The queen thought hard and got the idea. "What about the woman who attacked my son?"

"What?"

"I was upset because of him, Bence got punished even though the Emperor released him. The boy's father is my follower."

Duke Aruna nodded in understanding. "True, she should be punished for not being able to properly educate her daughter. Their families deserve to be destroyed."

"No need to be destroyed, we still need their services. It's best to just press a little, I'm sure when the Emperor finds out that he's the father of a poor daughter, it must be released easily."

Duke Aruna frowned disapprovingly. "It's better to destroy it from the beginning before it causes problems for us in the future."

"No, dad. They will definitely not betray, their loyalty is beyond doubt."

Duke Aruna heaved a sigh of relief. "If the Queen has spoken, I can't interfere."

The queen nodded in satisfaction then immediately gave orders to her subordinates to call the child's father. "Dad not to worry, everything is safe and in control."

Ira entered the queen's palace and greeted her with respect. "His Majesty the Queen."

The queen nodded briefly. Ira was one of the emperor's concubines and the only concubine who could produce a child with the emperor even though it was only a daughter.

Ira is his loyal former servant. So the queen will never doubt or suspect Ira.

Recalling the harem, the queen's countenance turned sad considering that she now had no authority.

The queen was even more annoyed when she remembered Selena's arrogant face.

"Your Majesty, what's calling me?" Ira asked carefully so as not to offend the queen and then gave a respectful greeting to the Aruna duke. "Duke."

Duke Aruna looked at Ira with a judging look. "The more beautiful you get, it looks like my daughter managed to polish a ugly wife into a nice-to-see goose."

Ira was used to the phrase harassing duke Aruna so as not to reply or take it in the heart. Although the Aruna duke is basket-eyed and loves cheating, the duke never sleeps with his family's servants. "Thank you for the compliment, it's all thanks to the queen."

Ira has great respect for the queen, because of her, her life is comfortable and safe now. There was never any thought of her becoming the emperor's concubine.

The queen nodded briefly then explained the instructions to Ira.

In a time when the queen was busy running sneaky, the empress' palace was preoccupied with the quarreling sounds of Aether and Selena.

Selena wants to eat the cuisine of Birendra region but Aether is too lazy to help process the ingredients.

"How can you not help your sister? Just help clean the fish scales what's wrong?" Complain Selena.

Aether refused. "What if you did it? I'd rather cut vegetables than do that for animals."

Selena turned the eyeball and began to clean the scales of the fish she had just bought.

Aelia looked at Selena's astonishment. "What do you want to do? I'll help."

Aelia had wanted to cook with sober knowledge, who knew it could be delicious. However, his two children rejected the idea and immediately cooked by themselves.

Aelia does not know her two children love to cook, looking for memories in the past there is also no scene of her two children cooking in the kitchen except-

Aelia looked at Selena and Aether alternately with a puzzled look. When he was sick, at that time the children were always sending food but the food was sometimes salty or sweet and also sometimes the carrots forgot to be cleaned and immediately cut.

Selena shook her mother's body gently. "Mom, is mom okay? Why daydream?"

Aether twisting eyeball. "Of course, people aren't blind to see you're enthusiastic about cleaning fish."

Selena looked at her sister with a pouting look. "Basic ugly!"

Aether did not care about her sister's curse and asked Aelia. "Mom, what do you want to cook yourself? There's only three of us so there's no need to cook hard."

Aelia nodded in agreement. "True, it has to be simple. But the day we're going to celebrate is Selena's birthday. So let Selena lead us."

Selena stuck out her tongue while Aether got more upset.

While the emperor was getting fed up with his work, he took a walk in the park in search of a nice atmosphere. But, it turned out that he had unknowingly stepped into the empress' palace with his troops.

One of the knights guarded the door of the empress' palace room, was about to pull a rope to give a sign that a guest wanted to enter, but the emperor forbade it.

"Where's Empress? Why so quiet?"

"She, the Prince and the Princess are in the kitchen to cook."

"Cooking? Doesn't the palace have a cook? Why are they even-"

One of the guards smiled and explained. "Near by the princess's birthday, I guess as a mother, there's no harm in working together to cook."

The Emperor frowned and then realized something. "Take me to the kitchen!"

The knight scratched his head that was not itchy.

Upon arriving in the kitchen, the emperor opened the door without permission and was stunned when he saw the condition of his wife and two children.

Selena was seen about to throw a fish towards Aether while Aether was just laughing. Aelia held Selena's hand with a worried look and tried to stop.

"Mother, don't stop me! He's gone crazy!" Selena Screams.

"What did you do to the Empress?!" Asked the emperor in a stern tone. He doesn't like to see his children disrespect his wife.

Everyone in the room was shocked and turned to look at the emperor.

"A-dad?' Aether was shocked to see her father enter the empress' palace. The emperor seemed reluctant to meet the empress.

Selena and Aelia were also shocked.

The emperor rolled up his arms.  "Do you guys want to throw away groceries for jokes?"

Selana and Aether do not believe in hearing and see the strange behavior of the father.

"Dad why did you come here?" Selena asked confusedly.

"I just wanted to visit and said the three of you were here, so I followed." The emperor replied awkwardly.

Aether was worried about her mother's condition if she saw the emperor coming, in the past her mother only cared about the emperor.

Aether glanced at her mother who did not see the emperor and only seriously read books. "Mother?"

Aelia looked up and smiled. "What's wrong?"

Aether scrutinized her mother's face then heaved a sigh of relief as her mother no longer looked at the emperor. "No, just wanted to call."

Aelia smiled slightly and then returned busy with raw food ingredients.

The emperor who could not stand it anymore, immediately joined the three of them. "Selena, put the fish down. You're disgusted by the scales of the fish but instead you pick up and throw at the Aether?"

Selena was surprised again.
