Rawon Stores In Isekai

Rawon Stores In Isekai
11. Pangiums

"Look! Breaking news! Apparently the son of the successor, Lucas Foxton, who had bought a land full of poisonous trees of pangium! Hear that! Hear that!"

Lucas listened to it. The news has been updated. It was not known who from the Foxton family had bought the land. Now even his full name is clearly echoed by the planang.

He could see clearly that people were swarming around the crier. At least, there were more than three times his name was shouted in the same news. Not only ordinary people, but citizens from among the nobility also heard. They seemed to be whispering, as if concluding something. Lucas couldn't hear because it was too far away.

Later, one of the residents noticed a Foxton horse-drawn carriage passing by. He opens his mouth and points to the vehicle Lucas and Fiona are riding in. By reflex, Lucas rewinds his body, so that he is blocked by the cabin cubicle.

Lucas couldn't see what the people were doing next. He could only think that they were walking closer, because the longer the chatter was heard.

"That's Foxton's train! The time is right, come the moment the launch brings bad news about their son!"

"Hey, say his name clearly! Their son was two, and the youngest was very much different!"

"True too, yeah! They are like heaven and earth! The firstborn is disgusting!"

"Hey, shhtt! Watch your talk! They'll hear!"

The mistress and girl's chatter was no longer heard by Lucas. Mind empty. There were only 'disgusting' words that kept echoing.

At that instant, Lucas' red face restrained the emotions. His blood seemed to rise to the head.

"Armghhh!"

"Master? What was? what's going on?" Fiona asked, confused. He woke up after hearing a scream. Peeling it up to the fastener, a scream as loud as it happened inside the narrow cabin. Lucas did not answer Fiona's questions. The young man covered his ears with his hands. He also closed his eyes tightly. His face grimaced like pain.

Fiona frowned. He panicked himself. However, the four soldiers escorting outside did nothing.they were not even surprised to hear Lucas' scream just now. As if this had happened so often.

Sayup-sayup, the chatter of the citizens until it reaches Fiona's ear. The girl just understood. This is a scene from the webtoon! Renata's carriage was passing by here, when he was about to go shopping. Then he heard about Lucas. Yes, yes, yes ... .

Fiona immediately threw down the cabin window door to close. He did the same with the cabin window on Lucas' side. Then, the girl opened a small door on the wall of the cabin to Lucas' left, where passengers could talk to the coachman. "Sir, speed up the train."

The coachman was a little surprised, he glanced at Fiona who was behind the shoulder. "But, it's a crowded area, miss. We can't just walk fast."

"Then, please look for an alternative path. Anywhere, just stay away from this square!" Fiona. The coachman nodded. "All right."

The horses were immediately ordered to turn as much as 90 degrees. They were directed to pass through smaller, quieter streets. After being quite calm and no longer heard the noise of the square, Fiona sat next to her master. The servant girl touched Lucas's two hands that covered his ears.  In a moment, Lucas stopped trembling. The young man opened his eyes and ears slowly.

"It's quiet, sir," Fiona said with a smile. Lucas looked around. The cabin was dark because there was no light hole open. Fiona spoke again to the coachman. "If you've passed the fort outside the city, please tell us yes, sir!"

"Alright, Miss. About ten more minutes," said the coachman.

Before long, Fiona opened the window door as soon as the coachman told her they had left Warwick. A breeze of rustic wind soon pervaded the cabin space. Lucas regulated his breathing. It doesn't feel as stifling as it was.

"Sir, would you like a drink?" bargain Fiona.

Lucas shakes. "I'm not thirsty. I'm hungry ... ."

Although not thirsty, Fiona still gives a water bottle made of leather to Lucas. "Just drink, good for the stomach chasm!"

Lucas looked disappointed, but he drank it anyway. Fiona smiled with satisfaction. Food and beverage supplies for her employer are actually already prepared, in the basket that is currently under Fiona's seat. However, the girl did not want to see her master vent his stress again to the food.

Lucas swigged the water in the bottle from the skin. Actually the stomach is still hungry, but it is better after drinking a lot. Fiona looked smiling after seeing him according to. After all, for some reason he did not dare to go against the words of his servant now. Strangely enough, their status seemed reversed now.

"Are you not sleepy anymore?" ask Lucas. Fiona shook her head and said, "It's okay, we'll be here any minute, right?"

"It's still a few tens of minutes. Back then, you eavesdropped on my and Dad's conversation, didn't you? Location of the land in the village of Firin."

"Eh? You know I was eavesdropping!" ceplos Fiona's. He closed his mouth so consciously. "Eh, I'm sorry! Sorry!"

"Of course, I know! You're too suspicious to stand behind an urn like yesterday, hahaha!"

The first time, Fiona heard her young master laughing. His shoulders went up and down and the pot in his stomach moved up and down as he did so. Fiona hasn't seen Lucas like that since she came to this world.

"Fiona, wakeup. We have arrived!"

Lucas' voice sounded faint. Apparently, Fiona fell asleep in the middle of chatting with her employer. The girl rubbed both eyes, before finally looking out the window. Foxton's horse-drawn carriage seemed to have stopped on an empty land. The coachman opened the door for Fiona. However, Lucas prevented her when the girl was about to disembark.

"Wear the boots first! The ground's a little damp." Lucas thrusts a pair of green leather boots at Fiona. The girl was wearing it, so that she could step on the land her master was referring to.

Indeed, the land is somewhat moist, but not until it becomes mud, except when forests occur. There was a splashing sound of water flowing not far from where Fiona was standing. After Lucas got off the cabin, the four soldiers escorting them immediately spread around the edge of the land boundary, just in case.

Around the left-right of Fiona, there are trees that are about 50-60 meters high. Rather than ordinary land, this area is more worthy of being called a forest, even though it is not lush. The trees were not very close to each other. The leaves are green and have a fairly wide surface. From a distance, Fiona can see the location of farms and plantations of villagers around.

Lucas catches up with Fiona and stands behind the girl. "This is the tree that Dad meant. He said, all the parts are toxic if accidentally consumed."

"Poisons? Hmh ... ." Fiona looked seriously thinking. Why does it feel like I've seen this tree, huh?

Fiona approached one of the trees and touched its slender trunk. For some reason, the girl felt nostalgic. However, he had never heard of the name pangium in the world before.

"Then, this entire part of the tree is useless at all?" ask Fiona to confirm.

Lucas nodded. His face looked gloomy. "I did something in vain. I thought, by buying this land, I've helped someone who needs medical money as soon as possible, but it turns out ... ."

Lucas told me briefly about why he could buy this land. There are people who use their kindness. Here, something astonished Fiona. Where can anyone know that Lucas is actually kind? Though all this time, according to the actual story on the webtoon, he is often rumored as the fat guy who likes to play women. There's one missing piece of story here, hmmm ... .

As Fiona thought out loud, there was the sound of objects falling behind. Fiona jumped up, she immediately turned her head. There is one oval-shaped fruit whose skin is light brown there. Fiona immediately approached to take a closer look. The girl crouched down, picking up the fruit.

At that instant, Fiona was wide-eyed. "Lho, it's that fruit!"
