Chapter 29 – Disintegration of Balance (4)

Mission complete. Vallen eliminated all traces with all possibilities, we're home soon.

At three o'clock in the morning, we just arrived at the castle. All the other members were exhausted and decided to go to sleep. This time the mission was not given a star. That's what Leah and Wass said after we arrived at the castle doorstep.

***

BRACKET! At seven in the morning.

“Build everything. Wake, wake, wake!” Wass shouted from the living room, putting down breakfast. Still with a tightly bound apron.

My dream of marrying a princess for saving her from the confinement of a witch woman and being guarded by a dragon, instantly broke. Replaced by the cry of Wass from the middle room. Although Wass's voice isn't that bad, it's good. But it's not good to scream early in the morning.

I'm up. Waking up because of Wass. The sunlight entered into the room, gently watering my face. Birds were still whistling sweetly near one of the trees. I saw the clock, it was still seven in the morning. Why would Wass call us this early? Any more missions? Wasn't that midnight mission more than enough to drain us? Or maybe adrenaline.

I immediately got out of my bed, leaving it in a mess. Take a towel, then go out of the room, go to the bathroom. Queuing.

Brok, step like someone who hasn't eaten in five days. Not eating for three days, most people would be dead. That's how Brok is now. He carried a towel, walked over with a slight bow. His hands twitched left and right over and over again like a swing in play.

“Why is your face lethargic so, Brok?” I looked at Brok concerned. Padaalkan he did not play much role in the midnight mission last night, but why does he look the most tired, huh?

Brok let out a long sigh, rubbing his forehead slowly. Like an unemployed person. “Hadeh... I was in Leah's room,” Brok leaned his head against the wall. “He threatened me to wake up early.”

“Threatening?” My forehead shrinks.

Brok nodded, “You know his strength?”

“Strength? What is Leah's power?”

Brok patted the forehead. “You don't know? The new member Tumben does not know the strength of his own Chief of Command. Usually Leah likes to show off strength to new members.”

“So Adrian. Leah's strength is disappearing, bending, bending, and yoking space.”

Looks like my forehead is getting shriveled. “Get space?”

Either explained, while banging on the bathroom door. “Easy, he could make the distance of the castle to Markrasta Kingdom very close, if he wanted to. Oi! How long do you want to take a shower huh!” Hm... I still don't understand. Bending space? Making the distance between this shanty castle to the Markrasta Kingdom close if he wanted to? Then this wilderness can be lost dong? Or some kind of teleportation? Hmm. I don't know.

Leah came to the bathroom, looking at us who were waiting in long lines at the bathroom door. While Either was banging on the bathroom door, tell me how much longer do you keep going, huh?!

Leah hit the mossy castle wall, making a huge chunk. “WHY HAVE YOU BEEN SO LONG, HUH! QUICK SHOWER. ONE TIME USE, DIRECTLY FOUR PEOPLE WHO TAKE A BATH! NO SHAME AT ALL! WHETHER YOU'RE SMALL OR BIG, I DON'T CARE! IT'S YOUR FAULT!” Leah turned right, exhaled, angry.

***

Twenty minutes, our shower is over. Fate, the four showers. Yes you know what makes men giggle when bathing together.

A few minutes later we gathered to the front door of the castle, only two meters away from the door of the castle.

Leah stepped back and forth, stacking her hands under her waist. Rest attitude. “Everything's gathered?” Wass counting fast, complete. He looked at Leah, nodding.

Leah lowered her tone intonation to be a little more friendly, “Because today we have no mission, you guys will train very heavily. Today.” They were whispering to each other, guessing what training Leah had prepared. Usually Leah never intended to train its members like this. Said Brok and Either, who became the first and second people to enter the Moon Force.

I did not hear Leah's next speech, hindered by the whispers of the other members. Leah speaks about togetherness, passion, discipline, mental health, mental health? Didn't he just destroy the moss wall, did he? Is that what we call mental health?

“So, let's practice into the forest!” Leah is like a motivator. Change one hundred and eighty degrees centigrade, kelvin, fahrenheit, and other temperature degrees.

