"Suiit..!"
A long whistling high echoes break the silence of the edge of the Bukit Arang Lawu gorge. The voice clearly contained a perfect deep energy and was strangely pitched. The whistling came from a handsome young man with a sword holding the head of a bird on his back. The fluttering white vest shirt was toyed with the wind.
"Kragh!"
There was a loud voice coming from space. The young man who was none other than the Swordsman Rajawali Sakti raised his head to look at a point in space. The longer the point the more clearly visible the shape and appearance. That's a giant eagle mount as well as the teacher of Rangga the Swordsman Rajawali Sakti. The giant eagle landed right in front of Rangga.
"I need your help to get down this chasm, Rajawali Sakti," said Rangga.
"Kragh!"
Rangga jumped up onto the back of the giant bird. Without being ruled again, the great eagle flapped its wide wings. His body floated and spun several times over the huge and deep ravine. So deep is this gap, that its base is invisible. Only a thick fog covered the abyss.
"Come down to the bottom, buddy!" Rangga.
Rangga felt the air inside this abyss so humid and cold. The more it goes inside, the darker and thick foggy it becomes. Rangga deployed aji 'Tatar Netra' which he obtained from the relics of Pendekar Rajawali who lived hundreds of years ago. With this study he could see clearly like looking in the sunlight.
"Hup!" Rangga immediately jumped down from the back of the giant eagle once it reached the bottom of the ravine. He watched the situation for a moment. The cavity of the bottom of this gorge is very broad, and in the middle of it flows a very swift river. The water is red like blood. The skulls of humans and animals are scattered.
"Thank you, Rajawali Sakti. You can come back now" said Rangga, patting the giant bird's neck.
"Kragh!"
The giant eagle flapped its wings, and again soared up high leaving the bottom of this ravine. Rangga then circulated his gaze around. Her nose is deflated with a foul odor that is very pungent. The stench came from the corpses that were lying around the bottom of this ravine. Rangga looked at the corpses.
"Hm.., all women," muttered Rangga sighing.
Rangga examined the bodies one by one. He tried hard to withstand the increasingly stinging stench of nausea. Already all the bodies he had examined, and his sigh sounded long.
"There were some who were in blue clothes, but none of them were Pandan Wangi. Ah.., where are you now, Pandan..," said Rangga muttering.
It was obvious that he had seen Pandan Wangi enter this abyss twice. The first because of his mistake was to make the girl cross first, and the second Pandan Wangi was deliberately mixed by the people of Puri Merah on the orders of Dewi Sri Tungga Buana. But, among these corpses, not a single one was Pandan Wangi.
"Hcp...!"
Rangga gasped in shock when he heard a loud hissing sound from behind. As soon as he turned around, both of his eyes widened and his mouth gaped wide. He could hardly believe what he saw.
"Oh...."
********************
"Yes, Lord..., am I dealing with the ruler of this abyss?" rangga slowly.
In front of Rangga stuck out a huge snake. The circumference of its body was larger than an old banyan tree. His head was horned with a crown in the middle. His forked tongue stretched outward. His eyes were like fireballs staring intently at Rangga. Part of his body was submerged in red river water. A pair of legs popped out as the head of the huge snake lifted up.
"Hoss...!"
"God! Hooop.,.!"
Rangga was shocked not to play when suddenly the giant snake attacked him. As fast as lightning Rangga dodged by jumping backwards. The snout as big as a barrel was ramming the ground that was stepped by Rangga earlier. The giant snake hissed angrily seeing its prospective prey escape from the safest.
Byars!
"Damn!" Rangga. slammed himself into the ground and rolled avoiding the burst of fire that went out from the mouth of the giant snake. Not a reed kepalang surprised him he saw a rock as big as a buffalo crushed into dust hit by the fire. Rangga rushed to get up, and was immediately ready to receive the next attack.
And when the head of the giant snake attacked quickly, Rangga's body bounces into the air, then like lightning he dived while exerting the style of 'Rajawali Snatching the Prey'. The punch and kick of the Swordsman Rajawali Sakti was crushing and consecutive hit the head of the giant snake.
"Get and!" rumpul Rangga's.
The giant snake only growled a little, and immediately turned to attack again. Rangga turned his manager into a 'Rajawali Wing Splits Mega' style'. His two hands stretched out like a pair of wings, and his feet moved agilely avoiding any attack of the giant snake. Several times his hand struck the body and head of the snake, but it had no effect at all. Even the giant beast was getting more savage.
'"Blow of Death Beak Rajawali'," hissed Rangga. At once also both hands Rangga so red smoldering. And with lightning-like speed, he smashed his punch into the body of the giant snake.
"Yeah...!"
Glarrr!
