CHAPTER 283: THE GOLDEN ENERGY

Myro had only thought of returning to the Zodiacal Sect after this, after all they had managed to defeat Ark and finish this fight but Myro's strength had still not passed the Emperor.

Myro had indeed managed to defeat the Ark but his strength was still at the 9th level of Martial Emperor, therefore Myro had to return to the Zodiac Sect as quickly as possible and think of a way to increase this power.

Perhaps Myro should use the same way from his previous lives of searching for many treasures and resources to increase his strength again past a tier 9 Martial Emperor.

Thinking of re-collecting a rare treasure that might only appear tens of thousands of years once, Myro sighed heavily. This time, how long would it take Myro to take all those rare treasures.

The energy that Myro was feeling was none other than Ark's golden energy, more precisely the energy on the golden book which was Ark's spirit.

In the center of the Emperor World that was located quite far from where Myro was, a golden book appeared above the sky and began to gather strength from all over the world.

Not only did the golden book gather the power of an Emperor World, it also gathered the power of the other worlds.

The people in the Emperor World raised their heads towards the sky as they could see an extremely bright golden energy gathering above the sky, it certainly caught their attention.

Even some curious Martial Emperors started flying up the sky to check out what was really going on.

Some of the Martial Emperors around Myro like Husk were also curious about this extremely sudden appearance of golden energy, however this golden energy reminded them of the Ark's power so some of them tried to fly as well as check what was going on.

But before these people flew, Myro shouted furiously while pressing them with his strength so as not to fly "Nobody should fly!".

Hearing Myro's cry, everyone canceled their idea of flying.

Everyone looked at Myro with question marks, they did not understand why Myro had forbidden them to fly.

Myro knew that everyone still did not understand what was happening so he said coldly "Whoever flies dies, even an Emperor could not resist the golden energy that was gathering in the sky right now! I'm sure Ark is dead, it can't be wrong! So, what exactly is Ark trying to do!?".

Fortunately Myro warned his comrades in time as the Martial Emperors flying elsewhere were immediately killed by the golden aura, the golden power dismembering their bodies to the point of remaining a trail of blood.

Everyone in the Emperor World was shocked and afraid to see that, however they knew how frightening the might of these Martial Emperors was, he said, but before this golden power then those respected Martial Emperors could only die without a fight.

After which, the Ark's cold voice spread throughout the world, not just World Emperor.

"I cannot accept myself and the Shadow to die while you humans can live well in this world. Therefore, I cannot bring back the Shadow and I will also die. Even so, at least I must have brought you all, the humans to die with me! You have killed all the Shadow, so today I will kill all the humans as well. See you soon, in humans! We will meet again when everything is dead, hahahahaha", Ark's cold voice that spread across the world before slowly disappearing.

Not long after, the golden aura around the Ark book exploded and spread throughout the world.

Under everyone's perplexed gaze, that golden aura began to slowly eat up each world.

Be it Myro, Zhi Li, Cristi, Turse, Karter and the rest of the people were shocked at this change, those who possessed the strength of Martial Emperors could clearly feel that the world was starting to be eaten slowly by this golden energy.

Looking at the World Emperor being increasingly devoured by the golden energy, Karter flew first while shouting "How could I possibly allow such a thing!".

Karter formed thousands of lightning spears, he used almost all of his strength to fight against the golden energy that was trying to devour this Emperor realm.

Without the slightest hesitation, Karter threw all those lightning spears towards this golden energy.

"Shelf!".

There was no explosion whatsoever, the lightning spear that collided with the golden energy was instantly devoured without being able to provide the slightest resistance.

Karter who saw all that was very surprised, he used up almost all of his energy but he still failed to hold back this golden energy from eating World Emperor even for a second.

"What exactly is this golden energy?" said Karter in confusion.

The comrades around Myro also became panicked, even some of them decided to return to their respective worlds in order to find a way to stop this golden energy.

After all this golden energy was not only in the Emperor World, but in the entire world.

Some people approached Myro and said that they had to return to their world, there was a family they had to protect.

Myro also did not stop these people, he himself had no idea to destroy this golden energy so let everyone return to their respective worlds to try.

"Teacher, what should we do?", asked Zhi Li who was staring at the golden energy worriedly "If it continues like this, if it continues like this, then the entire Emperor World would be completely devoured by this golden energy in just a few hours!".

Sun Wu, Shi Yan, Gristi, and the others tried to use their best strength to fight against this golden energy, but no matter what they did then they could not slow down or stop this golden energy.
