Replacement Lantern

Replacement Lantern
Chapter 04. Replacement Lantern

Entering the school area, Lanterns stepped through the already deserted corridor. How not? The lesson started about an hour ago. The very large school area makes Lanterns quite difficult to find a teacher's room.

There were only a few male students who were seen running around the field. Predictably, they are being punished for making a mistake. Late maybe? Luckily he is now, so he does not have to serve that obligation, he thought.

Too long moving the legs makes it a little tired, the pain in the body really interferes with freedom of movement. The lantern chose to stop in front of a class. Massaging for a moment his painful shoulder, then reached into his pocket to pick up the phone.

"God! It's almost nine o'clock!"

The lanterns' eyes are perfectly rounded. On the screen of the phone, the clock shows eight hours and forty-five minutes. The lanterns were really surprised, it was a sign, about fifteen minutes away the swimming athletes had to gather in the swimming club room.

The lantern's lips were now rounded, with a shocked look towards the screen of the phone that had just vibrated. Right, guess? The swimming coach just sent a message through the group he was in. Encourage swimming athletes to arrive on time within fifteen minutes.

The lantern pressed one of the numbers that read Mr. Rudy, about to send a message to ask where the existence of the swimming room. But suddenly, a man came to him with a frown. The scarring full of questions can be seen lanterns on his face.

That paltry gaze made Lantern raise one of the eyebrows, as if asking in wonder. Surprisingly, without saying a word, the guy who was snacking on candy immediately left the lantern. It's weird!

"Wait a minute!" The sound of lanterns instantly stopped the man's steps. Forced Lanterns to raise their legs, because the man did not move from his place. So arrogant! Let alone come closer, even turned around the body he did not want.

"Can you help me?" ask Lantern, be as polite as possible.

The guy just kept quiet, making Lanterns feel even more awkward with his attitude. The guy's gaze looks cute, especially after glancing at the old-fashioned mobile phone that is handheld lanterns.

Feeling his phone being glimpsed, the lantern quickly hid backwards, while smiling stiffly. It was undeniable, at this moment he felt very awkward. "Ekhem .. I'm looking for a swimming pool, do you know?"

The man immediately kneeled his mouth, with his hands that looked much larger than the hands of lanterns. Trying to hold back the laughter after hearing the girl's question. His attitude seemed to have known each other, when the two had only met for the first time. Even so, Lanterns are still waiting for an answer. Until finally the guy pointed at the direction through his chin, then left just like that.

"That's weird, guys!"

The lantern muttered as it shook its head slightly, then re-entered its feet in the direction that the man had pointed. But after walking far enough, he actually found nothing, except only a few tenth classrooms that were busy with their respective lesson hours.

Ah shit! I'm dredged!

Only then did Lantern realize that it was being played with after seeing that there was a warehouse at the end of the corridor. The lantern let out a sigh, trying to throw away its sense of regret. He was forced to contact Mr. Rudy, as a swimming coach who recommended him to move yesterday.

Fortunately, there is no need to wait long. Within seconds, Mr. Rudy immediately replied to Lantern's message. After knowing the location of the Swimming club room, the lantern went directly to the destination. But again, when he arrived in the athlete's room, he did not see a single person there.

The lantern tilted its head inward, its gaze circling the entire corner of the room. The athlete's room is so big, so much bigger than he thought. Realizing no one was there, Lantern chose to see the large swimming pool available next to the athlete's room.

What a big waahhhh!

His mouth was amazed. The lanterns sparkled to see the blue of the water, in the big swimming pool. If he is not injured, he wants to swim right now. The lantern reached out, trying to touch the clear water for a moment.

"WHAT'S THE MATTER HERE?"

The lantern gasped in shock, almost falling into the pool hearing the sudden sound. Fortunately, his sprained leg had not been able to mess with him. Almost his heart jumped, if he did not quickly hold back while squabbling on the edge of the pool. The lanterns looked quickly. Three guys were now standing before him, carrying an unfriendly look.

Realizing his position was still sitting, the lantern immediately turned to face the three men. "Eum it, just want to see the pool for a minute."

The lantern scratched its non-itchy head. Why is it so awkward? The three guys looked as if they were introgating. The lantern felt a little uncomfortable, but he did nothing wrong. Besides being late to school, of course.

"It's not your place, it's gone!" remove the man who stands at the very center.

"No boy, what did I say! It's getting weird, isn't it?" suhut the guy who is on the left side, Bagas his name.

"Maybe he's in an accident, so his brain's tilting." Haris, the curly-haired guy standing on the right side, responded. His gaze was cornered, as if he had long known the figure of the lantern.

Looking at the man standing on the left, the lanterns became irritated. Right, that strange guy who had bullied himself earlier.