A loud explosive sound was heard as both of Rangga's hands landed heavily under the giant snake's head.
"Akh!" Rangga screeched restrained.
His entire body trembled violently, and he bounced a few fathoms away. The giant snake was still nothing less. The warrior Rajawali Sakti was flabbergasted almost in disbelief. A rock as big as a hill could be crushed by his death blow, but this giant snake was wounded he was not.
"Huh! Forced..," exhorted Rangga snorted.
Sreth! The blue light spread brightly when the Swordsman Rajawali Sakti was pulling the sword from his warangkanya. Rangga stood upright with Rajawali Sakti's sword crossed in front of his chest. His eyes narrowed slightly seeing the giant snake moving backwards. His head tilted to the left and to the right several times. It seemed like he was glaring at the light emanating from the sword.
"Young man, who are you? Where'd you get that Rajawali Sakti Sword?"
"God! You're...."
********************
Not to his surprise Rangga heard the giant snake could talk like a human. The warrior Rajawali Sakti that jumped backwards as far as two spear rods. His face was filled with wonder mixed with disbelief.
"You.... Can you talk?" asked Rangga did not believe in his own hearing.
"Are your ears deaf, huh?!" snatched the giant snake.
"No. I'm not dreaming. He actually spoke," Rangga like the person *****.
"Don't act stupid, young man! Where did you get that sacred sword?"
He looked at the sword in his hand. Then he put it back in his skeleton on his back. The blue light instantly vanished without a trace. But his attitude still remains vigilant, despite intense disbelief and astonishment. Just this time he met a strange giant snake that could talk. Rangga had just realized that the beast was a crowned dragon.
It's unbelievable. Rangga often heard stories about dragons, and he never wanted to believe the folklore. But now, the dragon in the fairy tale was now in front of him. And all of that was not a dream, but a reality beyond his wits.
"Why bengong? Did you suddenly become stupid?!" snarl the giant dragon.
"Don...!" Rangga was still shocked. "You.., you know my sword...?"
"Where did you get it? You're stealing?"
"From my teacher" said Rangga after calming himself.
"Don't mess around, young man! The owner of the sword was already muksa before your ancestors were born!"
"You believe it or not, whatever! I'm talking right."
"You did master the Rajawali Sakti moves, but I don't want to believe it until you show me the mastery of the heirloom sword."
"For what? You won't believe."
"Take off the sword! Show me," the giant dragon commanded.
Kaget also made Rangga. The snapping sound was loud and thunderous, yet it sounded extremely authoritative. Slowly Rangga pulled the sword of Rajawali Sakti from his warangkanya. He also immediately opened the style of 'Sukma Breaker'. "Hm, apparently you have also learned the style of 'Sukma Breaker'. Goody! Attack me!" said the giant dragon.
"Hey! You know that skill?" Rangga was shocked.
"Don't do a lot of bacots! Attack me!" snarl the giant dragon.
"Okay, for the sake of the truth, I will not hesitate," Rangga answered the challenge.
Without saying much more, the Swordsman Rajawali Sakti immediately launched attacks on the body of the giant dragon. Several times his sword slapped the dragon's body, but every time his sword eye hit the dragon's body, Rangga felt his hand tremble tingling.
"Huh! Just getting there you stole the science of the sacred inheritance!" snort the dragon.
"I'm not a thief! Accept my ultimate science!" the hot Rangga is said to be a thief.
Rangga stretched his sword in front of his chest. He placed his left palm onto the sword's eye. Slowly he rubbed the sword's eyes. Blue light clumped at the tip of the sword.
"Aji 'Cakra Buana Sukma'...!" rangga shouted. "Yepy...!" Glarrr...! The sound of a powerful explosion sounded like thunder in space. Rangga almost retracted his studies seeing the giant dragon was silent, but too late. Aji 'Cakra Buana Sukma' had already struck the dragon.
"Huh..!" Rangga gawked at the sight of the dragon remaining intact. He could hardly believe that the ultimate aji meant nothing to the giant slithering beast.
"Crazy! Is he a god who came down to mayapada...?" muttered Rangga half in disbelief.
"You did not wholeheartedly give up the aji 'Cakra Buana Sukma', Young Man," said the dragon.
Rangga did not answer. He did not exert full energy, but even so, no one could match the aji 'Cakra Buana Sukma'. Rangga was like resigned if he had to die at the bottom of this ravine. He was sure that this dragon was not just any snake. There was nothing else he had, everything was already drained, and the dragon still remained fresh without the slightest injury.
"No!" sahut Rangga.
"Ha ha ha...!"
So much was asked of the giant dragon, and Rangga answered it plainly without anything being covered or added. The more Rangga opened up, the more convinced the dragon was that Rangga was the sole heir to the sciences of the Swordsman of Rajawali who lived hundreds of years ago.
