Rajawali Sakti Swordsman

Rajawali Sakti Swordsman
The Secret Puri Merah Bag. 2

Not far from Bukit Arang Lawu, it appears that a group of people rode fast towards a village near the foot of Bukit Arang Lawu West No less than fifty horses were driven by people wearing red robes. The sound of horse paws with boisterous cries mingled into one.

It appears that the villagers were running around in fear of saving themselves along with the goods that could be saved. The cavalry got closer, and began to enter the village. The red-robed people who were all wielding unsheathed weapons, instantly ripped apart the entire contents of the village.

No matter the parents, women or children, all of them slaughtered without mercy. The screams and screams of death were heard greeting each other. Coupled with the cheers and the cries of the command blaring.

"Burn! Spend it, let's not have anything left...!"

Several red-robed horsemen began throwing torches at the roofs of the houses. A large fast-burning fire devoured the houses of the average villager made of bamboo boards and cubicles.

The frenzied atmosphere was getting out of control again. Some residents who have great courage, held a fight with makeshift weapons. But they just throw away their lives for nothing. Those red-robed people were extremely ruthless and vicious. Anyone who dared to approach, must have collapsed drenched in blood.

Countless more, how many corpses were covered in blood. In a short period of time, dozens of homes and hundreds of residents were killed. The fire grew larger, spreading to other nearby houses. The unrest continued, as if it would not be resolved again.

After being satisfied, the red-robed people again spurred the horse to leave the village that was already ravaged. Some of them have forcibly brought young women. Not to mention the valuables they managed to snatch from the houses of the residents.

The riot passed so quickly. The atmosphere in the village is now calm again, although the situation is very sad. Not a single house is intact. Everything's broken apart. Not even a little charred into charcoal. The fire is still burning devouring anything that can burn. Bodies are scattered everywhere. There was no sign of life in that ill-fated village.

By dusk, the situation in the village west of the foot of Bukit Arang Lawu was still quiet. While the houses that were burned live debris reflecting thin smoke. The ferocious beasts that smelled the blood rancid, started to exit the forest. Soon the ravaged village will be a party for wild animals.

But before the wild animals stormed the village, two people seemed to walk calmly towards the village. They are young. One male, and the other a beautiful woman in a tight blue shirt form a beautiful and slender body.

Judging from his clothes and face, they are Rangga or Pendekar Rajawali Sakti and Pandan Wangi or Fan Death. The two young warriors still walked quietly towards the village that was already in disrepute no longer. Their steps instantly came to a halt as they watched the terrifying sight before him. Their mouths gaped as they watched the bodies lay, and houses burned to the ground.

"Cruel! Which demon did all this?" rutuk Rangga growled.

"We see, Kakang. Perhaps there are still people alive" asked Pandan Wangi.

They went back in a hurry. Rangga several times swearing, facing the corpses scattered in every place. It was almost unbelievable for this sight he witnessed. No one is alive. All died with terrible wounds.

"I can't believe it, when a sane man does all this!" grunting Rangga while shaking his head.

"No one is alive" muttered Pandan Wangi.

"Truly savage! Cheers!"

"There are a lot of footprints, Kakang," Pandan Wangi said while squatting.

Rangga examined the footprints of horses mingled with human footprints. So much, that it is difficult to determine the number of horses whose footprints are imprinted on the ground. The two warriors followed the horse footprints clearly. Along the trail, always found a corpse whose condition is injured.

Rangga snorted in annoyance, because the footprints of the horse were in every corner of the village. Even to the outskirts of the village, the footprints of the horse are still clearly visible so much. Unwittingly he is separated from Pandan Wangi. Rangga continued down the former footprints of the horse on the ground, while observing each body that was rolled away lest there were any still alive.

"The back...!" suddenly, Pandan Wangi's voice called out.

"What's up, Pandan?" yell Rangga. "Hurry, come here!"

Rangga immediately jumped towards the direction of the voice earlier. With just a few jumps, Pendekar Rajawali Sakti was already beside Pandan Wangi. It looked as if the girl was squatting on the ground.

"What's wrong?" ask Rangga.

"The horse's footprints are heading towards the forest" Pandan Wangi said as he stood.

Rangga followed the footsteps of the horse footprints that continued to go outside this village. The traces were indeed leading to the dense forest that borders the village. This is with Bukit Arang Lawu. But the trail is not a play. It was difficult for Rangga to determine how many horsemen had burned down this village.

The smell of blood stings the nose. Some of the dogs started coming. His voice was very noisy fighting over human flesh that was unkempt. Pandan Wangi immediately grabbed Rangga's hand, and invited him to leave the village. He could not bear to see bodies falling into the food of hungry stray dogs. The two young warriors walked following the horse footprints clearly on the ground and the grass.