"You! Aren't you the one who fucked me?" The lantern said in an angry tone, while pointing towards Bagas.

Instead of being afraid, the guy just kept his mouth shut, trying to hold back the laughter. "Lo why the hell, Van? Bizarre benget! Lo language, ppffttt .. gosh, we're not that quick if you forget!" He held back his laughter.

β€œVan? Who's Van?” Lanterns frowning, ”Emang my language why?"

"Don't do most acting! Defying not wearing make up, you think we can not recognize that!" Haris came closer, then ruffled the hair of the pigtailed lantern. A little messy after going through a lot of trouble this morning.

"Huh? Pretending?" The lantern brushed off the boy's hand, then tidied up his hairdo. He really did not understand the direction of the three boys' conversation.

"Vanessa Halian! I asked again, why are you here? Don't you like this place the most?" This time Boy, the man standing at the very center asked in a cold tone. From his gaze, it was predictable that the guy was very disturbed by the existence of lanterns there.

"That's it! Don't tell me you want to pretend to forget memories. Yes, yes, Van. I'm males ladenin lo, I swear!" haris said. During knowing Vanessa, he always got unlucky because of the behavior of the bar-bar girls.

"But I'm not Vanessa Halian!" The lantern replied in confusion. He remembered the man he had just met this morning. Just like those three guys, the man also said the same thing to her.

Who is Vanessa Halian?

Looks Bagas and Haris sighs. But not with the guy standing in the middle of it. The lantern glanced at the name embedded in his clothes. Fiere Boy Pradana's. The man's gaze was still flat, with both hands folded in front making him look like a cold and untouchable guy.

"All of you why are you still there? Come on in, the meeting's about to start!" I heard Mr. Rudy screaming from the door. After ordering his students, the man immediately entered the room followed by several other children.

"Ready Sir!" Bagas replied with enthusiasm, then invited his two friends. "Kuy in!"

Seeing the three men walking towards the room, the lantern followed behind. But his steps suddenly stopped, when Boy suddenly stopped his steps and looked annoyed at him.

"Well, are you coming?" boy asked not friendly.

"So they were told to come in!" replied the lantern in confusion.

"All you can enter is a member of the swimming club!"

"But I'm also a member of the swimming club!"

"Since when did Vanessa Halian love swimming? Are you afraid of make up?"

Boy still doesn't like Vanessa. Although it currently looks not being used makeup, but he remembers, the appearance of the girl was very excessive during this time. Even Vanessa once said she did not like swimming, because swimming would only damage her appearance and make-up.

"I TOLD YOU, I'M NOT VANESSA!" snapped Lantern. He has confirmed many times that he is not Vanessa, but still they all consider himself Vanessa. The name of someone he had never seen before.

"Buckoo! He's mad!" bagas lirih.

"Udahlah Boy, just let him!" haris said melerai.

"If you're not Vanessa then who?"

"Lantern! My name is Lantern, are you blind?" The lantern showed the name embedded in his shirt. Instantly making Boy, Bagas and Haris fall silent. At least, they still couldn't believe what the girl said.

"Lantern? Ppfffttt bahaha." When Bagas and Haris' laughter broke, they still thought it was just a joke.

"Yes! I'm Lantern! Why?"

"Why should the lantern? Why not a candle?" haris said and laughed again.

"Wax? Kayak song! White candles give you light, white candles accompany me." Suddenly Bagas sang, giving two thumbs up while curling his body.

"Aseek!" sahut Haris join in the joget.

"By yourself tonight, no love will accompany you."

Plakk! Plakk!

A loud clap landed on Bagas and Haris' heads, instantly stopping the dance and singing of the two men. Boy's upset. At a time like this, it could be that his freak friend was singing not because of it. It's still good if the sound is good to hear. Their voice was like an asthmatic person, cringing like a table on the floor.

"Diem you bedua!" snapped Boy.

"You still don't believe it?" Seeing the three guys still doubting him, Lantern immediately opened the bag. Take a piece of paper with her data, then hand it to Boy. "It's proof that I'm not Vanessa, like you said!"

Boy took the paper, then read it carefully. As with Bagas and Haris, Boy was also surprised to see the data. The name is indeed Princess Permana Lantern, the biodata is even very complete. Now Boy understands, Lantern is a transfer student that Mr. Rudy had told him before.

"So your name, Lantern? Not Vanes?" ask Haris confused.

Not only Haris, his two best friends are also still confused by that reality. How not? Everything in the lantern is so similar to Vanessa, only the adult appearance of Vanessa sets it apart. It would be difficult for others not to misunderstand after seeing the girl.

"No! I'm Torch!" The lantern replied in annoyance, recalling Haris and Bagas' earlier taunts. He reclaimed his paper, then walked away leaving the three men to the room.