"Hm..., so who taught you the Rajawali Sakti moves are giant eagle birds?" the giant dragon murmured was like asking for himself.
"True, and I deepen it from reading the relics of Master Pendekar Rajawali" said Rangga.
"Hundreds of years I've lived at the bottom of this ravine. Not a single human has been able to get out of here alive. I believe you're my best friend's only student. Only a giant eagle can get out into this abyss" said the giant dragon.
"You're my teacher's best friend...?" Rangga does not believe.
"Really! Hundreds of years ago I was known as the Golden Dragon Satria. Me and Pendekar Rajawali are two invincible companions. We became bored and isolated ourselves to muksa."
Rangga nodded his head. He had indeed read in one book about the Golden Dragon Satria who became strong companions of the Swordsman King. Unexpectedly at all, he was now face to face with his teacher's best friend who lived hundreds of years ago. A moment Rangga frowned as the gigantic dragon's body flashed thin smoke.
The smoke grew increasingly thick and enveloped the body of the giant dragon until it vanished from sight. Rangga jumped back as the blood-red river water roiled boiling, letting out a terrible roar. And along with the disappearance of the smoke that enveloped the body of the giant dragon, in the middle of the river appeared a magnificent building like a palace. The building was entirely blood-red, and the roof sparkled like a pearl bath.
"Don...!" Rangga gasped when the dragon's body changed into a handsome man wearing beautiful clothes embroidered with shiny gold threads. His face was bright white. His eyes are sharp, yet they contain authority and wisdom. His long, thick hair was curled up on his head.
The warrior Rajawali Sakti was increasingly agape when he saw the door of the red palace open. From within appeared several men and women. All of them were wearing beautiful clothes embroidered with golden threads. Handsome and beautiful on her face. His skin was also as pure white as those from noble families. Those people instantly formed a circle and knelt in front of the handsome male incarnation of the giant dragon.
"Si..., who are you...?" asked Rangga stuttered.
"I am the Golden Dragon Satria, the king of all serpents in the world" said the Golden Dragon Satria. His voice is deep and powerful.
"Oh...!" Rangga immediately knelt in respect.
"Wake up, you're my guest of honor. It's not appropriate for you to be so condescending," said the Golden Dragon Satria.
Rangga got up from his knees. His head remains down. It seemed that he was unable to return the snake king's eyes. His eyes looked so deep, and had an extremely powerful force.
"You're my best friend's only disciple, Rangga, I'm happy to meet you, and that means I can fulfill my promise to the Swordsman before we part to prepare for the expulsion of this mayapada," said the Golden Dragon Satria again.
"Promise...? What promise?" ask Rangga.
"Me and the Swordsman of Rajawali have one promise. If one of us obtains an heir first, then he will be the sole heir of two schools of knowledge. The Rajawali Sakti and the Golden Dragon Sciences. That means you are also my disciple," the Golden Dragon Satria explained.
How glad Rangga was to hear those words. But he did not want to show himself happy to get the science of intelligence again. He recalled one of the sentences he had read in his teacher's book. There it was stated that he was not allowed to study other magic science besides the Rajawali Sakti sciences. If this is violated, then he must face the giant eagle not as a friend, but as an enemy that must be destroyed.
Recalling the words written in his teacher's book, Rangga hurriedly turned to salute. Then his right hand crossed across his chest in an upright manner and sharp eyes looked at the Golden Dragon Satria.
"I'm sorry, not that I refused. I am not a student who thirsts for wisdom. I do not want to be a traitor by mixing two schools of knowledge," said Rangga firmly.
"Ha ha ha..," the Golden Dragon Satria laughed out loud. "What else did the Swordsman Rajawali say to you?"
"Nothing" said Rangga.
"Suiit...!" suddenly the Golden Dragon Satria whistled loudly shrill.
Rangga was surprised to hear the whistling sound. Not to mention the loss of his surprise, from above appeared a giant eagle. Of course Rangga recognized the bird. Very quickly the giant eagle landed and immediately alighted beside the Golden Dragon Satria.
"Ask your vice-teacher yourself, whether I deserve to be your Uncle-Guru or not" said the Golden Dragon Satria.
Rangga looked at the giant eagle. The bird's head was nodding a few times, it seemed like he understood the words that the Golden Dragon Satria spoke and Rangga's eye gaze. The Giant Eagles stuck their heads towards Rangga, and pressed their heads against the young man's chest.
"All right," said Rangga. "What should I call you?"
"Uncle Teacher."
Rangga returned to respect.