While dusk continues to creep down. The sun only peeks flirtatiously at the Western horizon. Its reddish glow gently welcomes the arrival of fog. Rangga and Pandan Wangi continue to step deeper into the forest, towards the slopes of Arang Lawu Hill. They no longer care about wild animals that are partying enjoying abundant food.

********************

Black clouds came rolling around enveloping the sky. The wind blew loudly let out roaring sounds, shaking the trees around the slopes of Arang Lawu Hill. Lightning began to grab with a deafening rumbling sound. Rangga stopped his steps when he felt the rain drops begin to fall to earth one by one.

Rajawali Sakti's Swordsman's head looked up. Lightning returned to snatch, illuminating the pitch-black realm in the blink of an eye. The falling rain drops often start to hit the earth. Rangga looked out his eyes against the darkness of the night. His head turned to the right and to the left. Then the hand of Pandan Wangi pulled when he saw a stone cave when lightning again splashed.

Just when the two young warriors entered the small and narrow cave, a torrential rain fell like it was being poured from the sky. Rangga pulled Pandan Wangi's hand to get deeper into the cave. A strong wind brings rain water into the cave. They just stopped after no longer exposed to rain water carried by strong winds.

"You got a lighter, Pandan?" ask Rangga.

"There, nih," said Pandan Wangi while handing over the lighter stone.

Rangga received the lime stone, then his hand fumbled the ground around him. Found several dry twigs which were then collected into one. With that lighter Rangga lit a fire on dry branches. That pitch-black cave is now a bright light. Rangga collected dry twigs that apparently scattered a lot on the floor of this cave. Pandan Wangi was already sitting hugging his knees near the fire. Sometimes a twig is added to the fire.

"Cold...?" tanya Rangga while putting herself in front of Pandan Wangi. Only the fire limited them.

"He-eh" said Pandan Wangi slightly shivering.

"Your face is wet, just open it to dry" said Rangga.

"What...?!" Pandan Wangi.

"Sorry, I forgot that you.." Rangga grinned.

"Huh! Not funny!" rumpul Pandan Fragrance.

But on his lips flashed a small smile, barely noticeable.

Rangga shifted her seat closer to the girl. He added a twig to the fire. Sparks of sparks while devouring twigs attract the attention of Pandan Wangi. He did not care about Rangga who had now been close beside him. Pandan Perfumed scraping a branch into the slightly damp floor of the cave.

"How long have we been together?" murmured Rangga as if asking himself.

"Neither, I never count," said Pandan Wangi sighing.

"Sometimes I like to think.." Rangga did not continue his words. His gaze straightened at the pretty face beside him.

Pandan Wangi turned his head. They met at one point. The girl immediately turned her eyes the other way. Suddenly his heart was beating irregularly. It was so dead, only this time did he feel this way. I don't know how long it's been with this young man, but only this time there's another feeling in his heart. Something difficult to express in words.

Pandan Wangi felt rattled and misguided constantly. His seat was also agitated. Never had such disturbing anxiety been felt. Often they are in the cave, also not once twice in one room of the inn. But Pandan Wangi has never had the feeling he has now.

"Ah, no. It's okay," said Rangga nervously. Rangga hurriedly threw away all sorts of thoughts that entered his heart.

Pandan Wangi has been considered as his own brother. He had already said in his heart that this girl was his sister. No one, no more than my sister! Rangga threw away strange thoughts and foreign feelings that passed through his heart and mind. He did not want to drift in the feelings of his heart.

"I think this place is quite comfortable to spend the night," said Rangga trying to divert the conversation.

"Yes, as long as there are no disgusting animals," said Pandan Wangi.

"If there's a snake, or ca...."

"Don't fuck around, ah!" sergeant Pandan Wangi while pouting. He was most disgusted with the beasts that Rangga had just mentioned. Although a swordsman, but his instinct as a woman does not just disappear.

"Ha ha ha...!" Rangga laughed out loud.

Pandan Wangi snorted, but smiled also heard the sound of Rangga's laughter. During his time with this young man, only this time he heard Rangga laughing so loosely. The sound of laughter is very melodious in the ears of Pandan Wangi. It was not easy for Rangga to laugh after that. His life was always filled with violence, making it difficult for him to laugh. And Pandan Wangi was happy to hear the laughter that was short but so loose.

"Byeah...! Sleepy, sleep ah," Pandan Fragrance yawned covering his mouth.

"Sleep there. Let me take care" said Rangga.

"Later on, huh?"

"Yes!"

Pandan Wangi took a comfortable place, and spread his body with his arms bent to support his head. Although he had broken down, but his eyes had not been closed. In fact, he stared at the handsome young man who was still sitting behind him.

Maybe they were talking to each other in their hearts. I don't know what's whispered in their hearts. What is clear, Rangga and Pandan Wangi are not calm. The sleepiness is gone too. Several times they glanced at each other, but never met a glance.

