't have any more lies".

"Hahahahaha", Myro suddenly laughed which surprised Ark.

Ark thought that Myro was angry with him so Ark said with fear "Master, forgive Ark's stupid actions! I will definitely not repeat this action again, give Ark a chance!".

Looking at the frightened Ark, Myro stopped laughing then waved his hand "No, no problem! I don't blame you but after you tell me all this then I've understood everything, thank you for your story! Without your story, then I would not have known that a stage had been set up!".