"Ha ha ha.., great! Turns out Pendekar Rajawali also teaches you manners. Good I like, you do deserve to be the sole heir of two peerless warriors," the Golden Dragon Satria laughed out loud with pleasure. "Let's, as long as you study the Golden Dragon sciences, you stay in my palace. Also your best friend lives with me here."
"Thank you" said Rangga.
"Let's...."
********************
Rangga could not remember, how long he had been in the Golden Dragon Satria palace. During that time he was always involved in some skill and wisdom. The giant eagle always awaits and gives instructions to the Swordsman Rajawali Sakti. The Golden Dragon Warrior was also excited, as Rangga was quick to grasp his intentions.
During his time at the Golden Dragon Satria palace at the bottom of this ravine, Rangga always remembered Pandan Wangi. A feeling of guilt still enveloped him who had told the girl to jump over this huge chasm. He should have known that the girl had not reached the stage of perfection in the science of lightening the body. Whenever there is a chance of his own, Rangga always contemplates thinking about Pandan Wangi, and apparently this is noticed by the Golden Dragon Satria as well as the giant eagle. "You daydream again, Rangga," reprimanded the Golden Dragon Satria when he caught Rangga daydreaming alone.
"Oh!" Rangga hurriedly menjura saluted.
"What makes you daydream?" asked the Golden Dragon Satria in her voice.
"It's okay, Uncle Master," said Rangga.
"Hm, ever since you first descended to the bottom of the abyss of my palace, I've guessed that you deliberately went down with a single purpose. You looking for someone?" guess the Golden Dragon Satria.
Rangga was surprised not to play on hearing the right guess. Without realizing it his head nodded in justification.
"Of course it's very special, so you can't forget it" the Golden Dragon Satria quipped.
"Sorry, Uncle Master. It's not special, but I feel guilty for having him jump over this abyss. Though I know that the science of lightening his body has not reached a perfect level. I still feel guilty if I haven't found him alive or dead."
"How's the character?" ask the Golden Dragon Satria.
"Woman, fair-skinned, wearing a blue suit with a sword and fan weapon," Rangga mentions the characteristics of Pandan Wangi or the Death Fan.
"Indeed many women are plunging into this abyss. If it does not get caught by the tree roots, it can also go directly to the bottom. It was also something that fell on the banks of the river, and there were also those that splashed into the river," the Golden Dragon Satria explained. Rangga was silent.
"I never cared about those who fell into this abyss, and all of them must have been killed. My people are happy, because they do not have to bother anymore to find food. Around the ravine there is already plenty of food available," continued the Golden Dragon Satria again.
Rangga remained silent. He could understand, because the Golden Dragon Satria people were all made up of serpents. And most of them are stealth snakes that can turn the test into a human. It can only be seen by certain people who are shown, or have the ability to connect with stealth.
"Maybe your friend fell and fell into the Red River. If it had fallen into the river, it would have been washed away," said the Golden Dragon Satria again.
"Where does the Red River boil?" ask Rangga
"East of the Mayit Double Forest, precisely in a valley called the Snake Valley. There my people live," the Golden Dragon Satria recounted.
"I have to go there..," muttered Rangga sighing involuntarily.
"It's just free, Rangga. There the river branched and continued to flow far into all corners of this Eastern region. Already many bodies that fell into this ravine were found in a village far away from this place. Maybe your friend got carried away by this river, Rangga."
The Rajawali Sakti warrior fell silent again. He had also heard about the people who were dropped into this ravine, and again found floating in the river which is quite far from the abyss of the Double Mayit Forest.
"Rangga, what about the ultimate science you learned this last time?" asked the Golden Dragon Satria to divert the conversation.
"I've perfected it, Uncle Master. Also the science of the 'Nine Magic Steps' and other sciences," said Rangga.
"Good! Aji 'Dragon Kingdom' is the first ultimate science that you must master fully, and that means you have mastered one third of the Golden Dragon science. But remember, the ultimate science of 'Dragon Kingdom' that you can only use in a desperate situation, just like you use aji 'Cakra Buana Sukma'," said the Golden Dragon Satria.
"Thank you, Uncle Master."
"Tomorrow, when the sun rises, you can leave my palace. The giant eagle will bring you back out of this abyss," said the Golden Dragon Satria.
Rangga menjura saluted.
"With a third of the Golden Dragon's knowledge, you've had a hard time finding a balanced opponent. I do not know, whether with a little knowledge from Rajawali Sakti you have become a person who is empowered or not. Hopefully a little bit of my knowledge can make you a tough and powerful swordsman," the Golden Dragon Satria gave another message.
"I will do my best, Uncle Master," promised Rangga.
"Good! If you need anything, wherever you are my people would love to help you."
"Thank you."
"Well! Now rest, tomorrow morning you may leave this place. Hopefully you can find your friend back."
Rangga returned to respect.