“Oi, you're not kidding me, are you?” Hast's hair was goosebumps, stepping back slowly.

“Hah? You scared? If you are afraid of mending do not need to be a member of the Moon Team.” Leah pushed Hast's shoulder. Hast pushed, lost balance. Almost fell to the ground.

“This is kan–”

“Yes, this is the cave where Frenin lives, this wilderness guardian animal.” Leah was sitting quietly leaning under the tree, while eating the sandwich she had brought from the castle.

Either pointed at the mouth of the Cave, “So we have to beat Frenin–”

“Frenin what is it?” Without any guilt, I asked cutting out the words of Either.

“Frenin is a giant wolf animal. Look,” Wass pointed at the mouth of the Cave whose size was not much. Like a normal cave in general.

A few seconds later, AARRGGHH! The sound of a roar from the mouth of the Cave sounded. Make deaf.

“We can only get here. Already in the past, bye!” Leah raised her right hand, then lowered it down. Make Wass and Leah disappear. The power of space.

AARRGH!

There is no time for us to negotiate. The ground shook violently. The wolf walked out of the cave. Five seconds, the ground was shaking. Ten seconds, it's getting better. Fifteen, twenty seconds. Small animals are seen coming out of the cave. Snuggling, like a cat.

“KYAAA'S... REALLY CUTE!” Far, Vine, and Vallen approach the little Wolf. Can't stand to stroke her soft, silky feathers.

“Hah? We're told to fight this cute, cute wolf?” Brice pointed at the wolf that was in Vine's lap, looking at the wolf cynically.

“Hah? You guys underestimated me?” The wolf curled up on Vine's thigh.

Either grunt, “Hey you, little wolf! It's good you're curled up on Vine's thigh! I envy to know!” I don't know, is Either really angry? Or envious?

“You're envious? Haha. It's soft you know.” Frenin curled up, curled in cute coils on Vine's thighs, sticking out his tongue. Mocking Either who was snarling his hands, clenched his jaws.

“Here you!” Either opened his hand. The wind whizzed loudly. “Storm – Either!” storms formed. The leaves swirled around at one point. The trees around shook violently, until the roots of the trees almost came off.

But before the chaos ensues, Vine flicks a finger. Instantly the loud whirring disappeared. “Don't be too rough. He was a kid.” Vine puffing cheeks. Either's face, red with anger, became more and more red. Then throw away face.

Frenin smiled wickedly. “Hey, you white hair boy.” Either turned his head, “You can't be like this right?” Frenin growled, stroked Vine's stomach, then curled up. Vine, Far, and Vallen chuckled at the small wolf's behavior, they stroked the dense fur of Frenin.

Frenin went up from the top of Vine's thigh, down on the grass. “Because Leah sent you guys to train with me, fine. Last week, Leah also came here asking me to train you. But by not using my full strength for sure.” Frenin growled, stretched his body, like a cat as usual. Even if he's a wolf.

“Good. Now you can attack me at any time. Please.”

Either who was already upset, again let out a loud whistle from his hand forming a small storm. Either lowered one of his legs to the ground, also lowering his hand. The storm is growing longer, like a real storm.

Frenin nimbly ran to swallow the storm.

“Wah. Rarely does anyone like that.” Vine laughed a little. Frenin staggered while holding the storm in his mouth. Ten seconds, he spewed the storm back out. A WUUSSHH! Storm Either returned many times over.

Trees are taken from their roots. Large chunks of the roof of the Cave flew. The foliage? Don't ask, the leaves come off their little twigs. The leaves are like a barrier from the storm.

My view is blurred. Some green grass was uprooted, coming round. The wet earth chunks split into grains of sand, making this storm like a sandstorm. Hot, tightening.

“Hei! Where is your spirit? If you give up just until here, you will die and be my meal tonight!” Frenin roared, his body becoming like a juvenile wolf. The swift dart clawed at us in just tens of seconds.

I used both hands to protect my eyes from the sand. SRETT! My chest is hurting, SRET! SRETT! The sound of women screaming hysterically.

