Rawon Stores In Isekai
14. Brie

"Where is the boy! I haven't seen him since morning!" Brie sounded furious in the well area behind the castle. The sun was heating up overhead, and Fiona did not reveal her nose.

"Maybe it's in her room, Chief Ma'am" said a waiter who was drying clothes. Brie turned to the servant girl and shook her head, saying, "I've checked her room, locked up. Kugedor-gedor the door, no one answered."

"Is he still sleeping?" ask the other waiter.

"I'm sure he's not in his room." Brie the butler was confused. There's no way Fiona's out of the castle alone. As long as Brie knew about Fiona, the girl was always unwilling to leave the Abbott castle area for a long time. Even just to go to the store with other servants at rest hours he refused. Fiona prefers to stay in her room, for whatever reason.

Today, however, is clearly out of the ordinary. From sunrise until noon, not a single bit of Fiona was seen in the castle area.

"Ah, what don't-don't ...." Another waiter looked to his right and left, before finally whispering, "Could Fiona be in Mr Lucas' room? You know, no, if they were--"

"Hush! Don't talk so much! Don't make a rumor! If the Great Madam hears, you'll be finished!" Brie rebuked the waiter.

The girl shuddered immediately. "Oh, Chief Ma'am! Don't report me!"

"Again," said Seri, who suddenly joined the chatter with the potty that had been washed clean in hand. "my new from Mr. Lucas' room. Fiona wasn't in her room. So does Mr. Lucas himself."

"Why did you go to Mr. Lucas' room, Seri?"

"Ah, here!" Series shows the potty in his hand. "Bu Chief asked me to replace Fiona, doing her chores. And there's no one in Mr. Lucas' room!" sahut Series.

Brie frowned. "What's? Mr Lucas isn't there either?" The old servant seemed to think. Is Young Master going to the villages as usual?

As the longest-serving waitress working for the Duke Foxton family, Brie has seen the development of her employer's children since they were babies. He also helped the big lady to nurture the two Foxton sons. Although never revealed clearly, but Brie considers Lucas and Linden like his own son.

The middle-aged woman knew every single thing that they liked and hated. Brie also knows when they are sad, how to make them happy, and all the achievements they have achieved. Brie learns that Lucas is a fragile child, while Linden is a child who prefers silence to avoid unimportant conflict. When Lucas starts telling Linden about her attitude, it's Brie who calms Lucas down so as not to get angry at his sister, because she does know that Linden never hated her brother. Merely, Lucas always harbored negative thoughts towards himself.

Brie also, who first learned, that his young master was suffering from a disorder due to stress, namely the overeating disorder. Also Brie the first to know, if Lucas has a new hobby in the countryside around, wearing ordinary folk clothes and riding a horse. It was the old waiter who was looking for such clothes in the market.

Is it possible, Mr Lucas went to the village again? Could he have taken Fiona? But, for what? Brie was lost in thought, until finally, another servant suddenly said, "I saw Fiona come with Mr. Lucas to investigate the land that had its pangium."

"That problematic land? So, Young Master invited Fiona? Why not another waiter?"

"Maybe a trust issue," chirps the Series. "From the beginning, it was Mr. Lucas who brought Fiona to work here. It is only natural that they have a close relationship. Fiona must be grateful to Mr. Lucas for giving her the job."

"Hmmm, it could be, yes ...."

The servants nodded. Series return to the castle to clean the other room. The girl smiled wryly. At least for now, he managed to make other workers not gossip further about his friend.

On the way home, Fiona smiled to herself while looking at the basket in her hand, which was full of kluwek seeds. In his head, he had arranged plans that he would do next.

In a moment, I can escape this bondage. Although I may not be able to leave Abbott castle, at least I don't need to fear that Nayesa's fate will happen to me in the future!

Before long, the horse carriage entered the castle grounds. Fiona and Lucas get off the cabin. The two of them immediately went towards the kitchen.

Fiona shook her head steadily. "No, I'm happy now. I still remember the whole way of processing these seeds, better done soon!"

"All right ... ." Lucas also said. "Who taught you?"

"Dad and Mother! Grandma too!" exciting Fiona. His eyes were straight ahead of the corridor leading to the kitchen, while Lucas walked by his side.

The young man frowned at Fiona's reply. "Your father is a drunk and likes to gamble? He knows how to cultivate these pangium seeds?"

The steps of Fiona who was so excited, suddenly swallowed. He looked awkwardly at his master. "Ah, that ... I mean ... my relatives who have taught me! A distant relative!"

"Oh ... ." Lucas rounded his mouth. Fiona breathed a sigh of relief as the man accepted the reason.

Nayesa's father was an unreliable type of man. From what Fiona read on the webtoon "Lady Renata", there is a piece of the scene that shows that the man likes to squeeze the wages of his daughter's hard work just for drunkenness and gambling. Nayesa was unable to treat her sick mother until she died. After going bankrupt and being chased by debt collectors, the man eventually sells Nayesa to Lucas.

That kind of father, who might be able to teach a single thing that was useful to his daughter! I am grateful, my real father is so kind! fiona cried in her heart.

Arriving at the kitchen door, apparently Brie had stopped Fiona to ask for an explanation. He pointed the batter stick towards the servant girl. "Where have you been! Your job is still a lot, but you leave without saying goodbye! I had to get Seri to replace you!"

"Sorry, Chief Ma'am!" Fiona lifts the basket to the front of her face, intending to block Brie, in case the old woman was about to hit Fiona with a mill stick. "I was about to leave, but I had to leave early in the morning!"

"That's it, Auntie ... ." Lucas waves between Brie and Fiona. "I asked him to leave early this morning. We have important business."

Seeing the young master trying to defend Fiona, Brie lowered her mill stick. "Yes already. After all, your job is better if Seri does it. I'm surprised, for the past two days, you've been cleaning like an amateur!"

"What?!" Fiona glared in annoyance. That's because since two days ago, my soul possessed this body, not Nayesa! And I'm not very good at cleaning!

Fiona wants to be angry, but all that she can't say. From behind Brie, Seri passed by with a big smile and waved at Fiona.

"Oh, don't fight! Aunty, I'd like to use the kitchen for a while" Lucas said. Brie immediately responded with a negative assumption. "Don't tell me you want to eat more, sir! Not good for your health!"

"No!" Lucas shook his head quickly, then patted Fiona on the shoulder. "He wants to show me something, how to cultivate these seeds." Lucas pointed at the basket in Fiona's hand.

Brie looked up, looking at the contents of the basket. There were round, gray flat objects that he did not recognize. Brie took one of them, trying to observe more closely. "What's this?"

"Pangium seeds," Lucas answered briefly. Brie was immediately startled and threw the seeds in her hand into the basket back. "That poison?!"

Fiona nodded and said, "I'll make it non-toxic again!"