While outside the cave, rain continues to fall. It's like the rain won't stop all night. The night continued to creep ever more late, and silence increasingly enveloped the surrounding. The two humans inside the cave remained silent, busy with their own thoughts.

********************

At that time, on another part of the slopes of Bukit Arang Lawu, Prince Kandara Jaya sat pensively in a large and beautiful tent. It has been two days that Lawawi Girang and Kitri Boga have not returned from their investigation of the Red Castle gang based at the top of Bukit Arang Lawu.

Prince Kandara Jaya is getting more agitated, as there is not the slightest news about Lawawi Girang and Kitri Boga. Five people had been sent to find out, and all returned with the same report. Niente.

The five people who were sent were unable to continue the journey to the top, because it was blocked by a wide and deep ravine. They could not have crossed the abyss, for there was no bridge at all. Indeed, they found conjoined tendrils bound to trees, but the tendrils broke in the middle.

"Could it be that Uncle Lawawi Girang and Adi Kitri Boga fell into the abyss?" murmured Prince Kandara Jaya as if asking himself.

"It is also possible that they managed to cross the abyss, Gusti," Karpatala chirped cross-legged slightly to the side in front of the young prince.

"If they made it across, then why did the tendril break?"

Karpatala could not answer. It is difficult to answer the question of Prince Kandara Jaya. The only means of crossing the gorge were only continuous tendrils. But the truth was that now, the tendril broke in the middle. It feels impossible if Lawawi Girang and Kitri Boga can survive to the other side. And if they arrive, of course they are difficult to come back here again.

"If by tomorrow morning they have not appeared, I order the tent to be dismantled immediately and return to the kingdom" said Prince Kandara Jaya.

"Gusty...!" Karpatala was shocked.

"There's no point in waiting here long, while supplies run low. Several times we tried to reach the top, but only until the slope, we have been pushed back. Uncle Karpatala, I will not be ashamed to admit defeat to Ayahanda Prabu. They are indeed tough and strong," said Prince Kandara Jaya firmly.

"Please. Wrestling. Can I make a request?" Karpatala put her hands together in front of her nose, saluting.

"Please" said Prince Kandara Jaya.

"According to the servant, this place should not be emptied at all. The servant will remain here with some soldiers, waiting in case Kakang Lawawi Girang and Gusti Kitri Boga return" Kar-patala said respectfully.

"Then, who will lead the soldiers home?"

"Gusty himself. Isn't Gusti Prince also going back home?"

"No!"

Karpatala gasped in shock at the reply firmly his lord. He did not understand the intention of Prince Kandara Jaya, ordered to return home, and now...

"I wouldn't have gone back to the palace if I wasn't with Kitri Boga!" prince Kandara Jaya said firmly.

"I mean Gusti?" tanya Karpatala did not understand.

"I order you to lead the soldiers back to the palace tomorrow morning, and I myself will go to the top of Arang Lawu Hill."

"Who...! No, Gusti. It is too dangerous to go there alone. Five hundred warriors were not necessarily able to reach the peak, let alone just being alone? No, Gusti. Servant please, don't go there alone."

"I have prepared a letter for Father Prabu, and it is you whom I entrust to hand over this letter. I don't want this letter until it's not through your own hands, Uncle."

Kandara Jaya handed over the letter that was rolled up inside the silver longsong. With trembling hands, Karpatala received the letter. It is free to whine and melt the heart of this lord. Prince Kandara Jaya remains on his feet. Once said black, forever remain black. That is the character of Prince Kandara Jaya.

"The letter was stamped with my heirloom ring. It says your name as your introduction, and the punishment you will receive if the letter is delivered is not through your hands!" prince of Kandara Jaya.

"Hamba carry it out, Gusti," said Karpatala trembling his voice.

"Go, and get ready to dismantle the tent tomorrow!"

"Hamba please resign, Gusti," said Karpatala.

"Hm...!"

Karpatala stood up, then saluted before coming out of the big tent where Prince Kandara Jaya rested. After the death of his loyal retainer, Kandara Jaya remained in his place. He was still thinking about the safety of Kitri Boga which should be his responsibility. He recalled his promise to Maha Patih Sangga Buana to safeguard the safety of his son who is now not necessarily his fate with Lawawi Girang.

Kandara Jaya deeply regrets her careless decision, allowing Punggawa Lawawi Girang to bring along Kitri Boga. Kitri Boga's safety is in his hands. Whatever will happen he must go to the top of Arang Lawu Hill. Had only found Kitri Boga's body, that would have been enough for him. Kandara Jaya did not expect Kitri Boga and Lawawi Girang to be alive today. He realized how dangerous it was to climb the top of Bukit Arang Lawu.

"Ah, the Supreme God.