“VINE!” Either's faintly screaming voice sounded. Let alone helping, protecting yourself is difficult in the midst of a storm like this.

The cries of pain from the others sounded earthy. When it was my turn, Frenin looked like a full-grown wolf. His eyes look green. SRETT! SRETT! Shirt off. Tear to pieces. I don't know how many injuries I don't care. All I cared about was still being able to stand up straight, and step forward little by little.

“Have you given up? Is your strength only up to here? WEAKLINGS! How did Leah choose her Moon Squad member? Whereas previous years members of the Moon Force could fight me in this storm, albeit a little. Well.. although they ended up being my meal in the Cave for days.”

“Adrian! Absorb the storm with your little ball!” It sounded from the right as Brice's voice shouted at me.

I nodded, even though I saw no one. Because it was blocked by the storm. “Can't! My ball can only absorb the power that it has been used for now!”

“Not time in the cobwebs, can you absorb our strength?” That voice, the voice of Either.

I faced the voice, shouting. “That's a power that still hasn't been exposed to anyone. That time you will direct the power to the stalagmite sky! Not in stalactites!”

Frenin's savage howl sounds are clear, “You're talking about a plan against me? Huh, it's free. Take care of yourself that I can prey on at any time!”

The hysterical screams again sounded alarmed. Instantly, the air felt cold. Cold in the storm? Not likely. But this is the truth. I watched the water go into small ices like sharp tapered needles.

The ice needle stopped from the storm, not swaying. Like someone was controlling it. The needle swayed slowly, darting away like it was swallowed by a storm, like a bullet.

AARRGH! Frenin's voice was clear. The sand that drifted to and fro fell back to the ground. Our views are as unlimited as ever.

My eyes are facing a little to the right. Far raised his hand. Frenin's body sat down, full of thin needles. Fresh patches of blood were seen on Far, Vine, and Vallen's clothes.

Frenin tried hard to stand up but did not. His feet were also exposed to the ice needles, even more than all over his body.

“Hah! Feel it's a perverted wolf!” Either snorted in annoyance. Frenin turned his head back, looking at Either sharply. The storm has not stopped. Frenin stood up from where he fell. His eyebrows are shriveling, angry. He flicked the ice needles in any direction, until there were no ice needles left. His small hollow scar, in an instant closed. His body is healthy as ever.

The adult body of Frenin again turns into a small Frenin. A WUUSSHH! The storm created a wall-shaped spiky like a huge spear leading to Brok, and pierced him. Translucent, the blood is flowing. Very swift. His eyes Vine glared as he closed his mouth, surprised.

Brok's face was pale. Not moving one bit. BRACKET! His body just sprawled.

Far stepped rigidly towards Brok. Far crawled, his hands shaking holding Brok's hollow chest. Far's tears flowed without him noticing.

“Hah! I told you, didn't I? I'm serious.” Frenin laughed gigglingly at Brok's sprawled body.

I growl, “You! You have no heart?! You can laugh to see someone else die!” Either's face heated up like a boiled crab. But he can't help much. Either had tried various means to attack Frenin, but failed. His artificial wind automatically seemed to be absorbed by the ferocious storm.

“Adrian! You still have a ball of cold, don't you?” Damo shouted, trying to defeat the sound of storm tantrums that were used as a barrier as well as a weapon by Frenin.

I'm nodding. “Good! We combine forces. I'm a water ball, you're cold.” Wonderful idea. I just thought about that too.

Well, Damo didn't just shoot one or two water balls, but dozens of them. A water ball is as big as a football, the longer it is, the more it splits into small grains.

I understood Damo's intention, took out a small ball, pressed the ball slowly, then threw it. There was a faint whirring sound, and within a few seconds, the fragments of water belonging to Damo and other water grains around the area of the cold instantly froze. Forming small blue pebbles.

The difference between my technique and Far's power is in terms of control. Far could control the needles he made. While I–

“It's a bad idea, Damo.” Gamo made both his hands as shields. Little wounds came to us willingly. Not long after, the sandstorm instantly turned into not just an ordinary storm. Cold storm. The cold immediately pierced the bone.

Frenin smiled broadly.
